Mika sat in her mind' space, focusing on getting her energy back in order so her body won't be left unprotected for an extended period of time.

She needed to get back to the dorms and then leave for the Amara clan. She didn't know what might be happening there while she was stuck in this place and it was frustrating for her.

Mediating and working out a plan to get out of the palace, Mika felt her body tremble with quick vibrations.

What the….?

Mika wanted to see what was going on, but her eyes wouldn't follow her commands.

Left wondering if she was about to face her doom, she kept trying to force herself to 'awake' up.

Outside the ship at the loading dock, everything was finally onboard the ship. All that was left was for the crew to board and take off towards their destination.

"Let's go. Ladies and gents, we have a schedule to keep!" The female officer, now captain of the vessel, shouted out.

All the crew members boarded the carrier and within moments it took off.

Mika waited and waited, but nothing seems to be happening to her. She finally let down her guard and continued to gather her strength.

It was a long time before she was able to regain consciousness, and by the time she did, she found out that the ship had already left the imperial palace.

Where the hell could the King be sending this vessel to?

Eager to find out what the King is planning, Mika located one of the ship's control panels to investigate its charted course.

Three minutes into her hacking into the ship's mainframe, the door to the engine room opened and five crew members entered.

Caught by surprised, Mika left the panel and quickly hid before she could be spotted.

Damnit...so close!

Back in her dark corner, Mika huddled down once again.

"Hey, should we really use this ship to do this errand?" A young female questioned.

"They higher ups wants us to… There is nothing we can do about it." One of her companions answered back.

"But just to pick up some honey...this doesn't seem odd to you?"

"It's not just to pick up some honey…" A young male looked over at the other crew members that came in with him before turning back around to move closer to the female, "We are going to basically decimate a whole clan."

"Wha-again!?" The young female shouted out, disturbed.

"Shhh!" The young male crew member covered her mouth before she could shout anymore, "Lower your voice! Not everyone is aware of the task ahead."

"Why? Why are we doing this again? I thought the last time was it…!" She whispered.

"Apparently not. Someone found the secret bases and ruined our all our experiments. We have no other choice."

"...but if we take another clan out, won't that raise flags with the citizens?"

"No, apparently we have an inside person."

"….we did." The young male's comment quieted the female's arguments. "With the chance to become more we have all made selfish choices, we can't condemn them for theirs."

The two walked off after finishing their routine checks.

Mikaela heard the conversation, and she couldn't help but think of the Amara clan.

She prayed they weren't going there, but her gut was telling her otherwise.

She needs to find out the location this ship is heading towards before it too late.

Once the crew members who enter the engine left, Mika immediately went back to hacking the ship's mainframe.

Up on the navigation deck, alarms went off has the ship detected Mika's intrusion.

"What is doing on?" The captain walked in.

"Someone is trying to take over the ship!"

"What? That's impossible... Everyone on this ship is our people, why would someone want to take over the ship?"

"I don't know, but they are about to succeed, whoever they are!" Another crew member announced.

"Locate them now!"

Hands moved rapidly across the keyboard as they tried to find where the intruder was hacking their system from.

"Got it! Engine room!"

"Squad 1, report to the engine room, we have an intruder! I repeat we have an intruder! Head to the engine room and immediately subdue!" Captain shouted out into the private comms.

"Yes, ma'am."

The Leader of squad 1 turned to his fellow soldiers, "Let's move out!"

Armed, they ran out of their quarters, straight down towards the engine room.

Mika knew that the crew onboard the carrier got tipped off of her hacking. Breaking the ship's firewall even with the help of her nanos was proving to be too difficult if she has to mask her footprints as well. So, she bit the bullet and it did openly.

Looking down at her wristband she knew she would have at most five minutes to break through and get away before the guards show up here.

"Ugh! Come on!" Mika pushed her fingers to type as fast she they can. Glacing down again at her wrist, she was three minute down and had two minutes left.

"Almost there. Just a little bit more…"

The door to the engine room swished opened. Several guards stepped through with guns out, ready for any sudden movements.

"You three go to the left...you three go to the right and the rest of you are with me." The leader of this group of guards issued his orders as the whole team slowly searched the room.

Mika heard the footsteps of the soldiers above her, but she couldn't stop before she finish.

Soon the leader could hear tapping and positioned his men around the area to surround the intruder.

The tapping eventually slowly down until it came to a stop altogether. On his count, his men were going to move.

"1.2….3!" The leader held up three fingers and every guard charged the area.

However, the space by the panel was empty, no one was there.

The guards looked around the area while the leader peered at the control panel.

A dancing character was left on the screen, wagging it's butt back and forth.

"Sh*t! Search everywhere!" The male yelled before radioing in to the ship's captain.

"We missed them."

"I know. They got in."
