Chapter 140 - Folded Picture-II

Seojun gave a nod to his sister, "I had something to do around here, a small chore and once I've finished it, I thought to come here since it's near."

Now that he mentioned it, Seoyeon found Seojun's nose red in color and his fingers were somewhat stiff and her eyes narrowed at it, "Did you waited out?" she asked, receiving Seojun's shy smile and when the door opened, she brought him inside.

"Isn't it cold outside? Take a bath the towel is inside." Seoyeon instructed her little brother as her feet continuously walking to bring the bag down.

Seojun however, didn't opened his shoes still standing still near the small entrance of the door, "Actually, I only came to see your face." It had been months and as siblings who had lived close to each other, he missed his sister and had come to meet her even if it was only for a brief while.

Seoyeon turned her head as she placed her hand on her waist. "What time is it? The stations are closed at this time unless you ride a taxi, you wouldn't be able to go home. Just stay here until tomorrow morning come."

"But I could go home without taxi," mumbled Seojun with his chin slightly tilted.

"Hm, what did you say?" asked Seoyeon who didn't caught well of his words as she had walked to the small kitchen.

"I think I will stay." replied Seojun. He looked up at her sister and thought that it had been long since he talked with her. Once he had took off his shoes, Seojun walked inside the house, bending his head when he was about to bump at the wooden shelf placed near the ceiling.

When they had dinner and Seojun offered himself to wash the dishes, Seoyeon laid on her bed, wanting not to do anything and her eyes shifted to the long case, "How is your school?" asked Seoyeon curiously. She didn't had the chance to attend college and was curious if it was a good place.

"It was normal." replied Seojun as he placed down the last plate to turn and walked toward the coach where her sister slept on to sit on the ground beside the couch, "It's nothing too different from high school. Only that most people come without uniform." Seojun saw Seoyeon looked a little out of it and asked, "Did your day go well, sister?"

Seoyeon turned her eyes at her brother, "It was perfectly alright, a peaceful day." replied Seoyeon, she didn't know how to tell her younger brother that her boss was a vampire and her friend had been turned to a vampire. Or how she had just found out that she wasn't a normal human being but a witch. Thinking it again, she sighed that gave her away to Seojun how she was lying. "Why did you ask?" Seoyeon questioned him.

Seojun weigh if he should tell her sister of how she had been signing non stop, "I just thought, you looked tired."

With the mention, Seoyeon felt a yawn escaping of her lips and brought her hand to cover her mouth, "Now that you are saying it, I feel tired."

"You should go to sleep," Seojun smiled at her and helped his sister to walk toward the bed, while Seoyeon had laid down, Seojun picked up the pillows he borrows to sleep on the small folded cushion placed beside Seoyeon's bed where he would sleep at.

Seoyeon saw Seojun moving to the floor, laying the bed, "Next month. Will you come with me to visit father and mother's grave?" It was their parents' death anniversary tomorrow and Seoyeon often comes to visit and clean their graves.

"Of course I will," replied Seojun as he turned off the lights in other room and sat on the cushion, "Sister, did you find anything strange these days?"

Seoyeon felt drowsy after eating the food Seojun made, her eyes kept in closing even as she heard Seojun's question and she replied, "Like what?"

"Hm, I don't know, maybe something that you found to be very surprising and not possible?" Seojun replied with a sense of unsure, his eyes kept on watching his sister who was now on her bed blinking every seconds not to sleep that instead became worse.

Seoyeon thought of his question, thinking of something that's he found very surprising and somewhat pulled a smile, "Jung Hwa. He could do magic tricks." answered Seoyeon before she turned her face away and completely fell asleep.

Seojun folded the quilt of his bed, his brows raising which was only one of them and he moved forward to where his sister was sleeping and waved his hand over her face, "Sister?" He called but to his reply, Seoyeon didn't budge. Since he was young, he knew that there was nothing that could wake Seoyeon even if it was an earthquake.

Seojun had only asked the question for his experiments only for Seoyeon to speak the name Jung Hwa and his eyes narrowed. Somewhere in the back of his mind he felt he had heard the name before but faintly. When he tried to recall and found nothing, Seojun stood up from the bed, making his way out and opened the long case he brought with him, opening it, his eyes fell on the long sword he hid inside. There was a going on his eyes as he saw the long sword that disappeared when he looked better inside and his hand went instead to take a small paper he stuffed.

Seojun took the paper out to smoothen the edge and folding lines of the paper to see the picture of him and Seoyeon when they were young. He had planned to bring and gave it to Seoyeon but now with his sister asleep, he thought he should leave it on her cupboard.

Once he placed the picture in the cupboard, Seojun's eyes suddenly stopped at the window near the cupboard where he heard a slight sound that was faint and almost inaudible. His eyes narrowed, opening the cupboard, his brown eyes fell on the shadow that moved from the window. Looking closer he heard a meow responding to him. Seojun saw nothing moved again to close the window when his phone he had put in silence vibrated in his trouser pocket.

He took out the phone and voice spoke to him, "I've been waiting here for two hours now, when will you come and go home now?"

"No, I'm sorry, my sister asked me to stay and I decided to stay, you can go home first." replied Seojun with his hand one placed inside his trouser pocket.

"You should have told me that earlier." The man on the phone clicked his tongue. "In any case, go back tomorrow we still have many to hunt. Don't be late." and the phone call ended.. Seojun closed the window, his steps then moved back to the bed beside Seoyeon and sitting there his eyes were still narrowing at the name Jung Hwa.
