Chapter 79 - Hold My Hands-III

His grandfather sighed and walked to lay his shoulders, "I know and I'm worried of that side of you. You don't know when it was danger that I'm worried you would fall into the wrong hands."

"I will not grandfather." Jung Hwa smiled an inclined smile.

"That's right! I forgot to ask! You, the woman you are meeting with is it not Wan Seulgi, the daughter of Wan Family?" Jung Hwa nodded silently and his grandfather shook his head with a hand on his forehead. "You should have told me this earlier! I almost married you off to the wrong person!"

"Mhm," Jung Hwa smiled wildly, "I will make an appointment later for you two to meet."

"That's not what I'm saying! But good! Bring her to me, I can't wait to see the woman who managed to take my grandson's heart!" with a whistle, his grandfather went out of his room.

The next bright morning, Han Seoyeon arrived in the company at early morning, at the time where she should arrive to the company. She breathed in although she was only about to enter her company for some reason, she was feeling giddy. She took a deep breath holding her bag where she had placed the dolphin doll she had on her bag which she didn't had the time to do so.

Arriving at the elevator, she greeted the people she knew with a smile and stopped to push the button.

"You came early again today." Han Seoyeon turned her eyes afar, her black eyes finding his handsome face pulling a sweet but mischievous smile.

Butterflies filled her stomach, being stared under his black eyes made her eyes darted around which Jung Hwa found to be adorable. "Sir Jung, good morning..." she trailed to see how on the collar of his white shirt was absence of necktie, leaving two button open.

"Good morning." he replied and saw her eyes looking down and grinned, "I have been having a trouble of sleep lately and as I told you before, I think keeping neckties in my office is better." That he did, Seoyeon thought. "Of course with your help." he took her hand slipping to her palm.

She looked at him surprised by his action when he then said, "You will help me, don't you?"

"Yes." She muttered her red color feels creeping up to her cheeks. Hearing her affirmation, Jung Hwa released her hand and let it stayed on the place it was. Then she pulled the doll from her bag and showed the doll toward him. "I think you forgot this last time in o-our date." Jung Hwa was her hand quickly shot up to her ears, pinching her earlobe so the red color wouldn't show, a habit she often did when she was embarrassed.

"But it's not mine." he said after eying the dolphin keychain.

Han Seoyeon inclined her head looking at the keychain with confused eyes. "It's not yours?" Then who?

Jung Hwa reached out his hand and kneaded her spread fingers, "It's yours. I forgot to gave the keychain to you and gave it back before you went back home. Take it, I will be happy if you do." Just as they spoke, the elevator door opened.

Seeing the elevator Han Seoyeon gulped, she still recall how frightening it was for the elevator to suddenly stop working and free falled. If it wasn't because of Jung Hwa's help she couldn't imagine what would happen to her. Though the elevator was build wide and bright, she could shake the image of an empty dark and narrow place where she was and her heart was eaten again by the fear she had when she was a child.

Jung Hwa enters the elevator only to see how Seoyeon had stopped her feet with her eyes staring at the elevator hesitantly.

"Are you afraid, scaredy-cat secretary Seoyeon?" Jung Hwa grinned at her, his words challenging her to enter the elevator.

Being the hard-headed and not wanting to lose, Seoyeon drew her brows and entered the elevator confidently, "Please don't call me scaredy-cat Mr. Jung. I have a proper name."

"That I remember which was why I had called you by your name too." Jung Hwa leaned his back to the edge of the elevator his arm was crossed in front of the empty elevator which had only Seoyeon and him now.

"But there is an adjective before my name." she argued.

"What I spoke was the truth, isn't it?"

"It's not!" Was what Seoyeon claimed but her body quickly stood right next to him as if it would be easier for her to clutch on him if something happen. Jung Hwa chuckled, his head shaking gently at her brave yet at the same time fearful antics. She was very adorable especially her plump pink lips that was purses tightly now look delicious to his sight and he had to hold himself from nibbling her lips. Thinking so, his tongue stick out to wet his dry lips.

"The doll," Seoyeon started breaking his contact from her lips go her eyes. In the elevator she felt somewhat crowded even when there was only the two of them and thought to fill the place with conversation she had in her mind. "Why did you choose dolphin?"

"Did you not like it?" she found his black eyes hidden beneath the brown hair he let down to his forehead to be light in color as the light hits.

"I do but why the dolphins specifically? There were many other animals."

"I didn't choose it out of a reason. It just caught my eyes and I decided on that one." Seoyeon could feel how intense he was by staring at her as he had spoken the words but it wasn't that she had just noticed his piercing gaze now but she had known it since she had arrived by her side.

"Is there something on my face?" she asked, she knew she shouldn't ask this but her heart just kept getting on drumming to her ears as he stared at her.
