68 If You Want A World, I Will Give It To You

Ren Zhi feels his chest tighten and his breath also feel shorten than before. He tries to digest the news. He was totally shocked.

"I..I don't know how to tell you before. That is why...I choose to break up with you. I return here back is actually want to makes sure, you live yourself happily. And I'm glad you're okay, Ren. You found a wonderful girlfriend." She stands up and wipes her tears. She put on a sweet smile on her face. Even though it was a forceful smile she needs to put, still she looks beautiful.

"I know I don't deserve to be any near of you. So, thank you. Thank you for at least listening to my reason." She turns around want to go inside the house back.

Seeing she start to make a step, he held her shoulder gently making her stop.

"Ha Eun," His voice was soft just like before, when they were in a relationship.

"I'll always be by your side. You can ask me for help or tell me when you're sick. I can always be your friend if you don't mind. I'll listen to your every story and complaint."

Touches his hand, she says "Thank you, I really appreciate it. Good night Ren." She went inside and closes the door.

Leaned her back on the door, she slowly slumps to the floor. Pinch her forehead using both of her hand, she burst into a cry.

Leaving him is not her option, but because she loves him, she willing to go as far as possible to find any slightest hope for her to gain her health again.

She went to many countries and only come with one solution. She can only prolong her life for a year or two. The medicine she took guarantee her that she will not be having a massive effect like a normal cancer patient. Her appearance looks normal without having hair loss or became thin day by day, however, she must often be warded to attend on her therapy and switch her medication. Every time she does that, she will feel a real pain inside her heart, her brain, her bone and all of her body part become weak for about one to two week.

This has gone for a few years without any of her family knowledge. All this time, she will hold her pain alone in a foreign country. Last few months, her doctor telling her that she only has the least, one year to live. Any further than that, her body would not able to hold it anymore.

That is the reason why she returns back to Imperial City. Just to find the one that she loves. The one that always in her mind all those years. She had to endure the loneliness for years.

Upon her arrival that day, she was quite shocked to find that he already move on with a new girl. However, she never holds a grudge to her. She knows it's her in the wrong in the first place.

Even though she wanted to hug him, touch him and be in his embrace that day, she knew that is all not possible anymore for her. She could only rely on her body to at least holding on a little bit longer. Seeing him graduate and have a happy life is what she ever wanted before she closes her eyes for eternally.

Feeling a bit suffocated with her sobs, she tried to stand up and went to her bedroom. In the middle way, she collapses on the floor.

Ren standing under the rain shower. His entire body wet with the water for almost 15 minutes. He still can't believe what she just reveals to him.

She was always happy and active. Both of them always eat nutritious food and he was sure of that. She rarely got a fever and always in high spirit too. So how come this suddenly happen to her?

All along these past years, he thought that he is the one who is not worth her. So that is why she leaves him, for a better future or with a better someone than him. Why did she never leave a clue to him? Does she know how important she is to him? He loves her with all his might back then. He loves her until when she left him, it drives him crazy and almost kills himself.

He looks at his arm. There a faint trace of a long cut from his wrist until his elbow. The pain from the wound indeed healed a long ago, yet his pain inside his heart seems never fade away.

He closes his eyes and tries to not think about it for a moment. He finishes up his bath and wore his black robe.

While drying his hair, he looks at his phone. The wallpaper on his phone is his picture with Xue Mei when they go on a date last month.

While staring at it, suddenly his phone vibrate. Looked at the caller, he immediately picks up the call.

"Babe."

"Hey! What are you doing now?" Her voice sounds cheerful like always.

"Just finish bathing. What about you?"

"I just finish supper." She laughs a bit at the end of the line. He could hear Risa and Xui Li voice.

"Are you with them?" He asks again.

"Yup. We're going to the night amusement park now. Enjoy our youth while we still can.." She giggling a bit.

"Oh..do not return back too late. Tell Xui Li to drive you girls back with carefully." He said. He was a bit tired and his head is also exhausted with what just happen.

"Okay.."

"Good night, Xue Mei."

"Good night. Bye Ren.:" She ended the call.

Sighing a bit, he starts to feel a bit hungry. Yup. He didn't manage to get his dinner today.

Ren Zhi went to the kitchen and open his fridge. Looking inside it, his eyes caught a few unfamiliar things inside it.

"Hm? Since when I do the grocery?" He mumbles. However, he still takes out the celery and a few other items to the kitchen counter.

He makes chicken soup and a cup of coffee. He makes a little too much soup for him and without any thinking, he put the soup into another bowl and place it on the tray.

"Well, I guess Ha Eun also didn't manage to eat dinner as well." He changes his clothes to his casual home attire and brings the tray to the next door.

Ring the bell, he waits at her door patiently. After a minute and no answer, he rings it again.

Same as before. He was sure he didn't hear any sound that indicates she leaving her house before. He twists the doorknob and to his surprise, her door is unlocked.

Open the door slowly, he went inside her house. "Ha Eun?" He calls her name.

He put the tray on the kitchen counter before he switched on the light.

"Ha Eun!" He runs to her which is lying on the floor unconsciously.He shakes her body a little try to wake her up.

"Ha Eun? Wake up." He's a bit panic when she doesn't react at all.

Base on her face and swelling eyes, he was sure she cry earlier. Scoop her body and take her handbag, he brings her to the nearest hospital with speed.

"Hang in there, Ha Eun." He said while driving. His heart beat faster and there's a weird feeling rage want to come out from his sealed bottom heart.

At the amusement park.

Risa's phone suddenly rings and she distances herself to pick up the phone.

"Xui Li..try this one." Xue Mei points her finger to the shooting stall.

Smiling a bit, he said. "Wanna bet?"

"What's the prize?" She looks at him with determined.

"Well, if you won, I buy you an ice cream?"

"Tch! Just an ice cream?" She frowned a bit.

"Haagen-Dazs bingsu. Big bowl size." He tries to lure her.

"On. Let's go." She immediately smiles and goes to the shooting stall.

Xui Li smiling widely to see her change her mind in instant because of the dessert.

'Don't even mention the ice-cream, if you want a world, I will give it to you.'

Took the aim, Xui Li shoot at five different points.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! One missed the center while the other four hit the redpoint.

"Well, not bad. You should apply to join the army you know." Xue Mei was amazed by his skill.

She took the aim and shoot it.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

"I guess, you're the one who should apply for it." Xui Li smile.

Put the gun back, the man at the stall gives them a very big teddy bear to Xue Mei and Xui Li got a medium size teddy bear.
