Chapter 256 - Bloody Surprise-II

One thing for sure, Yu Sheen did not need to be reminded to run by the witch. He slide through the sides while the witch was still suspending his arms on the air to lift the furnitures. Taking advantage of being smaller, he managed to squeeze himself through the small gap between the man to leave through the door.

He was about to breathe out in relief when a loud crash landed from behind him. Turning his face, his feet that stopped froze just like his eyes did when seeing a large drawer hit the wall right behind him, creating a large dent.

How many time have he been thrown things by the witch? wondered Yu Sheen at the crucial moment.

He didn't have the leisure time to count how many times and quickly sped up as the witch continued to chase him. Laughter dropped, filling the entire hallways, even though it wasn't funny, thought Yu Sheen.

"I don't mind game like this. I have so much time to play with you, we will see who would get tired first. My bet is you." the man threw another furniture toward Yu Sheen.

The half vampire cursed in his mind, it was clear that if the witch had meant it, that furniture would have hit him, lasting a damage. Yet it, didn't which only prove how much the witch was playing with him, testing who would get tired first just like his words.

The enormous different in power was clear, and the half vampire couldn't do anything about it.

The chase went on for a full five minutes with Yu Sheen unable to catch a single break or breath. When he finally found some place to hide and take rest, the witch's reflection appeared on the window across him, "I'm getting tired of this chase." dropped the witch before throwing another large glass shelf toward him. Yu Sheen ducked but not enough for a sharp shard slashed his skin.

This time the attack finally did him some damage which meant the witch had truly gotten tired with their little game.

"W-Wait!" shouted Yu Sheen as he make a run, his feet was bleeding as he had stepped on a sharp glass shard on his way to avoid the witch.

"Are you clowning, vampire? You think I would stop and wait just because I told you to?"

"I am telling you that I have no business with you!" yelled Yu Sheen from afar, the witch had taken a leisure but fast approach to run after him, but Yu Sheen was like a mice, while it was easy to kill him who was weak, it was not an easy task to chase after him.

"What do you mean no business? You do have one right now, it's why we are playing a chase and run here."

Who was playing?! retorted Yu Sheen in his mind. "I don't have anything to do with you witches. I was here only to take something and leave! If your goal is to kill the people inside this house, you can leave me out of here!" Of course he sounded very pathetic at this moment, however, it wasn't his intention to say he didn't care about the dead bodies that sprawled all over the floor, left in a gruesome fashion. He asked because he wanted to know what the witches' attention.

From Jung Hwa, he learned how skeptic and careful witches are. Why would they attack a mere vampire house which is seen as a very large and notable movement that would involuntarily draw attentions when they had to be careful.

"Indeed my goal is to kill the vampires in this house, that lady of this family. Do you know her?"

Did the witch mean Che Hara? "I don't know! I told you I was here only to take evidence."

"Evidence?" The witch questioned back, seeming curious but he shrugged it off, "Whatever it is, you have seen our faces today, I can't let you leave here alive. Our order from the Mistress is clear and that is to kill whatever being inside this house."

Thankfully the witch was loose mouthed because he believed he would win, however, Yu Sheen was in a very tight pinch at the moment. Considering his situation now which clearly show how he was in the disadvantage, would it do him any good to know about the witches' goal to attack the house when he was soon going to die?!

Some people was in the corner of the corridor, hiding himself by pushing their bodies to the wall as if doing that would hide their entire body. When Yu Sheen saw them as he ran toward that direction, he yelled, "Run!" and the people scramble to leave.

As the people had run to the right side, Yu Sheen can't choose the same road out of concern he would be bringing death to those people. Therefore, he had to turn midways, but the witch had arrived on the other end of the corridor, much to his misfortune.

"Done running?" gutted the witch as if he was looking forward to see something amazing as it seemed to his eyes that the vampire had stopped to challenge him.

It wasn't that he had stopped running, but if he run, the witch would then chase and kill the people who he had warned to run earlier. "Do you think the Associate wouldn't do anything about this?" with the large commotion and people screaming for help, Yu re asked how come there was no one who had reported this incident. Even if they were not vampires, at least humans would have reported this incidents yet oddly enough no one seem to not care about any of what was transpiring here.

"A witchcraft had been casted to let everything in this house not to be seen or heard by people outside there, try to scream and see if anyone would hear to your plead?"

Yu Sheen would have dated himself to try, but he knew the result. The witch came to attack again by raising his hand above his shoulder. Yu Sheen felt his surrounding shake and he saw the large clock and tables begin to raise on air. The corridor was narrow and he couldn't run forward or backward, leaving him with only choice of facing the witch, but with the amount of furnitures that was aimed to him, he was like a trapped mouse with no way out!

Meanwhile, below the crescent blade of the dark witchess struck down toward Seoyeon. The witchess had a wide smile on her lips. The witch girl was unexpectedly stupid. In the first place, the witchess wouldn't let Seoyeon to work with her or the Mistress. She had held grudge against Seoyeon as the girl had used her potion to threw in on her, causing her beautiful skin to peel off.

Watching how obedient Seoyeon was after only a few word and sweet offer, the witchess's eyes spark with a grimly idea, waiting for the scene to be filled with sea of red and to hear the piercing scream from Seoyeon. The white witch ran with all his might when he saw the blade glimmer from the light above.

But instead, the person who scream in pain wasn't Seoyeon, it was the dark witchess whose blade stopped midway.
