Chapter 39 - Back to the Origins!

Jordan who just got to Central City immediately felt tremors from the fight and flew towards there.

Lobo stood right in front of Oliver and punched towards him. As his punch was about to connect, a green shield appeared in front of Oliver.

As the punch hit the Jordan's shield construct, the shield cracked immediately, leaving Oliver with a face of disbelief.

" Firefly, yer came to have a little fun with the main man?" Lobo asked and tightened his hold around the hooked chain. A worthy opponent has arrived.

" I won't go easy on you, Lobo", Jordan said and created an armor similar to that of Luthor's battle suit. Gatling gun appeared on the top of the suit while rockets launchers formed on the arms.

As Jordan fired the rockets and the hail if bullets, Lobo crossed his arms in front of himself and took the entire attack. After the attack, a line of blood trickled down his mouth. He swung his arms together and jumped towards Jordan with a punch. Jordan in turn created a huge fist to counter the punch.*BOOM*, the effect of the attack sent Jordan reeling back a little.

" You pack quite a punch there big guy. I'd have to up my game"

Then Jordan started to run towards Lobo while muttering silently, "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power--Green Lantern's light!"

After he said that, his body glowed a deep green hue. He threw a punch at Lobo who countered with a punch of his own. When the punch collided, Lobo was sent backwards. Jordan, wasting no time sent a formed a huge baseball glove and caught Lobo throwing him towards himself. The next second, be formed a super sized cricket bat and hit Lobo into the sky.

Meanwhile...

Barry kept dodging Wells punches. Then he saw an opening when Wells suddenly went vibrated his arm to hit Barry's heart.

Barry who had already achieved proficiency with Quantum Tunneling only vibrated his torso and sent a blow straight into Wells' skull.*BOOM* Under the impact of the blow, Wells skull cracks. But to Barry's bewilderment, his wound healed almost instantly.

" Seems you're a more than I can handle. If I can't beat you now, I'll just have to take on a weaker version of me"

" A weaker version of me? Wha... ", then it suddenly dawned on him, 'Shit, is this guy going to my past? If he alters the past or kill me there, I'm doomed. I didn't transmigrate just to die again '

The moment he thought of that, Wells sped off.

"Damn!" Barry exclaimed and followed after him closely. But due to the boost by the particle generator, Wells was getting ahead of Barry very quickly.

"Oh no you don't!" Barry activated the speed force and pushed himself to the limit finally catching up to wells. Throwing a punch at his back, Barry managed to get Wells to slow down a little as be took a little time to dodge. To a speedster, a fraction of a second is all they need to make it count. By the time Wells was blocking his punch, he used his free hand to send a bolt of lightening straight at Wells.

Wells look at him and Barry swore that for a second there, he thought he saw Wells smile.

Then it happened, Wells vibrated through Barry and ran in the opposite direction increasing his speed by much.

Barry grunted and followed hotly. Using all the power of the emergency lightening he stored in the suit for lightening bolt attacks, he unleashed it all at once and followed closely behind Wells.

Then suddenly, space started to wrap and spilt, when the gap was free enough, Wells sped with Barry just managing to enter into it by Hair's breath.

Barry looked around for a while and figured out that Wells was no where to be found.

"F.u.c.k!" he exclaimed when he realized he went back to the time when his parents were still alive.
