Chapter 216 - 216: Never Take You For Granted

Every night she would hear deep and strange noises that came from the black forest. And every time she checked it by herself, she always seen nothing more than the trees that swayed gracefully.

Until it became an ordinary sound for her but Halora couldn't explain why she suddenly felt afraid when the noises echoed inside of the kitchen.

She hurriedly put the glass into the sink and left the window wide open. "I… I've been hearing those terrifying noises but earlier… it was oddly clear and vibrant."

Her forehead and palms became too sweaty and her body embraced by a cold air. While she walked upstairs, the noises became too loud and terrifying. And it scared her to death as she felt the same fear when she fought against Damara.

"Halora!"

"Where have you been?"

Sebastian's voice brought her back to her senses and she hurriedly went upstairs. She was afraid that he might lost control and transform into an odd critter.

She smiled shortly and gave him a cute peace sign. She replied, "Forgive me, my handsome boyfie but I was in the kitchen, drinking some cold water!"

He sighed, stared at her playful brown eyes until without any valid reason, a sweet, sudden smile flushed into his thin, crimson lips.

It was quite strange but she clasped her hands and looked away from his alluring gaze.

"Stay where you are and don't you dare to make a move!"

A weakening sensation suddenly touched on her body that she couldn't explain. Halora gawked at him without a blink of an eye as she stood straight in front of her room.

She turned her head to the left where she could see the stairs. She gasped, letting out the nervous feeling while she sensed Sebastian's strong presence.

For a second, she was drowned by his stares until she was electrified when he touched her face and lifted her chin to met her eyes.

"Don't be afraid to look straight into my eyes, Halora. It's been a long time since I met you but still, you seemed intimidated of me."

"I… I'm sorry, I… I am not used to look into a man's eyes before and your eyes…," she paused that made him more excited and eager to hear the reason.

Sebastian stepped closer, cupped her face and he murmured eagerly, "And my eyes are what?"

His playful smile bothered her for a second. She bit the bottom of her lip, glanced up at him, "A- and your eyes… your eyes are undeniably fascinating!" she said but it was almost a whisper.

Gratefulness shown on his face. His perfect features glowed in the night until he held her waist and pulled her closer to her chest.

"I want to do this to you every time you bit your lip, Halora!" His voice became too husky as it brought a tingling feeling to her whole system.

Her heart beat too fast as she held back her breath and tried to avoid his gaze. "And every time you avoided my gaze!"

Halora was left speechless when he pinned her down to the wall. She could feel the coldness on her back, the unbreakable sensation that almost lost her control.

"S- Sebatian!" she exclaimed.

"Yes? Do you like what I did?" he innocently asked like he did nothing wrong to her.

Halora swallowed greedily and looked around the peaceful hallway. Every room was closed and she was afraid that Jasmine might open the door and saw them in an awkward position.

The picture of it made her feel special but she knew there was always be boundaries between her and him. "J- Jasmine… Jasmine might see us!" she said in a weary tone.

"You looked strained and afraid, Halora? And I don't care if anyone see us like this! I am your boyfriend and you are my girlfriend. It's pretty normal, if you don't ask me."

"That's not what I mean."

"Why don't you tell me?"

A long silence meddled in between while the wind blew up and rubbed on their skin. Halora sighed deeply as she slowly lifted her arms and wrapped around his neck.

"I… I just saw this in the movies w- when I once got a chance to watch it! And it's true, it feels good and relaxing."

All out of a sudden, he burst into laughter as he found it cute and charming. He never thought that she would do it despite of her fearful reactions. But deep down in his chest, he loved how it felt to be with her.

To be with the girl he wanted to marry with until his last breath. By then, Sebastian moved closer to her face that shocked her effortlessly, "How about this one? What do you feel right now?"

"It… it feels good too, Sebastian! B- but would you please s- step b- back, I can't breathe properly." She murmured but the next thing she knew, his hands trailed off to her stomach until she moved sideways, widened her eyes and stopped moving.

Sebastian looked at the wall for a second, then slowly moved his eyes to where his hands rested. He gulped countless times when he realized that an unexpected occurrence took place.

"I'm s- so- sorry, Halora! I didn't mean to hold that thing!" he regretfully looked into her brown eyes and quickly turned his back on her.

He couldn't either believe that he held it without her permission. It seemed healthy and pliable but still, he did something injustice and he needed to ask for forgiveness.

Courageously, he turned around and faced Halora who looked surprised. She was squeezing her wet, cold hands while looking at the ground.

Until he said, "I'm sorry for… for touching your b…"

"It's fine! It's completely fine, Sebastian. Just be careful next time."

He sinfully bowed his head, reached for her sweaty hands and squeezed it gently that took away the fear she has felt.

"I will never take you for granted even how weak and strong you are. I will forever treasure you as a valuable gem eternally.." he stooped, whispered to her ears and kissed her forehead as her tears dripped down to her cheeks.
