Chapter 23 - A PRESENT

**BOOM**BOOM**

A bomb is trigerred. A man clad in black does a back flip and shoots more bullets at his target. His targets appears unharmed. He his blasted by lasers from his enemy again.

"I have to retreat for now, I can't do this on my own.", he thought

MEANWHILE.....

(Just lemme sleep a little longer. Wouldn't hurt, would it?)

Barry grumpily got up from bed. He puts on his sports wear and does some morning exercises and a 'quick jog' around town.

When he was done, he took a shower and puts on a jacket over a shirt and Jean. He walks up to the kitchen to prepare breakfast when he saw a red briefcase. It had a thunder logo on it.

"What's this. Who brought it?"

He unlocked it slowly, in case it was a trap.

"Woah!!", he gasped as he looked at the contents of the box.

Beside it was an holographic device. Barry turned it on and then Cisco's image appeared.

"You've found my present? Good. The new suit has been completed. I used my stealth device to deliver it to you. The suit has many new capabilities. It comprises of; [Carbon Fibre : Which reduces velocity of bullets

[Arc reactor : You can channel your lightning into this for a powerful blast of power. It's located at the c.h.e.s.t region]

It also has an equipped radar much like your sonar device but of a less powerful version"

"There's also a wristband inside the briefcase. The blue button can store the suit. So if you push it again, it automatically comes on. There's still a little more that is difficult to explain. We'll talk about it later."

He pushes the button on the bracelet and presses the button. It immediately sucks the entire suit. He puts it on and presses it again and the suit immediately comes on.

(Woah. This is really amazing)

***WHOOSH***

"Woo-ooh"

He speeds around town. He detects that his speed has increased by a little bit. He begins charging the arc-reactor slowly. When he got to the end of town, he released the beam of lightning in one go.

Rows of trees in a straight line becomes charred and destroyed. Nearby trees also experienced some damages.

"One more powerful weapon in my arsenal, I guess."

(Wait, what's up with the green light on the wrist band.)

He pushes the button. A screen popped up, showing the layout of his entire body. Je changes back and raced to Star Labs immediately.

STAR LABS

"I see you're getting used to your new suit", Cisco smiled looking at the wrist band on Barry's hand.

"Yeah", Barry said and changes into his suit.

"I didn't explain all in the hologram earlier. You will find out what the green light is for. Find out the rest by yourself. I'm tired from working on that suit.", he explained.

"Alright then. Thanks for the suit anyway.", he said and fist bumps him.

"How're you doing Caitlin?", Barry asked and looked back to find Caitlin wearing a red gown revealing her cleavage. She looks stunning in the dress .

The sensors on Barry's suit helped him to notice Caitlin as she entered the room.

"Isn't she the gorgeous one", Cisco whispers into Barry's ear.

"Yeah..... Yeah right", Barry replied eyeing him.

Caitlin walked up to him and sized him up looking at the suit.

"Looks good on you", she said.

"Thanks darling", Barry said and secretly glanced at Cisco.

As expected, he raised a brow in confusion.

Then Caitlin continued, "You promised me dinner some days ago, remember?"

"Oh.... That's right,... how about we make that breakfast?", he asked.

"That'll be nice", she replied.

He changes back and leads her outside.

"You didn't have to call me that in front of him. I think he's into me", Caitlin said sheepishly.

"Am I not allowed to call you sweet names anymore?", he asked putting his arms around her shoulder.

They took a taxi to Central City Park.

They had fun eating dinner and discussing. They enjoyed roller coaster rides, ate ice-creams and forgot they spent half the day in each others company.

Barry paid for the cotton candy and held Caitlin's hand as they walked out of the Park.

Then he sensed someone following them.

He held onto Caitlin's hand even tighter and picked up his pace.

Caitlin noticing his uneasiness, asked, "What's wrong? "

"Someone's following us"

He hides inside an alley and put Caitlin behind him.

A man in black suit began walking towards them slowly and he suddenly said, "Relax, I mean you no harm. I only wish to talk to you."

Barry's eye widen in shock as he closely looked closely at the man. Then he exclaimed,

"Bruce?!!!"

<The new suit automatically comes on like the one Iron man used in infinity war. But made of carbon fibre. It is a bright red design with yellow thunder stripes around the hand, waist and knee. It has yellow visors in the eye compartment.>
