From looking at my stats the system explained that from continuously using my mind to full capacity nonstop for months on end was the reason for overcharging my mage stats.

Even my regular stats went up one or two points.

When Yves came back last night after talking with her sisters we had a long chat.

Be it about cultivation or just life, in general, we spoke for quite a while, and she asked me quite a few questions. Even some pertaining to my personal life which I commended her on.

It would be quite scary to ask someone like me for their personal details, hehe. I didn't mind telling her a bit of a changed story of how I pursued to create the strongest sect in the world.

Surprisingly when I said this, she looked at me with a shocked face. I had never seen her with that kind of expression, only one of carelessness.

The conversation had shown that she had matured quite a bit when I was guiding her she had reached the limit with the Mage Cultivation Manuals.

Luckily I had brought back stuff from the legacy inheritance for her to train with… Otherwise, she would really have jumped to Tier 10 if I had left her alone with sufficient training manuals.

Even though I didn't do much, I still feel proud of her. After I saw how fast she was flying when she rammed into me like a small bull I was nearly brought to tears myself from watching the talent I found to turn into something like this.

That's the kind of thing that I live for!

If she keeps it up I will have no problem giving her a more esteemed position in the future. Although I found a new love for fighting, I would still like my disciples to be able to hold on for themselves…

If I am being realistic, the dream of being immortal is too far away. I need to be prepared to have someone reliable to replace me. Even if it will be far in the future.

I will do my best while I am still here! Although it might be a bit too early to think about that… I haven't even been alive for a year yet, hehe.

When I came back to the hall last night I had noticed all of the main buildings seemed to glow a bit brighter, due to the upgrade.

Not only that it seemed that the disciples that went inside felt a light sense of calm.

It would seem that when you upgrade the main structures, not only does the structure itself become more durable. It also gives its inhabitants a passive mind boosting effect.

If you were to study in the Treasure Pavilion you would receive a slight boost in concentration and efficiency.

Although it isn't much, every tiny thing helps and will add up in the long run.

With my massive storage of points, I should also be able to give sufficient upgrades as well.

Last night I spent quite a bit on my cultivation series, I'm going to need to expand again soon in order to make more MPS Points.

I have purchased up to the 8th Tier of the series which, by itself, cost 1280 MPS Points…

I figured today I would buy the upgrades immediately.

I would also buy the outer sect ring and finish the housing of the outer sect.

I could finally start working on the inner sect and preparing for its use.

Navigating to the building menu I scanned the options;

[Sect Control Building‌ Menu]

[Main Hall (T2 Upgrade) - 14 MPS Points]

[Treasure Storage (T2 Upgrade) - 5 MPS Points]

[Treasure Exchange Pavilion (T2 Upgrade) - 5 MPS Points]

[Professions Hall (T2 Upgrade) - 5 MPS Points]

If its multiples of two, then in order to bring it to Tier 4 structures for all of them it will cost 232 MPS Points…

I think I'll go for Tier 5 and do 704 MPS Points.

Damn it really feels like I just got paid from my part-time minimum wage job, went to the supermarket and spent nearly all of it on groceries.

Including my cultivation manual, it ends up at 5074…

[Purchase Confirmed]

[Thank you for shopping with the system, please come again.]

F*ck you could have at least given me a coupon if your going to say that line!

Letting out a long sigh towards the system, I quickly got up and headed outside to see the light show of the upgrade.

As I reached the doorway, it happened, the fantastical light show lit up my home.

Not only the walls and defensive formation but even the structures which have gone unnoticed for quite a while now.

Inside the main hall, I could immediately notice the changing effect of the mind soothing effect.

If I had to put words on how great it felt, it felt as if it were on par with my Yawning Mind Martial‌ Skill. Which kept my mind clear in battle.

System, it won't hurt my disciples if the effect of this were used on their minds, would it? This kind of effect is only suitable for Tier 3!

[Do not worry Host, the system takes everything into calculation. The system uses an analog system to make a personalized effect for every person that enters the building.]

[A Tier 1 would experience the much more dulled effect, and a Tier 2 would receive only a small dulling effect. And Tier 3 will have the full effect in place. This is due to creating a spatial bubble around the person and infusing it with mana.]

On cue with the systems bragging, an explosion was set off from behind me.

Reacting immediately I quickly ran outside and jumped onto the main hall, and the Professions Hall was actually smoking!

I felt a bit calm knowing that the alarm system wasn't triggered, so it was either one of my disciples or someone above the alarm system's limits…

Feeling a deep chill in my core, I flew inside and smoke was quickly being drained out with the ventilation system.

The new walls shone with a great Tier 5 defensive barrier and seemed to be holding strong.

I waltzed into the room where all the smoke was coming out of and laid my eyes on a slim, white-haired disciple.

Through the smoke, I felt the area with my mana-sense to make sure there was no one else first while I walked up towards him.

His face was comically black with smoke coming off his body as if someone forgot to take him out of the oven…

Jin: "Sect Leader!"

He quickly fell to his knees and looking at me through the smoke with a pleading look.

The smithing area behind him was lightly glowing as I noticed it was blown apart. It seemed to be slowly repairing itself as well… Nice function!

"Outer Disciple, you must have blown up the forge while creating a weapon. Is this true?"

I asked him.

Jin: "This is true Sect Leader! This lowly one was attempting to create a Tier 3 sword but was unable to control the flame…"

He still looked towards me, but with sadness apparent in his eyes.

This… This disciple must be the one who has been selling weapons in the Treasure Pavilion!

Lately, in the Pavilion, there have been many people buying a multitude of weapons from Jian's to Halberds.

Lately, some of these weapons have even reached the Tier 2 mark!

As weapons begin to grow in strength, they exhibit a smoother mana-signature. And have an all-around upgrade, as in the forging process the weapon-smith must infuse their mana into the sword while the forging process is underway.

They become more durable, sharper, and even become a bit lighter. If you were to want a heavier weapon, you would need to specifically forge the weapon with the weight in mind.

Looking back at the disciple in front of me… He was the one in 3rd place of the talent ranking.

I felt towards him with my mana-sense and could immediately tell he was actually Low-Class Tier 3!

Even Phorbes who was now an A talent was only on the peak of Tier 5!

Jin only had a projected level of 8 and has already made it quite far, he must have a secret or two…

"Outer Disciple, Although I would surely punish you for blowing up the forge you have done great service to the sect with your forging. Also, if you look behind you, you can see the repair process is already underway."

As he slowly turned his head to look, the hammer that was still in his hand dropped to the floor as his eyes saw the forge repairing itself.
