306 Calaena's Past... 2

Mika didn't believe in coincidence, things were lining up too simultaneously for her liking. She felt like something was baring down on her, but she didn't know what.

"I need to go to Rowood City." Celaena stated again, staring into Mika's eyes, is this why I felt this pull when I first saw her?

Remembering back when she first saw Mika, not at the academy but on the streets of the capital city shopping district. There was something about Mika that drew her eyes. Something in the back of her head that said to stay close to her…

Following after Mika and Saavi as they shopped around, she overheared them talking about attending the Imperial academy. Seeing this as the prefect opportunity to find out what was making her so attracted to Mika, Celaena didn't hesitate in informing her brother of decision as she packed her bags to leave for school.

When she arrived at the imperial academy, she waited days until she spotted Mika, Saavi and Jonas exiting their aircraft. Making sure to no let Mika out of her sights, Celaena quietly observe their every actions.

At the test training grounds, she was keen on seeing Mika's gifts. She thought perhaps it was her gifts that was driving her to feel this connection towards her, but when she saw Mika's gifts was water, she felt irked and confused.

In a bad mood, she changed the match up of the dorm rooms so she and Saavi could share a room instead of Mika. She knew it was petty, but she had hoped to get some information out of her friend.

Little did she know that asking a single question would lead to Saavi talking the whole night about Mika. The thing she could thinl of to stop the conversation, was to ask Saavi about her bedding. She must admit she did like it, but not enough to leave right then and there to get one.

Least to say when Mika showed up at their door the next day, she couldn't stand to see her face. Which resulted in their rocky relationship in the beginning.

Now looking at Mika's face, Celaena somehow knew she would understand her.

"Okay." Mika agreed. "We'll leave after I speak to Ailwin."

"Mikaela…"

"Saavi, don't try to talk me out of it."

"I'm wont...but I want to come too." Saavi raised her head and stated strongly. The last time young miss was in danger I couldn't do much, but this time I have been working on my skills. I know I won't hold anyone back.

"Me too." Hycis and Jonas piped in from behind Saavi's figure.

"No." Mika flat out refused their participation.

"What! Why not?" Three voice complained.

"If too many of us leave it will catch people's attention, especially since we always hang out together." Mika explained, looking away from their sad puppy eyes.

Celaena nodded her head in agreement with Mika's logic. Besides, we aren't going to play around, this is serious.  And she could understand why it was the same for Mika.  However, she couldn't understand why everyone else wanted to go?

*Beep!*

Mika ran over to her computer, a message was there from Ailwin.

-Kaze said you know how to get communication back up? Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.

-I might, but first I need to know how bad the problem is over there...

-Bad…

-Is the panel board at least still operational?

-No, completely destroyed.

-...then we will have to build a new one.

-How?

-Steal one.

-…...

-Do you want communications up or not!

-Okay, I'll comm you back in an hour.

-En.

"What did he say?" Celaena waited on pins and needles as Mika typed.

"We are going to get communications back up over there it should take no more than three hours at most. If after we do, I'll let him know of our travels…" Mika sighed in frustration, just to have that short conversation they had to use Kaze as a middle man to sent the messages back and forth.

Ailwin also sighed, this is tiring .

He didn't bother to ask Governor Kelim about getting a panel board, Ailwin just told Braeden to take some of their men back to the Bizana clan and steal their panel board.

"Aww man....don't send me back to that stinky house…" Braeden grumbled. He nose recently cleared its passages of the stench and now Ailwin wants to sent him back in.

"Go."

"Aww damnit…" Braeden dragged his feet down the hallway to gather up some of their soldiers.

With all that taken care of Ailwin turned to look at Ruven, "Ready?"

"Yes, s-sir." Dressed in clean clothes, Ruven led the way from his room to his colleague's quarters.

"Here it is, sir." Ruven pointed to a closed door.

"Knock."

"Yes." Lifting his hand, Ruven delivered three light taps to the door.

They waited, but no one answered.

"Knock harder."

"Y-yes." Using more force in his delivery, Ruven knocked three more times but still no one answered the door.

"Where is he?"

"I-I don't know... someone should be in the room right now."
