Chapter 443 - Plan

Ace had a serious look on his face after reaching this thought. 

It is true that their Mech Knights, Iron Knights, and other versions of Steel Knights made by other organizations have something lacking.

It is their energy…

Their Mech Knights are strong, their Mana Spells can be destructive, and perhaps, the best Mana Artifacts are already attached to them… Unfortunately, the main problem that they have to face is the supply of Mana or the process of supplying it to them on a larger scale. 

They have Mana Gathering Arrays meant for powerful spells but the gathering speed wasn't enough. This is not because they are lacking but because this is the limit of the Array itself. 

Even their genius magicians couldn't do anything about the slow speed of the Array. 

Nevertheless, there are things that can be used alternatively to avoid such problems… It is by using another item that has a better effect!

One of these is a large Mana Stone, the Molten Core, or perhaps, this Space Beast's core!

Even if the core is extremely large after getting it, they can just use the same method they used to create the Molten Core of the Steel Knights to deal with it!

'That's right… I think this is possible! The only problem now is to kill it…'

Ace made up his mind and thought of a plan to deal with the space beast. He felt that their current plan is not that effective. At most, it will still allow the space beast to run away… However, he didn't want that.

Now that the Grand Sages will also help him to protect the capital, he might as well use them to their limits and kill the Space Beast. Not only will he benefit from it, but he will also raise the morale of the remaining people fighting for their freedom.

Ace announced using their intercom. He didn't hear their response but he knows that he managed to send his message to them.

It didn't take long before Ace saw the huge Space Beast ramming on the walls of the capital…

"Avalon… Send the Mech Knights out!"

[ Affirmative. ] 

[ Launching Mech Knights Sequence Started. ] 

[ Linear Catapult Clear. ] 

[ Launching Mech Knights. ]

It only took a few seconds before the Mech Knights were sent out from the Chronos… 

Most of the Mech Knights are actually piloted by their recruited Adept Mages and even Arcane Artificers who had also played the Alien Invasion. These people were the ones who didn't get a chance to join the Space War mission.

Nevertheless, it doesn't mean that they have poor skills. It was just that they didn't have enough time to practice during that time. However, this time is different, they had plenty of time to train inside their base at Mt. Ravencroft and have achieved an expert level thanks to the VR Training and Avalon's guidance. 

"Charge!"

The model of the Mechs they have is based on his Lotus Mech!

It means that there is one they all have a powerful technology with them…

The Radiant Wave Technology!

Initially, this technology was only good as a close-combat as it is meant to destroy other Mech Frames as quickly as possible. It is a weapon of war made to dominate the Mechs battles…

"Now… Try cutting those limbs!" Ace ordered to them. They already know their task but reminding them feels necessary… 

Some of the pilots appear to be overwhelmed by the huge size of the Space Beast… They look like they were stunned by it.

Anyway, Ace continued giving instructions to them… 

Apparently, the limbs will just regenerate even if they managed to cut them using their Magic. It is because the Space Beast has already adapted to Mana making it even more dangerous.

However, using their Radiant Wave and its toxicity can possibly stop it from regenerating. It wouldn't be included in the top four Mech Frames if it's not powerful.

The Serpent's Marauder Mech with their Twilight Armor Technology…

The Dragon's Warrior Mech with their Subspace Blaster Technology…

The Wolf's Sledger Mech with their Psionic Pulse Technology… and finally,

The Lotus's Radiant Mech with their Radiant Wave Technology. These four are the Mech Frames that have reached their peak in terms of their technology.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Ace heard several explosions as he watches everything from the Chronos.

They are firing their Hadron Cannon from the distance to cover Mech Knights as they try to cut off the Space Beast's limbs.

He then saw the Grand Sages below as they heaved a sigh of relief after their appearance.

The city is already in a terrible state, perhaps, if they didn't arrive on time, half of the Dolu City would've completely fallen already.

"Avalon… We need to tell them about our plans. They can't rest yet."

[ Affirmative. ] Avalon replied as the A.I. relayed the plan to the Grand Sages in charge of the current battle…

Their plan is simple… they need to stop the Space Beast from regenerating. They need to cut off its limbs and cut off its connection from the surrounding Mana!

That's right… Now that the Grand Sages or the forces in the capital had seen the strength of the Space Beast, they have to follow his orders. 

As long as the Grand Sages heed his orders and he took possession of all the Lamat Stones, this battle would end in a few more minutes.

Ace smiled at this thought as he watches the Space Beast struggling to fight the Radiant Mech Knights.
