23 I SHALL RETURN TO MY HEAVEN

The couple came back after dinner and Mr. Michael immediately went to sleep, obviously tired after so long flight. The duo took advantage of the privacy and sneak into their room from the lounge.

"You never told me about yourself, now everything makes sense."

Jairus pushed her against the close door of their room after entering. Playing with her hair strand he whispered.

"You never asked boss."

Agnes wrapped her palms around his neck and replied in sensuous tone, provoking him.

"You're a complete mystery Miss. Secretary."

He kissed her neck hungrily licking to the center and then moving towards her earlobe. He loved to listen her moan.

"Jairus....."

Agnes said, panting.

"Sshushh"

He lifted her as she wrapped her legs around his waist and Jairus carried her to the bed.

His hands pressing her thighs as she laid down and he stayed above her, tasting her lips.

Jairus' naughty hands crept into her shirt,

his fingers wandering onto her tummy. He gently placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Agnes I'm sorry."

He sat straight so Agnes. Sadness shaded his face or perhaps guilt.

"Agnes I really am sorry. I shouldn't have left you in the very first place after that night. I should've contacted you. I'm sorry."

He paused and held her hands, rubbing her knuckles gently.

"I've played and dumped many girls before after spending nights with them. But you're the first one I came across who was chaste. And after that night I regretted that___I stole that precious gift from you. But I swear I changed myself, a change completely out of guilt. And I never had any mistress after that night. I love you and I really want to cherish you."

Agnes was smiling with tears in eyes. Her lips mumbled something.

"You know honey when I arrived at your company I didn't knew it was you. I was told that the man was a young billionaire so I made a list of them and started my hunt for the right man. So that I'd kill him for doing such a thing to me. But....."

She was interrupted.

"What ?

Kill me ?

You came to kill me !"

Jairus exclaimed.

"Ah yeah"

Agnes giggled at his expressions.

"But I didn't okey. You're fine and in all pieces."

She gave a stroke on his shoulder.

"Yeah you didn't as you fell for such a handsome man."

He brushed his hair back in a proud manner. Upon which Agnes laughed.

"And I was so stupid. A jerk who thought that you came for money or some other big motive. I wasn't aware that you don't remember me. I shouldn't have told you that."

He teased her pouting like a child who did a mistake and was regretting.

"You idiot !"

Agnes pushed him and he fell from the bed. She jumped & grabbed his collar.

"Don't you dare to push me or to leave me Mr. Ezekiel. I love you & you've to be with me."

"Relax sweety. I'm yours. Always."

He sat while having Agnes still on his waist.

"I love you wife."

"I love you too husband."

And they both kissed again.

The caster began.

"People have started to accept the fact that every being deserves equal rights either a vampire or a human. A positive feedback is received regarding the peace-pact & all other conditions. Here we've a couple a human girl & a vampire man. Let's interview them.

Blah blah blah..."

Genevieve was listening and her blood boiled upon the news. Everything was going in the favour of Agnes. She hated the idea of 'them being a couple'.

She wanted Jairus all for herself. And could do anything to have him.

She decided to travel to US at once. She wanted to reveal Agnes' true identity. So that Jairus will leave her & she'd hold him. Genevieve knew her father wouldn't allow her to leave till next week. So she planned to sneak out.

Somewhere in US a lady was happy with the news.

As she smiled while taking the order of a couple, in a restaurant.

"The right time is coming.

And I shall return to my heaven !"

As her red eyes glowed with joy and the corners of her lips reached to her cheeks.

They both were watching a movie. Jairus was laying hugging her. And Agnes facing to his side, her tummy in between both.

Their unborn child was the reason, who brought them together. They're destined to meet.

"Uum....Jairus."

"Yes honey."

He looked at her. Hesitation was visible on her face.

"What is it honey ?"

"Actually Jairus I came here in human world a few years ago on a student tour. And I ..."

She trailed off.

He scooped her face and assured her.

"It doesn't matter honey as long as we are together."

Agnes sighed and spill the beans.

"Actually I felt infatuation towards a human.

Blah blah blah..."

She narrated the whole part with a pause. While Jairus listened carefully and calmly.

"Thomas Martin. That was his name. I came to know that he married his neighbour & has a daughter now."

The last part hit Jairus.

"What ?

Thomas Martin."

"Ah ! Yeah. Do you know any ?"

"Yeah, remember that girl from my company, Genevieve. Her father's name is Thomas Martin. And that old man used to narrate a story often about how a vampire girl fell in love with a human boy."

Jairus was recalling everything.

"I thought that was his make-up story but it's true. That man still remembers you in good words."

He let out a laugh.

Agnes stared at him in confusion.

"What ?"

He questioned.

"You aren't angry or anything ?"

She stated her thing.

"No. Why should I ?

You felt an attraction towards him. And all went wrong. Then you met me  and fell in love, we're destined to be together. We are mates Agnes. And that was past it doesn't bother me."

"Thank you Jairus."

All could be seen in her eyes.

"Ow you silly. Come here."

He wrapped her in his strong embrace.

And they stayed like that for some minutes feeling that lovely moment and living it. They vowed to cherish and love each other.

Jairus placed his hand on her baby bump and whispered close to her ear.

"My daughter is gonna be like you, beautiful & intellectual. Bossy and authoritative like me."

He giggled at the last sentence.

"How do you know it's a girl ?"

She blushed upon her own question.

"Don't know. Just a feeling."

And he kissed her.
