49 You're Not That Beautiful

Until her last breath, he didn't manage to come to the village. Risa was so shocked and scared that day. She's been crying after her mother collapsed when she wants to make her breakfast.

Mr. Takashi is the one who brings her mother to the hospital and after the doctor announcing her death, he arranges transportation to transport her body back to Japan.

Once Kenji heard about her death, he was also in no state to stand up again. Their family manages to get a hall for her funeral ceremony. It was so sudden and the news shocked everyone.

At the cemetery, he holds Risa tightly. Risa's crying makes his heart wrench even more. He tries to keep calm in front of everyone, once they start to leave, he still standing in front of the tombstone.

"Master, I'll bring Risa-sama back to the mansion first." Mr. Takashi says with politely. He knows his master might want to be alone at this moment.

Nods his head slowly, he squatted down while Mr. Takashi and Risa already went to the car park.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?"

"All this time, you had your time to tell me about this..why.." He sobs at the front of her grave.

"How am I supposed to live now? You're so heartless. You push me aside and let me live alone while you were sick. And what? You thought that I could live like we used to before, after you're gone? You're so cruel, Sakura..how could you!"

Losing her bring a big impact on him and his company too. He was diagnosed with a high level of stress. He didn't go home so often and always working non-stop. Risa was abandoned by him and has been taken care of by the servants.

If he went home, he often ignoring Risa and sometimes he would burst his anger to her. That makes Risa feels sadder and refuses to take her medicine.

Using this opportunity, Saya makes a move. She tries to be the 'stress-relieving' to him and the news about him going out with her spread again.

Sakura's family did not say anything about it. But they decide to let Risa return back to Calestical City where she used to stay there with her late mother memory. The memory of both of them is still there and she might be able to live her life more cheerful than now. Kenji family also support the decision.

Before she returns to Calestical City, Kenji best friend, Akatsuki Sata, made a deal with him. To let their business and friendship are on the right track, he decides to make his sole heir with Sakura to be engaged with his son, Akatsuki Shou. It is also because Risa holds half of the asset after Sakura's death.

Not wanting to lose such a big deal and since Akatsuki Sata also is one of the richest family in Japan, he agrees to his condition. After the engagement, she returns back to north Calestical City. Living by herself there with the servant and her grandparents often to see her there when they had free time.

As she grew up, her face, her posture, and her all body feature resemble more like her mother, Sakura. Even her voice also not different much then her mother. It becomes more complicated when every time Kenji meet her daughter.

He has often mistaken her as his wife. That is why Risa doesn't like to go to her father's home in Japan. She feels like betrayed and feels sorry to her mother. Every single memory of her mother pain will come to cross her mind. While for her father, he will often remember every moment he had with Sakura will also come back. Especially when they were in their college days. That is their golden time.

He closed his eyes which feel a bit hot and reddish a bit. "I miss you." He murmurs slowly before he went to his room.

On the other side, Risa also looking at the same night sky from her balcony. "Mama..I'll come and visit you tomorrow." She tries to smiles and went to her bedroom.

"Well, I hope to see you again, Xui Li." Shen Wang Wei pats on Xui Li's shoulder.

"Yeah. It nice to meet you too sir, madam, and grandma." He smiles at them before he takes his leave.

Open up the car door, Xue Mei gives him a pack of rice that she prepared yesterday evening.

"Um, Xui Li..gives this to your mom. I don't know if she will eat it or not. But it was from our paddy field. So I hope she'll like it." She smiles at him while handed a pack of rice.

"Oh! Thank you!" He ruffles her hair and takes the pack. "I'm sure she'll love it."

He drives off from the courtyard and set his destination to the Calestical City airport. His third sister Li Na will pick him up later.

"Ah~ he such a nice guy." Shen Ming Yi cupped her face.

"Meimei..its been better if you could be his wife. At least I can have such a nice and handsome son-in-law."

"Tch! Mom!" She glared at her mother.

"What?"

"Urgh..by the way, can you help me with something?" She drags her mother to the inside of the house. Her father and her grandmother also went inside the house.

"What is it?"

"Help me to dye my hair back to my original color." She blinks her eyes.

"Huh? Why is that? Are you perhaps already regaining your conscious about fashion?" Her mother smirking.

"Well…my boyfriend said that I look beautiful when the last time I color it in dark brown. It's temporary that time, so now I want it to be permanent."

"Oh…"

"Ah, Meimei..tomorrow I want to go fishing with uncle Wan. Do you wanna go with me?" Wang Wei suddenly remembers that he had a planned with his friends tomorrow. And since Xue Mei often went along with them in the past, he thought that he might want to invite her along, this time too.

"Eh? That's sound fun...I wanna go too." Her eyes lit up a bit.

"Okay. We leave after 6 am." He smiles and went upstairs.

"Hey, you're a girl you know? Why you like to go fishing?" Her mother pouted a bit.

Chuckles, she pats on her mother's back. "Ah~ poor my mom..she can't even fishing. Hehehe…"

"This brat!"

"Hahaha..mom..fishing can teach us to be patient you know? While waiting for it, we can daydream and imagine things that we like.."

"That sound like wasting of time.."

"Well, I agree. But I can't help but to like that kind of activity. So, mom, let's go to the town and get my hair fixed."

"Haa…okay...I go and tell your father first."

Once her mother went upstairs, she turns to look at her grandmother.

"What's up grandma? Why you pull a long face?" She teased her grandmother.

"Hmmm...I want Xui Li to be your husband. But you keep bragging about your 'invisible' boyfriend. So boring.." She pouted.

"Whoa! That's so….far away from my expectation. I'm still far…away from that's what called marriages, grandma." She was a bit shocked by her grandmother thought. She pinches her grandmother's cheek up and down, teasing her more.

"Hey, Meimei..don't do something so impolite to your grandma." Shen Ming Yi scolds her daughter from the staircase.

"Haih…Ming Yi, I told you before..we should throw her into the ocean when she was an infant. Now you see what she did to me?"

Gasp, she looks at her mother.

"Hmm...I think I should take your advice back then mother."

"Mom!! how could you."

"What? Your grandma's suggestion is right though. You were so naughty and stubborn. If I know, I would throw you to the ocean back then." Ming Yi rolled her eyes and went downstairs.

"That's right..having her makes us more headache." Her grandmother put the oil on the flames.

"Well, if you do that..you won't be able to see your beautiful daughter now, right?"

"Erm..not really. You're not that beautiful."

"Grrr…that's enough.." She grit her teeth.

"Shall we go now?"

"Yes, please."

"Grandma, we go now..take care."

"Okay..make sure to not be a clown after you back." She waves her hand to both of the daughter-in-law and granddaughter.
