44 We Go With My Turtle

"Thanks, mom…" Xue Mei went to the kitchen with her mom.

"Thank you, ma'am." Xui Li said and when he wants to follow them, Wang Wei stops him and ask him to wait at the living hall together with the granny and him.

Xui Li follows him and sits at the comfy couch.

"How long have you been friend with Xue Mei?" Wang Mei starts the investigation.

"From her first day enter the university sir." He smiles a bit to Xue Mei's father.

'Fuh, I feel like I've been interrogated by the FBI.'

"Erm, are you in the same year as her?"

"No sir, I'm in the third year."

"Same course?"

Shakes his head, he says again "No, I'm in musical instrument course."

"Oh…so are you from Imperial City huh?"

"Yes..oh! By the way.." He rummages his backpack and takes out a wine bottle with a ribbon on it.

"This is from my family as a greeting." He handed the wine bottle to Wang Wei.

Took the bottle, he glances on the brand.

'This is the most expensive brand of wine.'

"Erm Xui Li, right? What is your first name?"

"Huh? It is Feng. My name is Feng Xui Li." He sits back at his spot earlier.

"Tell your family that I say thank you for the gift."

"Honey~ dinner's ready. Bring Xui Li to the kitchen." Ming Yi shouts from the kitchen counter while Xue Mei takes out the plates.

"Alright, dear." Wang Mei reply to his wife. Looked at Xui Li, he makes a sign to follow him to the kitchen.

While passing Xue Mei's grandmother, she murmurs a little where he could hear it.

"Such a nice ass he has."

Xui Li's face turn red immediately and divert his eyes elsewhere. And that when he saw the hanging television which is now showing a romantic scene which is an 18sx action, obviously.

'Oh, …she's said about that actor.' He feels a bit embarrassed about his assumption.

After having dinner, Wang Mei brings Xui Li to one of the guest room and told him to stay for a few days before he went back to Imperial City.

Agree with his suggestion, he told her mother that he will return after two days. He didn't plan to drive alone, thus he decided to drive until he arrives at the center of Calestical city and by that day Feng Li Na, his third sister will be back from her trip and since she uses their family private jet, he gonna ask her to pick him up at the Calestical City and let his car being shipped by the airlines company.

The next morning,

The crowing sound from the rooster makes him wake up early in the morning.

He sits up and rubs his face a bit. Take the towel that Xue Mei's father give him yesterday, he went to the bathroom. Shower and change his clothes to a sports suit.

"Good morning." Shen Ming Yi greets him and not long after Shen Wang Wei also greets him. He also wears a jogs suit.

"Wanna take a morning run?" He asks Xui Li.

Xui Li nods her head.

"Alright, let's go while auntie makes us breakfast." He tied up his sports shoes while Xui Li went to find his jogging shoes at his car trunk.

After changing the shoes, both of them went running at the border of the paddy field.

In the morning, he can see clearly the view of the villages. It is really beautiful. There a valley behind the vast paddy field. The house to each other is quite far but he can see all the villagers greet each one of them when they bump to each other.

Not only that, he can see various animals such as cow, bull, chicken, ducks, goose and many more.

He smiles while running. He feels so happy to be able to see this scenery.

"Like it here?" Shen Wang Wei suddenly asks him when he saw how happy he was while running.

"Yeah... it's so harmony."

"People here are not often seeing a city boy like you. So if you feel a bit uncomfortable with their gaze, just ignore them."

"Oh no no no...I don't feel it that way." He immediately shakes his head.

"I see." He smiles and runs ahead of him.

"Miss...Miss..it's already morning."

"Nghh.." Ying Yue opens her eyes slowly.

For the last night, she can sleep so soundly like the past year when she did not have any depression.

Stretching her body, she glances at her door when she hears a knocking sound.

She went down from the bed and go to the door.

"I already awake, butler Han." She said while opening the door.

"That's good. Let have breakfast then." Ren Zhi smile at her.

"Uh...Ren, why are you still here?" She scrunches her eyebrow when seeing him.

"I stay here until my semester break finish."

Ying Yue pinch her forehead. "God!!" She grunts a bit and closes her door back.

"Yueyue..come down, we'll eat together. Today is your branch launching party night, right?" Ren Zhi said from the door.

She ignores him and went to the bathroom.

Inside the bathtub, she keeps thinking over and over again.

"He will be with me until his semester break finish. Should I or shouldn't I use this opportunity? But what if I turn to be more devastated like before? What if, if this feeling won't go away?"

She bangs her head to her knees while curling up on the bath tube.

"God..what should I do??"

"Xui Li. After we return to home and put all these things, I want to go to visit my brother. Do you wanna come with me?" Xue Mei asks while choosing tomatoes from the stall.

Both of them are now doing some grocery shopping for their dinner tonight.

"Sure. You drive? I don't know this area as much as you." Xui Li also help her to choose the tomatoes.

"Hmm..we go with my turtle then." She already smiles.

"Huh??"

"Nothing. Come on, I want to pay for this first." She snatches the tomatoes from his hand and went to the seller with a plastic bag on her hand.

After they return home and put the things into the fridge and after Xue Mei cook something for her grandmother, they went to the garage beside the house.

"Ta-da~" She brings out the scooter from the garage.

"Uh….are we going to go with this?" He looks at her with a bit shocked.

"Yeah..what? I have my license." She giggling.

"Erm...Okay."
