25 Wanna Be My Girlfriend?

"Are you feeling okay?" Xui Li sits on the edge of the bed and touch her forehead.

She had a high fever for three days now after that tragedy. Not only her, but Ren Zhi also returned to his family mansion. Gets a high fever as well but for only two days.

"Mm.." She nods her head.

Take her temperature, he feels a bit reliefs. Her temperature drops to 36.9 Celsius. He takes out a porridge that he asks his mother to cook this morning.

He went home these two days just want to ask his mother to cook some porridge and advice on how to treat sick people.

On the morning after she went back from that mountain, Risa immediately finds Xue Mei in Xui Li's room. Her phone is broken because she throws it to the wall. So she didn't get any information about her at all.

After knowing what happens, she calls her private doctor using Xui Li's phone to treat Xue Mei and get a new phone right away. Both of them take a turn to take care of her.

"Xue Mei, can you sit up? I bring you my mom's porridge." He brings the bowl to her with care.

Xue Mei nod again, she sits up and takes the bowl from his hand.

"I like your mom's cooking. It has the same taste like my mom." she smile and scoop the porridge to her mouth.

"If you want to taste more, I can bring you to my family home." He also smiles. He takes his hairband and helps to tie up her hair which is messy right now.

"Eat slowly." He says when he sees the porridge almost finish eaten by her.

"I can't...It's so delicious."

"If my mom heard this, she will surely make you her daughter-in-law you know." he chuckles and tilts his head a bit, staring her face.

"Hmm..who wouldn't want to be your mother's daughter-in-law if she can taste this delicious food every day."

"Mhm?"

"Yup." she nods her head. Noticing that he smile meaningly to her, she lifts up her eyebrow. "What?"

"Nothing." He helps to wipes her corner of lips with the tissue.

"Weirdo." she murmurs and continues to eat again.

Two months have passed.

They only have one month left before the festival start. Just after she regained her health back she starts to work out with her art piece with Ren Zhi.

They spent almost every day to sketching, painting, doing some shopping to find the material for their project and playing around. And that makes she had less time with Xui Li.

She only met him at the store. Before, they always take a subway together but this time, Ren Zhi will send her to the store and fetch her after she was done her working hours. She will go and eat at the outside before they return to the dorm.

The only free time she had is on the weekend. And that also is filled with activity with Risa such as hang out together and gossiping with her.

Lying on Risa's bed while scrolling her phone screen, she suddenly sees a picture of Akatsuki Shou with a model in a cocktail party.

And that reminds her of that night when she found Risa's crying at the bus stop.

"Um...Risa..could I ask you something?"She tries to ask her with care.

"Hm? What is it?" she turns her head to Xue Mei. She was focusing on watching online her soap drama on her laptop.

"Erm..about Akatsuki.. did he had anything to do with why are you crying that day?"

She gulps a bit. After she thinking for some time, she nods her head.

"What? What he do this time?" She immediately sits up.

"Erm.." she scratches her head a little before she continues again. "Well, we just have sex. But he says that he wants to show me how I am a sex toy for him."

"What the…" She went to Risa and hugs her shoulder. Try to give courageous to her.

"So, is that why you were crying that day?"

"Yeah..but don't worry. I have a new plan." Risa smile to her and pats on her arm.

"What plan?"

"Erm..if he wants to toy with me, he can and I also will do the same. Once we married, if I caught him having a scandal even for a piece of tiny news, I will get a divorce immediately. That way, our life will not entangle again."

"But why didn't you just break the engagement with him while you still can? Why you need to wait until you get married?"

"I can't break the engagement now. Our family has already tied up a very big business. If we break up now, both of family will have a grudge with each other. After all, uncle Seiji is my father best friend. I feel bad if we ended this right now."

"My reason for after the wedding is for both of family know how he's real attitude is. A man who always messing around with a lot of girls, do you think he really can stop his desire even after he's get married? No dear, it's already become his habit to do so. Even if his wife is a supermodel if the husband is a playboy, he still gonna be a playboy."

"Erm…wow..I'm speechless." She really is speechless.

"I know. I may sound stupid. But if my stupidity can get me off from this messy red thread then I'm willing to wait."

"Okay..I'll support you for whatever decision you make. Just make sure to tell me if you sad or you had a problem."

"I know you're the best friend I had."

"Oh, about Xui Li…" She suddenly remembers Risa had a crush with Xui Li.

"Hey..you know, I think he didn't feel the same way as me. I mean, he is really a nice guy. But he only sees me as his little sister. So there's no way to make him fall in love with me. Just being his crush is enough for me I guess." She smiles earnestly.

"Alright. So, have you decide what songs did you choose to sing at the competition day?"

"Ah~ I had.."

"What's the title?"

"Aish..no way I tell you." She smiles.

"Fine..then what day is your turn?"

"Fifteen. So make sure you have to come, okay? I and Xui Li had the same date to perform."

"Really?"

"Yeah, really."

"Awesome! I will surely come." she lifts up her palm like she was promising her.

"So, what about you? What's your exhibition date?"

"I'm on the fourteen."

"Fantastic. You know, the prize for this year is the student who gets the award to each department will go on a tour around Asia, performing for a week and full vacation is sponsored by our University."

"That's sound nice."

"Yup. So, Xue Mei..let do our best to get the award."

"So this is our last piece of drawing. Let's do our best, Xue Mei." He high five her and they start to work on their artwork.

After a few hours, she wipes her sweat on her forehead using her back of her palm.

"Ren…do you think I should put more glitter dust in that area?" she asks him without looking at him while she stepping backward try to get a bigger picture,

"Huh?" Ren Zhi turns around and without knowing it, she already bumps him from her back and they fall on the floor because of the collision.

"Ah!" Xue Mei shout a bit and he holds her waist and they make a quite thud sound on the floor.

Thud!

"Ouch." Ren Zhi groans a bit.

"Sorry," she said slowly and their eyes met again for the countless time.

Touch her cheek with his palm, he slowly said. "Hey…do you…wanna be my girlfriend?"
