Chapter 38 - Reverse Flash Powered up!

When Barry arrived inside the building a huge wind current pushed him back, Wells was inside a small energy container. Wild dark matter energy was pulsating around the container, the yellow suit was turning dark yellow and Well's eyes was flashing gold and dark at the same time due to the mental assualt of the dark matter.

'Can I really handle this on my own?' Barry doubted himself as the energy coming from Harrison Wells was too much. He spun his hands in a clockwise motion very fast causing a repellent wind current to push against the one emanating from the particle generator (what I would like to call the thing Well's built). From each step he took, he drew closer to the particle generator. When he was about to get to it, the container enclosing Wells suddenly exploded, a punch from inside the container hit Barry squarely in the face throwing him into the wall.

Outside, Lobo who has already finished regenerating his wounds stood up straight and took a drag on his cigarette out of habit before he withdrew the chained hook he had on his bike.

" Yer made the main man mad now. Yer little pots of gold are in trouble now" he said and swung his hook at oliver. Oliver used his bow to block the attack. Using the momentum to push himself back, he shot a triple-shot tranquilizer arrow at Lobo.

"Hehe. Baby tricks", Lobo said and broke off the arrow. He began to swing his chain violently, throwing it with all his might at Oliver.

'This is bad' Oliver exclaimed and used a top arrow to pull himself forward while pressing the green ring Barry gave him. The ring released a green light into the clouds.

Jordan who was relaxing over at his house suddenly saw his ring which he had placed on the table, pulsing a bright green light continuously.

" Barry's in trouble" he muttered and wore his ring, transforming into the Green Lantern.

" Jordan to the watchtower. We have a situation over at Barry's end. I'm going over to check it out. I'll call for backup if the need arises."

" Roger" Bruce's voice boomed.

Jordan flew out of the house immediately heading straight towards Central City.

"It's like he increased his speed by a large margin. I'd have to use the SpeedForce just to be able to keep up with him" Barry thought.

" I should be the only Flash. The world can't take the two of us Barry"

" You'll first have to beat me first. Doctor Wells", he said and grinned

" How did... Well, it doesn't matter anyway. Just die! ", Wells said, his eyes blazing with golden electricity.

Barry activated the SpeedForce and released a both of lightening from his palm at wells who as sent reeling back.

It was then Barry heard a voice through the microphone in his suit, "Barry? Jordan here, how are things faring on your end? For you to have called, musta been something serious"

'Oliver must be in trouble if Jordan is on his way here'

" Lobo and Poison Ivy is here. But I can't take them on as there is another guy like me here trying to kill me. Arrgg!!. C... can't really talk much... " he said as Wells threw him into the roof of the building.

" I'll call on the rest of the league. For Lobo to have accepted a contract, he would have backup incase something goes wrong."
