Chapter 386 - Drop Red Water-II

Seoyeon put on her coat and she held her hands to each other, feeling the nervousness on her fingertips when from behind warmth engulfed her back.

Looking over her hand, she saw Jung Hwa's large hands enveloping her smaller hands. It was his way to encourage her and knowing this a smile appeared on her lips.

"Still nervous?" Jung Hwa questioned her with his gentle voice.

"A little," Seoyeon answered him. "Haneul had been wanting and waiting for this. Not only Haneul but Yeseul and the people who became the victim of the late Queen."

"And you are afraid you would mess it up?" Jung Hwa asked what was on her mind and slowly she nodded her head, feeling his head snuggling beside his face.

"Similar to that," Seoyeon replied back and she caught from the corner of her eyes how a smile was on Jung Hwa's lips.

"Don't be. When you move one step forward I will be beside you. If you mess up I will always be there to protect you," Jung Hwa convinced her.

Seoyeon smiled and she turned her body to meet him. "I trust you," she said, "How is grandfather's condition."

Jung Hwa's smile turned smaller and he answered, "He should be alright. He seemed to still stay in his sleep but JaeGil said that his condition is improving to the brighter situation."

Seoyeon smiled to hear that.

"Let's use you some gloves," Jung Hwa told her, pulling the black gloves from his pocket and slowly slipping them. "Do you still feel scared?" He asked.

Seoyeon saw his eyes staring at her hands as he pushed in her fingers inside the gloves.

Although Jung Hwa didn't complete what she was scared of, Seoyeon already understood what he meant immediately. "I was scared at first," she said, "Killing or not killing. Now those two is my only choices. But I—" when their eyes met, she widened her smile, "—I don't regret anything."

"You are strong. It's one of the qualities I adore from you. You never bend and you never break. People matters to you like you matter to yourself. It's a quality I admire from you. A quality I could not have and you completed in me by being beside me," Jung Hwa raised her fingers and planted a kiss. "Have I told you already how grateful I am to have you with me?"

"You had," she answered and leaning forward she kissed his cheeks. Pulling away, she saw Jung Hwa's dissatisfied expression.

"Not there, here," he pulled her wrist, having her body to bend forward toward her. As their lips pressed on each other, the fervent tongue tried to find one another, entangling and Seoyeon's hands on his shoulder tightened. When they pulled away Jung Hwa inhaled a mouthful of breath not because the kiss didn't felt good but because if he continue, he knew they wouldn't be able to stop.

He pulled her hand to his cheeks, a sigh coming from his lips. "I am dying to have you."

Seoyeon's heartbeat quickened on his words and she covered her mouth where her cheeks turning red. She never knew how pleasing it was to be desired by the person she loves.

"Anything else you are scared of?" Jung Hwa asked her. "I am here not only as the person who would stay forever with you your entire life but also an ear to lend to you."

Seoyeon stared at him, "I don't know." She was worried about their future and what the outcome of this fight would bring but she decided to not think about it.

They were not the one who weaved their fate. Fate goes on its own on their already made path where they were vulnerable to follow them.

"But I feel everything is going great," Seoyeon said to him.

Jung Hwa's grin reappear, "Then great isn't it?"

Yes it is, thought Seoyeon. But somewhere she was also worried as plans that goes well doesn't always end well.

Once they left the room fully prepared, Seoyeon and Jung Hwa vacate to Lee Young's office to rehearse their plan for the last time.

Passing by the broken walls, the image of two nights ago came back to her mind. Many lives had been lost as the cost of one's greediness. And she had to end the Queen Bee in order for lives to be safe.

Jung Hwa watched Seoyeon from the sideline. It was Seoyeon's fate that caused her to be here now, holding the most responsible than others as the catalyst but he couldn't help feeling sorry for her.

Unlike him who was born in the supernatural world with other vampires that he had gotten used to the idea of killing for survival, Seoyeon was not.

He wondered if by meeting her had changed her gentle and serene life. That being said, Jung Hwa didn't think he would release Seoyeon only for the reason that he had changed her peaceful life to a chaotic one as he knew well Seoyeon had made up her mind to walk on the same life as him the moment she accepted his love.

Jung Hwa had made up his mind the day he told her how deeply in love he is to treasure this woman for his entire life.

The door to Lee Young's office opened and Lee Young first look at the young couple's expression noticing how in the short amount they had grown. Children do grew up fast but it was his first time seeing by his eyes.

"Ready?" Lee Young questioned.

Both Seoyeon and Jung Hwa nodded in agreement. Jung Hwa grin lopsided, "I have never been more ready than today."

"Great," Lee Young answered. He could tell by his eyes, he though to himself. "But before all of that. As you two knew we are lacking personnel in the power part. We three can take care of the Mistress but there will be the woman whose name Ava. The Hunters told me about her being a dark witch as well."

Seoyeon nodded. Ava was indeed their other problem. But it appears that Lee Young was bringing the discussion to somewhere in a point.

"Which is why I have brought this person here to help us," Lee Young reached out his hand for the person who had been standing behind the screen divider to step forward.

Seeing who it was, Seoyeon's eyes widened.. "You," she whispered.
