"What?" I exclaimed.

No way could this be possible, she was me, I was her. We were each other.

"No, this cannot be happening.'' I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Well you'd better start believing it soon,'' her voice sounded like mine but with a darker tone.

"He'll never believe that your me.'' I told her.

"Oh he won't be able to get close enough to me to realize the difference, we'll be dead before he nears us.''

"Then how will he know it's you? Me? Us?'' I quizzed her.

"That's my secret and mine only.''

"But we are one and the same.''

"But I am of a newer creation, I may be you, and you may be me but we are entirely different persons.''

I stood up, walked over to her, leant over her ear and whispered.

"You'll never win, no matter how hard you try, you'll lose.''

She, me, it leant away from me, "Nice try Ingrid but we will win, we will get our vengeance, we will unleash Loki, and then we will kill him.''

I slapped her.

She stubbled back clutching her face.

"Bitch.'' She spat out a bit of blood onto the floor.

I guess I can hit hard.

"You're the real bitch here.'' I told her.

Doors behind me opened to reveal five Frost Giants, the one at the lead was instantly recognizable as the leader.

"Ingrid's.'' He spread out his hands in greeting, "I am Laufey.''

"My Lord, I am ready to perform my task.'' The other Ingrid knelt down, one arm across her chest.

"My, my you are a keen one.'' He chuckled.

He flicked his hand forward and two of the other guards came forward and grabbed me.

"Boys please escort Ingrid to the cell where Loki is so she may say her goodbyes.''

"What makes you think I won't tell him everything?" I laughed at him.

"Because if you do, you'll die right then and there.''

I gulped, and glared at him.

The tip of a needle reached my arm, I had about a second to react before the contents was injected into me. Within seconds I was on the floor.

"Send Loki my kind regards.'' He laughed.

Then there was nothing.

***

When I woke I was being dragged on the ground, two people were dragging me, one on each of my wrists. The rest of my body sliding loosely on the ground

I felt horrible, I bet I looked horrible.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

So many noises, and gods my head hurt. I felt like I was going to throw up.

I started to pull against my draggers. Kicking my legs, I would do anything to make sure Loki didn't see me.

I didn't want to face him, I didn't want to have to lie to him, but I didn't want him to suffer.

I was screaming, kicking, rolling. I probably looked like someone who belonged in an asylum, but I didn't care. Their grip was too strong, I couldn't escape.

Soon bars appeared on either side of me.

"Ingrid?!" I heard Ashleigh's and Loki's hoarse voice cry out.

I struggled even more, but it was no use.

They picked me up, so I was 'walking' more like being forced to walk like a drunk person.

The sound of a metal door being opened reached my ears.

My eye sight went blurring and then cold concrete floor in my face.

Crash the door came back across the cage. Bang another sheet of metal came blocking the view into other cells.

Then arms came around me.

Gentle.

Familiar.

Loving.

Caring.

Loki.

I fell into his embrace.

Just the two of us on this cold concrete floor.

"Ingrid, I thought I lost you.'' He whispered into my hair.

"You could never lose me.'' I pulled back and looked up into his eyes.

He placed his hand on my cheek, his other hand on my waist.

Then he kissed me.

It was deeper than before. More passionate. Just us. No one else.

"Are you guys getting in with each other?" Ashleigh's voice echoed from outside the door.

We split apart.

"Ashleigh!" I exclaimed, relieved to hear her voice.

"Yeah, it's me. Nice to know that you haven't forgotten me.'' She sighed.

"How are you doing?" I asked her.

"Well judging by your screams before much better then you.''

I jumped when Loki's arms came around me. His head snuggling into my neck.

He pressed small light kisses onto my sides of my neck.

This was all I needed for now.

All the happiness I needed.
