460 Wishing for others powers

Mika counted her bless that a ventilator shaft is right next to the control panel.

A little more and she would have been trapped.

Crawl through the vents using the map of the ship on the wristband, she made her way towards the navigation deck.

"Ugh, they couldn't clean this ship before take off!" Mika held up her hand that was covered in dust and grime. She looked down at her attire and didn't want to even think about all the dirt that is staining her once beautiful dress.

Putting up with the disgust she was feeling right now, Mika push through to it to her target location.

On the navigation deck of the ship, the female captain just received word from both her squadron leader and her technicians that the intruder escaped and successful hacked the ship's mainframe.

Caught in a bad situation, the captain ordered all squadrons to search the ship and ordered all crew members to return to their quarters until further notice.

Panicking, and thinking of the possible danger hidden onboard, most of the crew members who knew what was going on, listen to their captain and quickly hid for their own safety.

Several squadrons followed their captains orders and began searching every person and area on the ship looking for the intruder.

Up in the vents, Mika listen in on the captain's commands and watched as the squads stomps through the halls in search for her.

She didn't mind though, it gave her time to examine their navigation logs.

"Okay...my pretty, lets see what you have in this big head of yours to hide…" Mika read through all the records until finally coming to the recent logs and found where they were headed.

The Amara clan estates.

Hating that her gut is right, she locked down the mainframe and all control panels on the ship.

She then denied all access to crew members, so they wouldn't be able to leave the area they are in without her permission.

The last thing she needed to do was figure out was how to get the squadrons in an isolated area, and confine them until they landed in near the Amara clan estate.

She could cut off oxygen, but that would put herself at risk.

She could cut off the gravity monitor, but that would also put her at risk.

She could cut power to the ship, but that would most definitely put her at risk.

Everything she could think of to take down over fifty males and females soldiers, all put her life in danger as well.

While Mika contemplated on what to do, the captain watched as her crew and herself all lost access to control the ship. It was now in someone else's hands.

Her crew on deck began to panic as they began to report that they couldn't leave certain areas because the door panels wouldn't authorize entry.

"This is ridicules! How can we be lock out of our own ship!" The Captain banged her hand on her chair.

"Then do it!"

"We can't."

"Wha-Why not?"

"To override the mainframe's system, we need access to the ports in the cell block 8. Only by manually pulling the plug, reinserting and typing in the authorization code, will the override happen."

"Cell block 8…"

"Yes, but we can't get there since all the doors are lock."

Her second in command explained their situation.

"Is there no other way to get there?" Captain did not like being this helpless.

"Um, well…." Pulling the captain over to look at a map of the ship, the second-in-command pointed to the ventilation shafts.

"Here! If we can get someone, who knows how to restart the mainframe and can move through the shafts then we have a chance at stopping the intruder."

"Okay, okay... Go gather everyone here who knows how to manually override the mainframe and we will see who can fit inside."

"Yes, ma'am."

As the second-in-command ran off to gather all the crew on the navigation deck, the Captain peered at the ventilation shaft above their heads with a grin on her face.

Crawling through the vents shafts, avoiding all the soldiers as the made their way through the hallways. Mika needed to get herself to the one of the escape pods located on at the bottom of the ship.

Thinking about all her options, she came to the conclusion that the best choice would be to put everyone on this ship to sleep, and fly the damn thing herself.

However, without putting herself at risk is the biggest problem. To combat this, she looked up all the details concerning this vessel. Right down to its nuts and bolts.

Finally, she was able to find the escapes pods, which all come with their own oxygen tanks.

If she can get herself there, then she won't have to worry about cutting off supply to the ship and endangering herself.

Then she can stay safely inside the pod until they reach the Amara clan.

The only problem with this plan is that she needed to travel down to the lower half of the ship without being found.

Mikaela looked at the map on her wristband showing where she is at on the ship. She is right above the kitchen, which has put a hiccup in her plans. The ventilation shafts in the kitchen separate in different section, and unfortunately the section she needs to get to, requires her the leave the one she is in and jump to the next one across from it twenty meters away with crew members in between eating at tables.

"F**k!" She whispered as she looked across from her and then below at the dozen of crew and guards in the cafeteria.

What I wouldn't kill to have Celaena's gifts right now…. Mika though as she tried to figure out a better way to get around the crew members.
