103 Don't Stare Too Long

"Meimei. There's a parcel for you." Shen Ming Yi said and give the parcel to Xue Mei at her bedroom. She also got a parcel for the whole family.

Xue Mei was occupied with her report. She needs to submit it once the semester start. This is her application ticket to go to Paris! She's decided she wants to continue her studies even though she is no longer Ren's girlfriend.

She had been wasting her times to cry over him this past week. It is no use to cry while she still had a future she needs to take care of. After that phone call, he never calls her again.

Open the parcel, she tilts her head a bit looking at the snow globe, Red wool hand gloves, and Red scarf. Even though red is not her favorite color, but she likes it. When she tries it out, the color looks to match her skin.

There's a card inside the parcel. Took the card, she flips it.

'I hope you like it. -Xui Li-'

She slowly smiles and put the card back at the table. She took the snow globe and look at the inside of it.

There's a figure of a woman who looks like her, skiing and the one figure who looks like Xui Li in a mini size were looking at her with adoration from her back. Shake the snow globe and the small white bead fall onto the figure. It looks lovely.

She then took the snow globe and place it on her bedroom. While the scarf and gloves, she keeps it on her wardrobe. She will definitely wear it later.

'Why he needs to be so good to me?' She shakes her head and continues to do her work.

New semester, new year, and new beginner for Xue Mei. She inhales before she walks into her hostel room. This year there's a new student who will join them like the last year.

Who knows it's been one year since she studies here. Elle has been fully delivered to her family house. Since she will stay only for a few months before she went overseas.

Place all of her bag and belongings, she searches for her report and her document for University that she already choose and put in the list for transferring.

It is a bit hard for her because her legs are still plastered and she needs to use the cane. But what can she do about it?

After finding the report and document that she looking for, she went downstairs. Lucky for her, Luo Hui also wants to submit her final report. She helps her and rides her to the Fine Art office building.

"If you're done, wait for me here and if I earlier, I will wait for you here. Okay?" She smiles at her before they part their ways.

She just nods her head and went to the right hallway. A few students look at her leg like they look at an Alien. 'So that is what her brother feel when he had to endure the looks from the onlookers and bystander.'

Knocking on the door, she waits for a moment before she gets permission to enter the room.

Once she enters the room, the adviser's eyes fell to her leg. "What happens?" The adviser which is around her thirties ask.

Pursed her lips a little, she tries to smile. "Something happens during the vacation. But it's not that serious, Madam."

"I see." She nods her head and takes the report Xue Mei give her. She examines the details for about half an hour before she looks up to her.

"Very details. Every task that I have given to you also quite impressive. If it continues like this, I'm sure you'll be able to get accepted by one of these universities that you already list out." She closes the report.

"But, your final mark will be evaluated in this Spring festival. Do you best and I also will help you to get the chance to further your studies overseas. I think that's all it for today." She smiles at Xue Mei as she also smiles back to her.

"Thank you, madam." She stands up and takes her cane before she slowly walks off from the adviser office.

While passing the hallway, she overheard something in other dean rooms.

"Master Zheng, this is for your own good. This Spring festival you are required to pair up with Miss Choi, Miss Shen needs to be out of the frame. This is what the principal has decided for your final year." An old man around his fifties said calmly.

"But, Sir. Miss Shen has been pair up with me since her first year..We.."

"I'm sorry Master Zheng, this is not something that I decide myself. It is either you follow the rules, or you can't graduate this year."

"Ren.." Ha Eun at his side pat on his shoulder before she turns to the old dean. "Sir, I just returned last semester and for me to pair up with Mister Zheng here is a bit unfair to his partner. Is there any way for us to talk it out?"

Xue Mei at the outside of the room lowered her head and walk down the hall. She doesn't need to hear it anymore. It's okay if she had to do it alone this time. She needs to biased her feeling when Ren Zhi is not around her anymore.

Sighing, the old dean also at lost. He just follows his boss's order. "How about this? I heard Miss Shen is applying for the university in France, maybe I can offer a recommendation letter for her?"

Thinking a moment, Ren Zhi gives in. He then said to the old dean "Secure her one position in one of the universities in the list."

Ha Eun already turns to him. A bit shock. "Ren, are you sure about this?"

He nods his head slightly. He still needs to meet Xue Mei. He still hasn't apologized to her when he didn't even come to meet her on the semester break after the vacation.

"Then, I'm looking forward to both of your art collaboration." The dean smile happily.

When Xue Mei went back to her room, she bumps with Xui Li at the hallway.

He just arrives with Milo in his arm.

"Oh, hi. How was your ankle?" He squatted down and Milo runs to his shoulder.

"Erm, another two months for this plaster be opened." She said with a smile on her face.

"That's good then." He stands up again and looks at her face like he was missing her so much.

Seeing him staring at her make her heart skip a beat. She flustered and lowered her gaze while muttering "Don't stare at me."

Chuckles, he tucks her hair behind her back of the ear. "I've been missing you." He said with a low voice before suddenly Risa interrupting them with a fake cough.

"Ahem!" Risa smiling at both of them.

"Making some drama?" She teasingly asks both of them.

Xui Li shifts his eyes to Risa and smile at her. "Hi, there."

"Hi Xui Li-senpai~" She replies with a rhythm.

Xue Mei just rolled her eyes to Risa and stick out her tongue after that.

"You both should get ready, later, the new student will arrive." Xui Li takes his leave and went downstairs after that.

Once Xui Li went inside his room, Risa went to Xue Mei with a grin on her face.

"So, did you break up with Ren and now you are considering Xui Li as your boyfriend to be?"

"What are you talking about?" She brushes Risa's hand on her shoulder before both of them went into Xue Mei's room.

"Oh..come on! I see how you blushed to see him. After all, he likes you. So just accept him already." Risa still wants to convince Xue Mei.

"It's not that easy okay." She put her bag on the bed and change her attire into home casual clothes.

"Hmmm.." Risa pouts a bit because Xue Mei is hard to persuade.

"Welcome!!" All the Fine Art girls celebrate a new student for this new year. Xui Li just stay at the back of the group looking at all the energetic girls welcoming them.

This year they have three new students and all of them is super beauty. Of course they pretty. They had money to be beauty.

One of the girls can't keep her eyes away from Xui Li since after she enters the dorm. She was attracted to his handsomeness and that makes Risa, Luo Hui, and other girls feel uneasy about her.

"Hey hey, don't stare too long. He is your senior." Luo Hui snaps her finger in front of the girls.

Smiling, she said "Sorry."
