Chapter 162 - 162: A Silver Key

Under the thick, well-ventilated wide room, surrounded with expensive things, there was a lot of food on the glass table.

Around it was the lucky nine members of the gang as they celebrated Robbe's birthday.

At first, it filled with loud laughter, not-so-funny jokes that made everyone bird into laughter.

On the right corner of the room, Robbe, Yong, Dylan, Gray, and Stryker were seated next to each other while on the opposite side, Daniel, Andy, the twins– Sky and Cloud chose the more cozy spot.

While all of them spoke to each other about their interests, exes, and new targets, Yong suddenly stood out with a glass of pineapple juice and went to the front to be easily seen by everyone.

He gasped, smiled widely after he read some messages on his latest cellular phone.

"Alright guys...," he paused, rubbed his palm at the moment especially when he met Daniel's disturbing gaze. "Before this day ends, let us all welcome... our cold, bad boy leader– Sebastian!"

Loudly as ever, he clapped his hands together with the right members of the gang except for Daniel who looked away and sipped some juice from his glass.

He felt guilty about what happened between the two of them and good thing was, Sebastian, didn't react exaggeratedly because he thought of Halora. After he accompanied Halora to her house, he asked Zenith to look after her while he was gone at the moment. He didn't want to leave her alone but Halora convinced him to do so.

He seemed different, quiet, and cold as ever from the beginning. But everyone noticed that he was truly bothered until he was seated at the solo chair in front of them all.

Yong grinned bitterly, took a glass of soda, and gave it to the master who was problematic.

"Here, drink some of it to take away the negativity that surrounds your body, Sebastian," he said nicely as he was afraid to be beaten up by him.

"Huh, I can't believe that sh * t still exists!" Sebastian cursed right after he drank everything effortlessly. He seated like a King, a furious king who remained calm but he gritted his teeth in anger. "F*ck!" he added that urged Andy to ask.

He said, "What's wrong? Did something happened while we're gone?"

"I am fine, but earlier, Halora passed out and there was an intruder who visited at the clinic that left an awful evidence!"

Andy looked at Daniel who stayed still. He knew they argued because of her but after all, they were still friends and they shouldn't be fighting for a small thing.

Even he was hesitant to go more deeply, he took some chip potatoes, chewed it quietly, "Did you caught the intruder? You should have told us about it, Sebastian!" he replied that touched the heart of everyone.

Sebastian knew that they would help him but it was none of their business anymore. He never wanted to put their lives on the brink of death because of him.

Not only Andy, but the twins also tapped his shoulders that slightly took the worries away. He sighed in weariness, crossed his legs, and took chips from the bowl.

Before he forgot about Robbe's birthday, he stood, clapped his hands, and suddenly smiled widely that startled his friends.

He gasped, took a small box from his chest, and lent it to the celebrant who looked at him frighteningly.

"What is this? I– it's not a bomb, right?"

"It's not, but still, it is something related," said Sebastian while Stryker giggled on his chair. Until the rest of the boys realized what he meant before Robbe opened it.

He gasped, reached for the brown box. Robbie put his hand on it, trying to make a guess. And excitement flaunted on his face that brought a long, deafening silence as he prepared himself for anything possible to happen.

Yong quickly ran behind Robbe as he grabbed it from the table. He opened the box but he didn't saw what was inside of it when Daniel took it right from his grip.

He said coldly, "It's not yours..."

"A– alright? I was just trying to encourage him to open it before it tires us all!" Yong replied. He was looking at Daniel's eyes before he walked closer to Sebastian with a heavy breath.

His actions were misunderstood by Daniel, as he thought, it was only part of her childish, immature tricks.

The rest of them noticed a small gap between the two but none of them either said anything that would only worsen the situation.

Robbie, on the other side, gulped countless times and took the back from Daniel. He slightly nodded his head, held it like it was a fragile glass while he opened it slowly and slowly.

For the last time, he looked at Sebastian who patiently waited for his reaction and he said, "D*mn you, asshole! If it's not a big thing, I will surely cut your head off, jerk!"

Everyone laughed at him because of his last words. His whole body trembled in fear until a black balloon flew into the air.

Robbie thought it was only a prank because of the fake keys that fell onto the floor. He frowned, rubbed the back of his head while the twins, Stryker, Dylan, and Gray stood and picked a few of the keys and threw them back to the air.

It was a complete mess, not until a silver key fell right into Robbe's left foot. He reckoned it as one of the fake keys but the moment Daniel picked it up on behalf of him, he gulped, glanced at Sebastian who smiled at him as he gave the key to Robbe, walked into the window that confused the twins.

"W– what the hell is going on? D– don't t–tell me... don't tell me you... f*ck, I need to confirm it first!" Sky asked Sebastian but he only shook his head in awe.

No one could ever imagine how he managed to prepare such a wonderful, breathtaking gift.

Before Robbe passed out of amusement, Daniel told him to look at the window with him. Without a doubt, but with a little bit of fear in his chest, he took steps closer to Daniel.

"I–it's driving me c– crazy!" he exclaimed but the moment he saw a black supercar that almost costs million of dollars.

He was entirely shocked by Sebastian's luxurious gift.. And like what everyone expected, he ran into Sebastian, tears shone to his eyes and his heart was filled with joy.
