14 HE IS A BASTARD

With her arm along his

shoulder Agnes dragged Jairus to the couch in his cabin.

He was heavy for her to carry, that lifting and dragging made sweat popped out. The beads were visible on her forehead. How odd it was for a vampire to stress out while carrying a human !

Vampires specially the royal ones are the symbol of power & strength.

He was unconscious when Agnes almost threw him on the couch. And straightened her back which was aching now by his unusual weight !

Agnes sat near by him in the table and opened his coat and then shirt buttons. Jairus earlier said he was burning inside so Agnes acted upon to cool that sensation. She looked at his face__devilishly handsome features. With wet hair kissing his forehead, pink lips waiting for someone to feast upon !

She was feeling opposite to Jairus' conditions. And stood up to fetch her coat earlier placed on the back of her chair.

Her back was in front of his view when Agnes turned, Jairus held her wrist and pulled her closer. Shocked upon his doing she fell on his bare chest. Didn't said anything as he wasn't aware of his own acts in that unconsciousness.

Agnes placed her head on his chest close to heart & tended to listen. When Jairus cried in his low voice. Tears were stranded in the corners of his eyes.

"D-don't go __mom. Please don't leave me. No__no don't kill my mom !"

He started to panic as he held her hand & unintentionally squeezed it which made Agnes wince in pain.

"No__Noooo MOM."

Agnes could imagine his pain as she too had lost her mother at early age.

When Jairus wokeup Agnes was gone. The cabin was silent and it was about evening. He sat up straight rubbing his eyes__after a sound sleep he was feel better.

At the very moment the door opened with a creak and Agnes entered.

"Good evening boss. Let me drop you home."

She gave him a beaming smile. And both headed towards the parking. During the way to his home Jairus kept his view outside the window__sighing.

Agnes POV:

This "coffee flavour ice cream" is too yummy !

I wonder why haven't I tried this before. This world is full of amazing food flavours.

Ah those cupcakes thestrawberry sauce on them. And that sushi I ate with Caitlin , fried fish with curry and rice balls.....damn I'm in love with these human foods !

I'm not a foodie specially not for human's food but from past some weeks I'm eating like a

gluttonous cat !

I wonder why ?

Uumm...I think I've to find it's reason.

I've a feeling that it's alarming  !

Oh I completely forgot about Jairus.

I wonder what he is doing right now. He was ill & there's no one at home to care for him.

Uumm.....should I visit him ?

By front door or by sneaking  !

Or I'd just call him.

No- No I'd visit him that's better. Moreover I'll be satisfied.

I'm already missing him.

Agnes took a cab to his house don't know why but she was feeling tired as if her whole energy was being drained.

She paid the driver and gazed upon the building in confusion whether to knock at the door or should creep in through the window like last time.

The lights were still on. It was 09:30 pm and the  voice of music was coming from inside.

Though not loud & clear but it seemed that a party was going on. Agnes went close to the door and was about to knock when she heard the laughter of some ladies !

She stood there stunned. Jairus wasn't feeling well in the morning and now he's throwing a party with girls !

Agnes just wanted to see him but now she was really curious to see what was happening inside. So she jumped and broke in through the window on second floor__Jairus' room.

It was just a piece of cake for her but she felt tired.
