8 New home

The Wang estate. 

A man in a suit stood in front of Tian Cheng. He looks like he's in his 40s. He has a remarkably handsome face though he was old. One could think that if the man was young, women would be entranced by him. 

"Where have you been?" Master Wang asked. 

"The Jiang estate." Tian Cheng replied. 

"Suppress your feelings to 'her.' You're getting engaged to the young miss of the Zhao family next week." Master Jiang demanded.

"En." Tiian Cheng reluctantly agreed.

In Jiang Yue's room.

Jiang Yue was hacking again to find some information. Her fingers were flying over the keyboard in a quick pace. She looked like she's been doing that for years. After a while, a happy expression was written on her face.

She had found some of her comrades' location. She decided to gather them first and discuss the matter together. She knew it would be not easy to convince them to her side since it was so in her previous life before too. 

'Looks like I need to make some preparations.' She concluded.

As she was pondering on what to prepare beforehand, the phone next to her rang. She picked it up and saw the name 'An Ran.' She wondered what was the matter and answered the call.

"Hello?" Jiang Yue asked.

An Ran heard the soothing voice of her friend and replied. "Hello, Yue."

"What's the matter, Ran'er?" Jiang Yue went to the point.

"My father will be holding a birthday party next week at my house. I want you to come. Can you?" An Ran cut to the chase too and said what was necessary.

"Of course. It's been a while since I saw uncle and auntie too." Jiang Yue said.

Then she heard an unfamiliar man's voice calling An Ran. "An Ran, can you come back?"

"Okay, okay. I'll be back soon." An Ran replied.

"Sorry, Yue. I'm busy now. I'm hanging up now. Bye." An Ran hanged up the call in a hurry.

On the other side, Jiang Yue was speechless for a moment and wondered. 'Who was the man? I hadn't heard about any guy near her.'

In Long Min's house.

There was a majestic building who stood out beyond the rest. It was a house. No, house was not the right word. It was a mansion. It was unbelievably huge and it's walls were carved exquisitely. There was big and tall fountains in front making people stunned. It can be seen that the owner likes fountains.

"Sir, the Xue family is holding a celebration for the head's birthday next week. They sent you an invitation." A man was trembling inside while saying those words. He could feel the cold sweat running on his back.

The man was Long Min's reliable assistant, Zhang Hui. He had served Long min for these couple of years. He was frightened due to the unbearably tense and suffocating atmosphere. The source was obviously Long Min's aura. 

'I beg you, God. Please save me. I still want to see my family one last time.' He thought inside. Of course he wouldn't dare to say that in front of his boss.

"Reject it." Long Min commanded.

"Sir, the Xue family's daughter, Xue An Ran is Young Miss Jiang's best friend. Surely, Young Miss Jiang will be coming too." He said hesitantly. 

He had placed all his stakes there. He heard from the fourth young master that his boss had taken a liking to Young Miss Jiang. Although he didn't believe it since his boss never touched any woman before, he still decided to give it a shot.

'Fourth young master, please don't betray me!' He cried inside.

"Accept the invitation and prepare the best suits all over the world." Long Min was stunned for a bit and then commanded.

"R-right away, sir." He was surprised at his boss' actions. He was also glad that he made the right decision. 

After three steps, he heard his boss' voice again. "Wait."

He stopped instantly and turned back waiting for another command.

"You can get a 3-days off tomorrow." Long Min permissioned.

'W-what?! I didn't hear it wrong right?! Looks like I need to thank the fourth young master later.' He was in ecstasy inside and replied. "Thank you, boss."

Who knows how many years have passed since the last time he got one.

He ran out of the room with a blooming smile.

The servants outside the room were shocked seeing the smile.

Zhang Hui had always left the room with negative expressions like sad, disappointment or fear expressions.

Sadly, after he ran out the room, he couldn't see his boss smiling. Of course, if he did, he probably wouldn't be able to get out of the hospital for weeks.

'You can't run away from me, little bunny.'Long Min thought inwardly.

Unbeknownst to Jiang Yue, a man was going to join her in the party.

The next day.

That was the day Jiang Yue moved out. All of her things had been sent to her new place. She was excited. The reason she moved out partly was because she had a lot of things to do and she couldn't do that in front of her parents.

Her new place is in the VIP room on the top of a condominium. Her place was of the whole floor so it was actually huge. There was also some other facilities like an indoor swimming pool just outside her bedroom. 

The decorations were simple yet exquisite making people think that the owner must have an elegant and a noble bearing aura. There were also some framed arts on the walls and a chandelier was in the middle of the room. It was a beautiful picture.

As Jiang Yue was checking her room, there was a satisfied look on her face followed by a frowned. She thought, 'This place really suits me but I need to find someone to cook for me and clean this place daily.'

She decided to throw those things to the back of her back for now. She went inside a room filled with tens of computers around. It was a dark room but the lights of those computers illuminated the room. There were different types and sizes of them. Those computers are all very expensive and rare around the world. She wasted a lot of money and effort to get those.

'In my previous life, I could get those things easily. Now, I took painstaking effort. It was worth it though.' She thought inside and sighed for a bit.
