Chapter 102: Demon Released!

When the king died, everyone lost their fighting spirit. Ayaan didn't even look at those people. Anyone who was in the conspiracy of Doham was already dead. And Ayaan didn't have any interest in massacring everyone in the city.

Ayaan looked at the corpse of the king and his attention stopped on the hand of the man, more specifically on the ring in his finger.

The skeleton sensed Ayaan's intent and tried to take out the ring from the finger but it was stuck. Therefore, the skeleton tore the finger for retrieving the ring.

All this time, no one said a thing, they were so horrified that they couldn't produce a single word at the moment. The fear of death was a frightening thing; anyone would lose his mind, facing death.

The undead army had already stopped its massacre.

When the skeleton retrieved the ring, it went towards the place where Ayaan was hiding.

Immediately, every undead also went in that direction, as if attracted by a magnet.

It had already been more than an hour since the battle started; therefore, the invisibility fruit had already lost its effect about more than half an hour before. And people could see the shadow standing in the corner of the street, however, they couldn't see the face of the man.

Ayaan took the ring from the skeleton and sent the undead to his space ring. After that, he did the same thing to his other undead, placing every one of them inside the space ring.

Before people could see who the man was, he was already nowhere to be found. However, no one spoke for a long time. They were in too much shock, terrified and fearful that the undead army would again appear and start massacring them just like before.

….

"Plop!"

"Screech!"

A space blade was produced by the knife, cutting the pincer of the scorpion with ease. The scorpion let out a mournful screech, but the group of three didn't give it any chance. Isobel flicked her and a needle out towards the scorpion.

By the time, the scorpion saw the needle, it was already too late to dodge.

"Puchi!"

As the needle entered the body of the scorpion, its body turned into a puddle of a dark green blood — blood was the only evidence of the scorpion's existence, other than the blood, nothing remained.

All the three were drowned in the sweat and small wounds also could be seen. From this one could imagine that the fight was rather intense, if they weren't acting in a group, there was no way they could take down the beast.

"This was the strength of the peak level Archmage!" Noor said while wiping the sweat from her temple.

However, afterwards, she looked at the white stone which was shining with an unusual lustre not far away, "At last, we were able to find the holy stone's part. Now Ayaan could complete his legacy. From now on, he will become powerful. I want to see Leafwshisk's face at that time, hmph!"

Isobel and Rebecca smiled when they saw her pouting expression. They knew she still held a grudge against Leafwhisk, because she talked to Ayaan so rudely, but they also knew that Leafwhisk did everything for Ayaan. Though they also didn't agree with her methods.

Rebecca walked towards the stone and placed it inside the space ring easily. She looked at the other two girls, speaking, "Let's go."

Other two nodded in understanding and crushed their tokens with Rebecca, disappearing from the desert and leaving only puddles of blood in the sandy ground.

....

Leafwhisk was waiting for the group eagerly while walking left and right in anticipation.

Suddenly, space trembled and a portal opened in the air; slowly a figure walked out of the portal with a calm expression.

Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan in surprise, speaking, "I didn't expect that you would be the first to come. Did you get the thing or you had to run away from them to preserve your life?"

Ayaan looked at the lady emotionless before chiming, "I am not fast but your students are late. I see you're not putting much effort in their training."

"Really?" Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan in disdainfully, she didn't know how he completed his task, and she really didn't care; the thing which matters were the results in her eyes.

"Did you already assimilate with a piece of the stone?" the lady asked, looking at the man in front of her excitedly.

"Not yet," Ayaan replied, he wasn't feeling secure in the eastern continent; therefore, he didn't assimilate with the stone immediately. He wanted to complete the process inside the tower.

"Alright, do it now." an eager expression could be seen on her face.

Ayaan didn't reply and took out the space ring. The ring wasn't of the highest level and anyone could use it even if the owner was alive, so without any effort, Ayaan was able to use the ring.

Suddenly, a white piece of stone appeared in his hand. He didn't take out the holy stone in the Vigon kingdom because he was afraid that something amiss could happen. But now, was the time to assimilate with a stone.

Just when Ayaan took out the egg-like stone, it shone with a white brilliance, illuminating the entire seventh floor. Afterwards, it rushed into Ayaan's body.

Ayaan's consciousness trembled in excitement when it sensed the existence of another piece of holy stone or more clearly it was the excitement of the holy stone itself which was hiding inside Ayaan's consciousness.

The newly arrived stone didn't stop anywhere, rushing directly towards the consciousness and disappearing. Immediately, Ayaan's consciousness produced that strange energy throughout his body.

"Arghh!"

Eventually, Ayaan heard a miserable scream. However, after a single scream, there wasn't any cry. Everything fell in an eerie silence.

Now, Ayaan had more information about the system or the holy stone; so he was able to guess the source of the scream. It seems the holy stone was suppressing the demon even further which was hiding in his consciousness.

The strange light covered Ayaan's entire body for more than fifteen minutes, only after that, he opened his eyes. He felt rather refreshed. His eyes were shining with unusual lustre.

Ayaan looked at Leafwhisk who was standing not far away and smiled confidently.

However, at this moment, another portal opened and three people walked out from it. The stone which was in Rebecca's hand suddenly trembled. Similarly, Ayaan also felt the tremor inside his body.

It didn't take much time for him to understand what was going on.

"Fuck! It's the time!" Ayaan shouted, attracting everyone's gaze, but then, the stone on Rebecca's hand shot towards Ayaan.

Before Ayaan could even close his eyes, another stone shot from inside his body, dashing towards the new stone.

"Hahaha! Finally, I am free!" a burst of sinister laughter resounded inside Ayaan's head, making him dizzy.

Inside Ayaan's consciousness, a colossal dog appeared; however, it was injured, wounds were visible all over its body. Anyone could tell that it was in a terrible state before. But the demon didn't care about its injuries. The beast sent its energy inside Ayaan's blood vessels.

"Huh?" a surprised voice escaped from the beast's mouth, but then, it sneered disdainfully, "You think that such a thing could stop me from acquiring this body? Once I lost my chance of acquiring the elementless pagoda, but today, I am going to get it no matter what. Hahahaha."

Outside everyone looked at Ayaan in surprise when they saw that he closed his eyes, but they also remembered the thing which Leafwhisk told them, 'When the last part of the holy stone appears, Ayaan has to fight with the demon.'

All the three girls looked at Ayaan nervously. Noor couldn't hold herself and asked with her trembling voice, "Is ever-everything going to be alright?"

"Of course, everything will be alright. Who do you think Ayaan is? No one could defeat him!" Isobel said while gritting her teeth. It seems as if she was trying to calm herself down, by those words, instead of her sister.

Rebecca looked at Ayaan worriedly. At this moment, he could rely only on himself; there was no one to help him. If he wasn't able to defeat the demon inside himself — he would die and someone else would control his body.

As they thought the possibilities of Ayaan being controlled by a bloodthirsty demon, their bodies trembled at the possibility.

"What should we do?" Rebecca looked at Leafwhisk before asking nervously.

Hearing Rebecca's question, everyone turned towards Leafwhisk. The lady smiled bitterly and shook her head before replying, "At this moment, only one person could help Ayaan, and that is, Ayaan himself. If he couldn't defeat the demon in the fight of will power, he would definitely die."

"No, Ayaan will not be defeated by that demon!" Noor shouted and her eyes turned red. She was a naive and emotional girl after all.

Leafwhisk shook her head without speaking anything and turned towards Ayaan solemnly.

Suddenly, the dark energy started to cover Ayaan's body, turning his skin dark black!
