Chapter 193: More Journey

The group peered in between the babul trees and walked forward, looking for a place to stay—it had been quite a few days since the group had not seen the suns, only grey clouds hung over them, obscuring the way of the sun to the earth, and as they were inside the forest, under and between the shadows of colossal trees, it looked even darker for them.

This part of the forest was filled with babul trees that made their path a little slow. Not too slow nonetheless. They could easily form a path between the trees by using their weapons. It was not so hard—though the denseness of the forest slowed them down, it could not block their path.

After digging their way forward, the group saw a view that brought a brief smile to their worn-out faces, covered in dust and filth—there was a lake, not too big, but filled with clean and pure water, clean enough to peer to the bottom of the lake. Ayaan saw few animals, growling and snarling at his group around the lake, ready to lunge at them and torn into pieces. However when Rebecca released her tremendous energy of Pupa Realm, they shivered and trembled and fell over the ground, on the paws, and as if bowing down to the strong.

Ayaan went forwards and twisted the neck of a bull that looked rather good and had quite a bit of meat on its body, enough to fill the stomach of the group, for the time being, at least—and as Rebecca retracted her energy, all the beasts scattered in a frantic manner. Not staying even a second more. The group looked at the blue water and licked their lips, and everyone went to the water, taking water in hallowed palms and washing their dusty faces, and smudgy hands.

After that Ayan and Akash stayed behind, to make lunch for the girl while ladies went to take a refreshing bath in the lake. Though the lake wasn't too big it was still spread in more than two hundred diameters. There were quite blind spots present there. The girls went to wash themselves in one of those blind spots, afraid that Ayaan would peek at them. Though others have no concern about it, Leafwhisk was different. She was not Ayaan's woman after all.

While Ayaan and Akash prepared dinner, the girls enjoyed the refreshing water of the lake. Bathing until their heartfelt light, and all the dust and smudges vanished, and soft and white and beautiful skin revealed itself underneath.

"Nice smell" when Ayaan indulged in his cooking and garnishing the pieces of meat over the campfire, a sweet voice interrupted his train of thought. "I am sure it will taste delicious."

Ayaan lifted his face and a beautiful face entered his gaze—Noor stood with a charming smile on her red lips while her silver hair tied into a beautiful round bun behind her back. She wore a white silky dress that revealed a nose bleeding cleavage over her chest.

Ayaan looked at her deep cleavage and felt a rush of hot blood in his body and swallowed and gulped in excitement, but then he hurriedly looked away, two little guys were still present there, 'damn them!' he cursed but turned towards another woman of the group, but another beautiful sight greeted him—all of them wore the same type of clothes and same hairstyle. He could see everyone's cleavage quite clearly, even Leafwhisk's. Alas, he did not dare to look at her hot boobies.

"Alright, food is ready!" he squeaked hurriedly, to distract himself.

Everyone nodded and sat excitedly on the mattress, ready to tear the meat down, as it had been a long time since they had eaten peacefully. Much less, time for a bath that they had just enjoyed. After that nothing important happened and everyone went to their tents after eating, no Heaven Rank beast came to disturb them nor any other creature dared to approach this place, as Rebecca had already scared the shit out of them.

The night also went without anything major, and the group readied themselves for the further journey. As they walked they realised that Babul trees had become lesser and lesser and Teal trees became denser and many other shrubs and bushes along with them. After walking for more than two hours there were no Babul trees and then, only teal trees everywhere.

Ayaan also saw Leafwhisk running from one place to another, looking at all the herbs she could find useful. Sometimes she cackled like manic while other times she cursed like a vulgar scoundrel. Even Ayaan face-palmed himself in embarrassment.

Nonetheless it took about twelve hours more to cross the shit hole called Green Forest. As the group looked into the horizon and saw a vast land ahead of them, an exciting look found a way to their faces, and lips curled into a grin. "We are out of that damn place as well," Ayaan said. "Now it's time to go to the capital, and see what the Emperor has to offer." He curled his lips into a disdainful sneer when he talked about this so-called emperor. After all, he had seen all the atrocities and crimes and jungle rule of the emperor and had no good feelings for him.

It was already past evening and the group also had no steed with them. Therefore they decided to spend the night here and embark on the journey early in the morning. So the time passed and the group moved towards their destination—the capital. Unaware a few people had left the August Capital in their search.

Although they had decided that their next stoppage will be the capital—the capital was still quite a distance away. Further than they expected. There was also the Tolton River to cross in between that flowed around the Capital, along with the Charmed Canal. Only then they would reach the August Capital.

However there was something more resisting and even dangerous that fled towards them in the speed of the hawk and ferocity of the tiger, ready to chew them down to the very bone.
