"Whose girl?" Feng Li Jun asks at the dining door frame. He just returned back from his company.

Feeling a bit curious when there's no one to greet him at the living hall nor the entrance, he went to the kitchen and overheard Feng Xui Li said something about his girl.

All of the girls and Xui Li turn to look at the door frame.

"Dear..welcome home." Feng Xiu Ming went to her husband and take the suitcase from his hand.

"Let's meet our daughter-in-law, Xue Mei." She led him to the dining table.

Xue Mei immediately stands up and bow his head to Xui Li's father.

"Uncle, I'm sorry to intruding your house."

"Eh, it's okay..please sit down." Feng Li Jun said gently and went to sit at the end of the table. He stares at her hair before he shakes his head a little.

'it's okay..it is his choice..do not question it.' He said inwardly before he looks at the bowl in front of her.

"Ah, did you like the laksa that my wife makes?" He asks.

Nod her head, she says "Very! I like the taste."

"Happy that you like it. This is also Xui Li's favorite food."

Xui Li rolled his eyes, while two of his sister already grinning to him.

"Dad approves! Yeay!" Both of his sisters said happily.

"Girls, don't shout." Feng Li Jun turn to both of his daughters. His voice remains gentle.

'Ah~ that is where Xui Li got his gentle voice and attitude. His family is sure a 'happy-go-lucky' type.' Xue Mei smiling.

"Dear, tomorrow Xui Li will send Xue Mei to the northern province of Calestical City. He will meet up with Xue Mei parents. What did you think that he should bring as a gift?" Feng Xiu Ming ask.

"Oh? Meeting her family so soon? That's fast." He turns to look at his son.

Xui Li lost his word. Don't know what to say anymore. He just shrugged his shoulder a bit.

"Hm..how about if you bring the dowry to her parents? It's better than bring the gift right?"

Xue Mei almost chock on her drink. She immediately wipes her mouth with a clean cloth.

"Ah..this is getting nonsense.." He takes a safe way to escape by holding Xue Mei's hand and say to his family.

"We're gonna leave early morning tomorrow. So do not disturb us tonight."

"Ah~ what about sleeping with me and dad?" Feng Xiu Ming teasing her son making him turn beet red.

Xue Mei snaps her head to see him with a smile on her face. She tries to hold her laugh.

"Did you.."

"Don't say any word.." He said and led her to his room.

His family on the dining already laughing at him being caught by Xue Mei that he still wanna sleep with his mom and dad even though he already big enough.

Went inside his room, she looks at him with disbelief.

"Are you actually a germophobe guy or what?"

"Huh? No." Xui Li frowned a bit before he goes to his huge wardrobe.

"Then, why is your room so clean? The interior was so…mm, I don't know how to express it."

"I just like it to be simple, clean and comfortable for me." He went to her with a bathrobe on his hand.

"Here. Use this and take a shower if you want." He handed her a new bathrobe and a set of new toiletries.

Looking at the item, she stares at it before she says. "Urm…you know that I am a girl right?"

"Yeah, so?"

"Me, showering in your room….I feel very…uncomfortable."

"Okay, so you wanna go to my sister's room?"

She nods her head. "If you have any woman servant room is also okay with me."

"Erm..we don't have an in-house servant. All of them only comes during the day and return after 6 pm."

"Oh.." She was a bit surprised.

'No wonder I didn't see any servant at this house.'

"We have a guest room, you can stay the night there. But my mom will probably be asking you why we sleep in a separate room." He went to her luggage, ready to move it to the guest room.

"W…Why would she ask that?"

Open the door, he led her in and said before he goes "Sleep early, I will drive you to your hometown tomorrow."

She nods her head and closes the door once he left. She was grateful his family did not say anything and even treat her with warmth. 'Who's the lucky girl who will have this beautiful family..hmm..'

After done showering and change her clothes, she finds her phone and tries to call Ren Zhi.

"Babe?" His voice sounded like he was sleeping.

"Ren, are you asleep?" She asks.

"Urm...I fall asleep. Why dear? Do you need something?"

"Uh, no...I just want to hear your voice. That's all."

"Xue Mei, I'm sorry I couldn't send you to the bus station. I really want to see you off but I also can't just leave Yueyue like that. Her condition…"

"What happens to her actually?"

"She..she tries to kill herself. The doctors say she's having depression. To not make our parent to worried I just say to them that she's having a high fever. She needs moral support, so that's why I need to stay by her."

"I see."

"Xue Mei, I'm sorry. Are you mad at me?" He asks apologetically.

"No…I understand your situation. Don't worry, I'm not that easy to get jealous over something like this. As long you tell the truth to me then, I'm okay."

"Thanks."

"Ren…I.." She stops her sentence for a moment.

'How can I say to him that I miss the bus and I stayed at Xui Li's house? He might have a misunderstanding. Hmm.'

"What's wrong, babe?"

"Uh…nothing...I just want to say I'm a bit sleepy. I glad to hear your voice before I went to sleep. Hehe." She decides to not tell him about her situation.

Chuckles, he smiles after that.

"Need lullaby to make you sleep?"

"No, thanks..you don't have that talent." She also giggling to hear his suggestion.

"Then, good night dear. I'll call you tomorrow, okay?"

"Mm..good night Ren. I love you."

"I love you too." He replies to her before they ended the call.
