Chapter 121 - 121: Werewolves Are Real

The time had fled too fast, the cold breeze brought goosebumps to the young men who stayed at the rooftop alone while the girls went to their perspective rooms and took a long, peaceful rest.

There were empty bottles and cans that scattered throughout the small table made up of steel. The celebrant was hardly drunk as he insisted while his cold companion was slightly conscious and willful.

"Huh, I can't imagine we are in the same place, drinking dozens of beer like best friends usually do." said Roy.

He then looked at the young man before him, chuckled bitterly and put the bottle of beer to the table. He crossed his legs, and looked at his eyes for a second.

He knew what he meant to say but still, he could feel the tiredness, numbness in his body as he arrived at the hotel, he hasn't had enough time to take a nap after all that happened.

He sighed, closed his fists and he replied, "Men can be friends in a second. We have one thing in common that unite us despite our differences."

"You're right. You are completely right!" Roy laughed bitterly because of his cold reply. He knew he had everything, and that was the truth that hurt him the most.

Roy tried to control the rage, the bitterness he felt since the moment Halora confessed to him. His mind accepted the truth, yet, there was a part of him that hoping... hoping that he could change everything.

But no, it seemed like it was too late for him to impede two lonely people that was destined to meet each other. After a long, long time, he had to decide and let go the girl he loves.

He smiled sarcastically, narrowed his eyes and stared at Sebastian's mesmerizing blue eyes. "Do you like her?"

"Who?"

"Halora." he replied.

Roy calmed himself as he interrogated the man who captured Halora's heart. He knew all of it happened too fast but he saw the sincerity and honestly through Halora's eyes.

"Do you like Halora?" Roy repeated the question, and this time, it was clear, precise and only answerable by yes and or no.

But the entire place was surrounded by a long, deafening silence. And it startled Sebastian who felt a strong, intense tension between Roy.

He then gasped, breathed some fresh, cold air and thought about what he truly feel towards Halora.

"I don't know the exact answer." he said, turned his head to the right where he saw the beautiful city lights. "But, she had changed my life, my beliefs and everything about me! She's like an angel in disguise that was sent from up above and she brought happiness to me."

"Then why don't you tell her what you truly feels about her? It's not too late to be true, man."

In the end, Roy learned how to set her free. It has been a long, long clash and since before it began, he knew who would be the winner.

However, there was something he needed to confirm. If Sebastian secretly like Halora, then he should have court her, but, he kept it on his own and pretended like he didn't care about her.

Sebastian sighed heavily. He knew he denied the truth, but he couldn't find any courage to tell him about his real identity.

"It's about time, Sebastian." A calm voice whispered to his ears but when he turned around, there was no one behind. He gulped, blinked his eyes and stood out from his chair.

His heart filled with a heavy weight that needed to be furlough. He turned around, gritted his teeth as his strong, perfect jawline flaunted.

He said, "I am an alpha,"

"And that's the real reason why I pretend to be cold and ruthless person that everyone knew about! And keeping Halora as a friend is the only key to protect her from my enemies, for heaven's sake!"

He was provoked. His natural rage was triggered because the right time has come.

However, on the other part, he noticed that Roy didn't react exaggeratedly. His brow furrowed then a crept of flush showed on his face.

Until Roy stood, swallowed the small amount of beer that left on the bottle and put it on the table.

He laughed, walked closer to Sebastian as he tapped his shoulders and he replied, "I know, man. I know that you are not an ordinary human! Because I freaking saw you transformed earlier! You were in the dark, fighting against the beasts that attacked us!"

"You're right! And they want to abduct Halora and she her against me!"

"I... I can't believe that werewolves still exists! B– but I am wondering, why did you chose to in an ordinary school rather then ruling your pack?"

It was a good question but Sebastian declined to answer it. He was drunk and if he wanted to help him in protecting Halora, they could speak about it some other time.

Sebastian walked away from him, went back to his seat and opened the can of soda as they drank everything in two hours.

"If you want to help me, let's talk about it next time. I... I just want to be at peace before we go back home tomorrow."

Now that he finally got the chance and confided his identity. It was not difficult to tell Halora about it too. But before that, he had to go back and see Lord Solomon as soon as possible.

Roy rubbed the back of his head, opened another can of soda and chuckled like an idiot, hopeless young man.

"Come on, man! We can talk about it right now and for your information, I am not fcking drunk!"

"Shut up! Just drink it silently and let me think of a better plan on how to get rid all of them."

At that moment, Sebastian remembered the last favor he asked to Halora. At the end of the school year, he must get the highest score among all the examinees to have the power in picking up the girl he wanted to marry with and it would be a threat to his enemies if he could be blessed with... a son.

"Trust me, Halora and you will be the mother of my children when the right time comes." he thought before he drank everything on the can.
