Chapter 122 - 122: Fooling Around

Before midday, the four of them went to the airport as they fled back to their different residence and acted as nothing happened.

Halora seated beside Sebastian at the second to the last row and Roy accompanied Sandra at the very first row as she usually experienced migraines during flight.

After some couple of hours, they had arrived at the Insilen airport safe and sound. As their luggage completed all the necessary inspection, they went into the departure area where Greg and Sandra's driver waited for them.

Sebastian took off the sunglasses he was wearing, searched for Greg until they met each other gaze and smiled widely.

After his many days, they had seen each other again as Greg thanked Halora about what had tool place last night and complimented her simple, yet, refined outfit.

And before they part their ways, Senastian secretly gave his phone number to Roy who looked great and fine at all. The beer they shared last night was just a piece of cake, Roy said.

"See you around! Take care and have a safe trip!" Roy said as they bumped each other's fists that shocked Halora and Sandra.

Their epic reactions has the same thing like "What the hell happened to the two of them?"

"You too, man! And don't worry about Halora, I will take her home safely."

And that moment, Roy bowed his head as he followed Sandra to the red car. While Sebastian walked into the black car as he let Halora stepped inside of the passenger's seat before he seated beside her.

Greg looked at them through the mirror and started the engine. "Are we driving this beautiful young lady back to her home?"

"Yes!" Halora said.

But Greg, looked at him as he waited for the young master's response.

Sebastian slightly tilted his head, fastened the seatbelt and he said, "Drive her home, Greg. She needs to rest especially her foot."

"Alright, copy that!"

Sebastian secretly stared at Halora who played with her fingers. Her eyes looked heavy and sleepy as she blinked it countless times.

Her lips turned dry as he thought she didn't drink a lot of water before their flight.

He wanted to ignore it but his conscience won't stop bothering him. Sebastian quickly reached for a bottle of water that Greg brought for him and held it for a moment.

"Halora," he called her name in a cold way.

"Hmm?"

He said, "Here, drink a lot of water."

Confusingly, she gulped, looked at his eyes as she was hesitant to accept it. She was thirsty as she forgot to drink water earlier. Her throat turned dry that made her uncomfortable with him.

"T– thank you! I've been feeling thirsty since we arrived at the airport!"

"I know." he replied shortly.

Silently, Greg looked at them as he reminisced the old good days with his first love when he was in high school. It was a tragic love story that urged him to live by himself and never got a chance to marry someone.

He sighed, felt sorry for his faith as he became old alone. But after all, he lived a happys, abundant life since he served the Woo family.

"How's your trip? I heard that you two always get along with each other, am I right?"

Sebastian and Halora looked at him with an awkward reaction to their faces. No one dared to answer his sarcastic question as he might jump to a conclusion right away.

Greg sighed heavily when the entire car was filled with silence. He then opened the stereo, adjusted the volume as at least, he could hear their voices.

"What can you say about it, Young Master? You looked nervous suddenly."

He chuckled, as he waited for his response. But, seconds, minutes have passed, still, no one talked.

Until Sebastian cleared his throat, swallowed his saliva greedily as he said, "And where did you get that information?"

He looked at Greg coldly, trying to change the situation. But, there was no room for escaping as Greg gathered all the proofs secretly.

"Come on, Sebastian! But if you want to know the truth, let me first ask this young, beautiful lady beside you." He winked her eyes on Halora as she felt nervous and a fugitive that was being caught in action by the cops.

She stuttered, grasped the edge of her shirt until she earned enough courage to speak. "P– pa– pardon? I must have been looking at the window earlier."

It was one of the best, yet epic alibi she had ever made.

Greg chuckled while he drove slow. He hit the steering wheel gently as he knew that the two of them denied the truth.

He stopped at the moment and he said, "Like what I'm saying, how's your trip? Did something ferocious happened between you and the other girl with red eyes earlier?"

Halora gulped countless times and thought for a better, convincing answer. It was an easy question yet, she couldn't utter even a single word.

On the other side, Sebastian felt that she was nervous. He then looked at Greg's shoulders and he said, "Stop pestering her! You almost frighten Halora to death and if you are really interested to know the truth, then yes! It was all true that we almost in the same place."

"Happy now?" He added that made Greg laughed drastically.

He replied, "I was just fooling you two around but I expected things like that to happen. Because I know, you really hated that red eyes girl since then!"

In his awe, he cursed and hit the window angrily. He was fooled as he tried to keep his real feelings towards Halora.

He then gasped, looked at her way without a blink of an eye as he managed to be bold and cold again in just a snap of his finger.

He said, "Don't listen to him next time, do you understand?"

"Y– yes." she replied shortly while he looked intently to his eyes. "B– but, can you tell him to stop? I think we are here."

"Stop the car!" He commanded and without a doubt, Greg stopped the engine as he realized that they arrived at Halora's simple home.
