24 SHE's A MISTRESS

Agnes POV:

I guess I'm lucky &

yes I am. Jairus is quite caring and a loving person. Though when I met him he was known as a notorious play boy. But then he fell in love with me. I don't know how he went through that change but now he is exactly___my ideal mate.

And I'm lucky that he is mine, though many girls came up to have him but he kept his eyes on me. And pushed every single girl. Many called me names even at the company gossips started that perhaps I'm a gold digger. Being a secretary I hit up my boss and now I'm enjoy luxurious life. But obviously that all is false.

It's my 5th month going on and Jairus has been too protective. He carries me downstairs in bridal style daily, cooks me breakfast before going to the company. Dad I mean Mr. Ezekiel stayed a month with us & wanted to stay a little longer but his second wife called him and he went back to Australia.

We did a lot of fun in this month, Dad was a jolly person with a great sense of humour. He wasn't strict as I imagined instead he treated me like his own daughter. We went to movies, had dinners together, he told me various things about Jairus. During talking I'd see tears in his eyes, he was really missing his wife

(my aunt) but acting tough as a great billionaire should be. But deep down he was still standing at the spot where she left him and now the only thing he was doing __waiting.

Jairus said it was a surprise and Agnes was filled with excitement. Though he used to give her many presents often. A ring, roses, cakes, bracelets, unexpected dinners,dresses and taking her to shopping.

Agnes pregnancy was going fine without any compilations and pains. So this time he said he is taking her to the company.

It was odd ___the silence.

There was no one.

Passing by the information desk Caitlin wasn't there.

Where everybody went ?

Jairus took her to the conference room. The glass was decorated with pink balloons !

And something was written

"WELCOME"

Agnes pushed the door and went in, everything was in pink and all staff was gathered and seated there. And media men were standing with their cameras facing the dice.

Maybe an important meeting was going on.



Jairus held her hand and walked towards the stage.

And stood in front of the mic. Agnes was standing besides him, their fingers interlaced.

"Ladies and gentlemen and the media person I'm glad that you all came on my call. Today I'm here to announce an important matter. No__ not related to my business but yes to my personal life. This beautiful lady standing here with me is my fiènce."

The whole crowd began to chatter and whisper. The hall was shocked upon the news. Even Agnes wasn't expecting this. Jairus again began.....

"Yes you all heard right. This is Agnes Regena my fiènce and I'm here to announce our marriage which will be held in 2 days."

The media person asked many questions to him related to his past affairs & Genevieve. Everyone was sure that Jairus will marry her. He honestly answered all those. The questionnaire ended and the hall door opened again. Someone entered. Well suited and confident.

A lady was with him.

The man walked towards the couple, Jairus wasn't expecting him.

The man waved to a boy and he brought some chairs. The lady sat opposite to him. Agnes and Jairus together on side.

The old man addressed the whole crowd to be-seated.

This was another shock for whole staff and world that Mr. Michael Ezekiel came to meet his son !

He ordered the lady to start the interview. And the whole crowd was eager to listen. The lady asked various questions. About their relationship,  the fight, why he abandoned his son, and the current issue related to vampires.

Michael Ezekiel smirked and faced the camera, this was the exact topic he wanted to talk about.

"Actually I'm the favour of this pact as all other 85% people are. Vampires are living between us since a long time when we didn't knew about them. They haven't harm us.

Blah blah blah....."

He gave examples of many people how vampires saved human lives, how they had relationship and children.

The crowd clapped as they accepted everything.

"Vampires are no threat to humans and vice versa.

And now I want the world to know that my son Jairus Ezekiel is also a half Human and half vampire."

No one uttered anything.  Maybe the world was now agree and accepting this change. Michael smiled upon his victory.

"His mother and my wife REMORA EZEKIEL was a royal blood vampire."

He stressed and said her name out loud. A media person questioned.

"Then sir who is your current wife with whom you secretly married ? And where is Mrs. Remora ?"

Michael knew how to answer this question. And he was waiting, he chuckled.

"Haha who said she's my wife ? She's my mistress. My wife Remora left me due to some unknown reasons. I was shattered and kept Julia as my mistress. Though I've a child with her, another son. I know you're listening me Remora. Please come back. Your man is waiting for you. Come and claim me."

The last lines he said eye to eye with camera. He mentioned Julia as his mistress which brought her shame as she always saw herself as his wife.

He never married her actually, his other son was illegitimate. Julia's dreams were shattered and she was brought down to the ground.

The whole crowd was cheering. Some cried. Amd other clapped. Michael dried his tears as Jairus hugged his father thanking him. Michael returned to the lady who was interviewing him and took the mic from her.

"As you all are happy. I want to share my one more happiness with you all. I Michael Ezekiel is going to be grandfather. My daughter-in-law- to-be Agnes Regena is bearing Jairus' child. Like my wife she's also a royal blood. And my grandchild will be  both halves like his father. Cheers !"

Laughter was echoing in the hall, happiness was surrounding every single person. The air was filled with the fragrance of eatables. And the party started.

There was no fear, no disgust, no hatred. Perhaps the new age was already started.

The couple danced along the romantic rhythm of music. As other men chose their partners. Jairus was holding Agnes by waist during the dance. And she gave him a 'thank you' look. Which he answered with a liplock.
