417 It's Not Over 2

Over the next two days, Ailwin got a custom to talking and interacting with Lady Lyra and Lord Mano while taking private walking with Mikaela.

With secrets out in the open and the foreseeable fight with the King in the future, this would probably be the most relaxing time him would have any time soon.

On the last night before he and Mika are set to leave for the imperial palace, he requested for a quiet dinner with just the four of them.

Happy to oblige, Lyra planned for dinner to be served in her courtyard. The hours she spent talking with Prince Ailwin, showed her that the male is nothing like the rest of his family.

When he told her about his mother, Lyra felt even more so that she had judged he too harshly before.

The four of them sat in her private garden as jokes and laughter went around. This tranquil moment was felt by everyone, no one wanted it to end.

"My Lady..." Pia walked to Lyra's side, "...second young miss is here to see Mikaela, should I allow her in?"

The happy mood was immediately gone at the mention of Sienna's arrival.

"Let her in." Lyra said then looked at her husband. Most likely she here for her father than me…

"Yes, my Lady." Pia walked back out of the garden and ten minutes later she was guiding a scarred Sienna to them.

In minute, Sienna step into the beautiful garden, she wanted to gouged Mikaela' and Lyra's eyes out. However, holding in her loathing of the two she walked in and bowed to everyone present.

"Sienna, why are you here?" Mano hadn't seen her or her mother since the night Prince Ailwin broke Lady Delju's fingers.

He had told the healers to treat their wounds with care, but he couldn't bring himself to go see them himself. He was still far too angry and disgusted with their behavior.

"Hello, father...I came to ask a favor from Mikaela.and Prince Ailwin, actually." Sienna kept her head down, acting meek in front of Mano.

Hearing this, everyone couldn't help, but to be wary of what she was up to next.

"A favor?" Ailwin asked.

"Y-Yes, Prince Ailwin…" Seeing his face, made Sienna felt regret and also fright.

Regret that her plan didn't work and fright because she remembers his fingers around her throat.

"...I heard that you and my sister are leaving tomorrow, and I would like to ask if I can catch a ride with the two of you…?"

"A ride? To the imperial city?" Mikaela questioned.

"Yes. Mother can't take me because...." Sienna held up her hands, "...and I don't want to ride by myself." Sienna bowed her head, making herself seem isolated.

"It's up to your sister. I don't care." Ailwin passed the choice to Mikaela.

It's her warship…

Mikaela scrutinized Sienna up and down. She wanted to tell her to f**k off but she could see her father's eyes were wavering a little.

Sigh...dad, you sucker...

Rather than allowing Sienna more time to work on their father, she'll put her on their ship.

"En, we will leave here before sun rise, make sure you are ready." Mikaeka agreed.

"Thank you…" Sienna once again bowed to everyone before being escorted out of the garden by Pia.

When the two were gone from their sight, Lyra gave Mika a puzzled look, to which Mika just smile in return. Her mother doesn't have to worry she knew her sister is up to something.

Knowing his fiancée by now, Ailwin could guess that Mika has something up her sleeve for her older sister. The one thing he has learn since coming to the Amara clan, is to leave her to handle her family. It's what best for everyone that way.

When Sienna left the garden and was shown out of the courtyard, she glanced back at the beautiful residence with envy.

Hmph! How dare they sit amongst themselves eating and laughing while I have to scour and steal….I am a daughter of the Amara clan too! She wanted to be the one to sit with Prince Ailwin in there.

The hatred her eyes bled out as she pictured the four people laughing at her plight.

I'll get back at you all…just wait.

Stomping off, she went to see her mother about a barrel of honey.

Inside a bedroom, Lady Delju sat at her mirror with her maids coming out her hair and helping her to undress for the night.

Since her first meeting with Cohnal, Delju has been meeting up with him as per their agreement.

During the day she would doll herself up to go see him and at night she would reminisce about their time together.

When Sienna walked into the room, she saw her mother in a daze as she stared into the mirror.

"Mother...?"

Delju gave no answer, she just coninued staring at herself in the mirror.

Impatience, Sienna banged on the vanity table.

*Bang!*

"Mother..!"

"Ah!" Delju jumped as she snapped out of her daydream.

"Mother, are you listening to me!?" Caught by surprised, Delju finally noticed her daughter standing beside her.

"O-Of course, Sienna..."

"Tch! Did you get it!?"

Looking around at her maids in the room, Delju gestured towards the door "You are dismissed."

With the servant gone from the room, she looked at her daughter and shook her head at her tack.

"Learn when to speak. Just because they are servants doesn't mean they won't talk." Delju warned.

"Do you have it or not?" Sienna ignored her mother's warning. She didn't care about the servants, as she felt she would be far away from here before her father could do anything to her. All she wanted to know was if the honey was prepared.

"Sigh..." Delju shook her head, "Yes."

"Where is it!?" She grabbed her mother by the arm.

"Relax, Sienna. The barrel is already loaded onto one of the house shuttles. You can take it for your meeting tonight." Delju pointed to the key on the table.

Realizing that her mother actually did something right for once, Sienna drop her worries.

"....Thank you."Snatching the keys off the table, she left the room.

With everything in place, all Sienna had to do was trade the honey for the admission letter. She has already sold enough items from the clan to support herself once she gets to the temple.

Feeling like things are finally looking up in her life, Sienna went to deliver the honey.
