Chapter 41 - Family

Endeavor Hero Agency, Hosu City

In the topmost room of the Endeavor Hero Agency Building, there was the Luxurious office of No.2 Pro Hero Endeavor. In the office, Endeavor sat behind his Desk while in front of him, a young Highschool was standing who was none other than his son Shoto Todoroki, Hero Name Shoto. There was tension between them which was normally not seen between a Father and Son.

"So finally you have dropped your childish act, I knew it you finally come back to your sense.."Endeavor wanted to continue but he was interrupted in between by his son

"It's not that I came I finally recognized or forgive you, it just because I wanted to get stronger and understand my power" As Todoroki spoke this Endeavor was still fine or you can he was a little proud but soon his color was drained as his son continued "You know that When I used my Left side I forgot about you the only thing in my mind was my mother and my opponent, You were not even there"This was the same word that son said after his fight against Lionheart but he was indeed shocked but thought his son has said it in the heat of the Moment but now. His son said these word to him straight face made him helpless, He felt like he lost most precious thing to him, and then he realized that no matter how hard he was on his son but still he loved him dearly and it wasn't the first time he felt it, a few years ago he felt the same thing when he lost the woman he loved, back then he did not even realize when he lost her, now she hates ...no she fears him that he can't even show his face to her and not same thing happening again and he so helpless

It all started with the loss of his eldest son Toya, He can't even count how many times he thought, the thing he could have done differently so that his son was still well and alive, He still blames himself every day whenever he prays altar in his room in memory of his dead son Toya. He believes if he did not stop the training of his son due to his Weak constitution, he may not have felt neglected and...and all things may have not come to this, so that why he concentrated on his son in fear of losing him b-but things still come to this

" Truthfully I didn't even want to talk to you but some told me I should listen to your side of the story too and I want to ask you that is it true that you visit my mother Occasionally?" Todoroki asked his father with a firm tone 

Endeavor nodded "I go to visit her although never met her since she still (deep breath) she still fears me and as my gift I only leave her favorite flowers which she has mentioned casually once sigh"

Although Gil has already have told him about this when he heard this in person from his father, phe was still shocked 

"D-do you regret?" Todoroki doesn't know what came to his mind when he asked his father

Endeavor nodded and said with wet eyes "I have many regrets and the biggest one is how I lost my family"

But listening to this sentence of Endeavor, anger in Todoroki flared up "D-don't say it, you have no right to say it when you have ever considered us like your family, you even married mom because of her quirk"

"It is true it one of the reasons I have married your mother but it was the only reason I was able met your mother later I have married her because of I-I fell in love with that woman, I know any woman would have left me long ago but she didn't, she never stayed behind because of my money or fame she stayed behind because her children, because of her dedication and love even I have fallen in love with her but I was never able to tell and after T-toya death everything just started to fall apart and I have tried everything but I was not able I-i just not wanted you to be neglected like Toya and lose you too I have trained you relentlessly, I didn't know what do" Endeavor said with tears in his eyes, after all this the Dam of emotions that he has held on for so many years burst open up in the flood of emotions

Todoroki was speechless to see the state of his father, Man who has been standing strong in his eyes and no matter he never give up was nothing but a grieving father and broken husband, he knew about his elder brother Toya who had a strong quirk and weak constitution due which he died in an accident and after that his family just to crumble down and mother became insane and harmed him 'accidentally'

Right now everything was too much take for both of them so Shoto left the office so that his father Enji can take hold of his emotion in the meantime

But now he knows why he was so adamant about training his quirk because unlike his other sibling he had a powerful quirk just like his elder brother Toya and his father was worried about him harming himself and his father as being an idiot in EQ doesn't how to let it out

Todoroki gritted his teeth and thought 'So now you are saying that what happened to our family all this I-it was all an accident'

Then he remembered what Gil has said about trying to learn about the story from his father's side and thought ' Huh.. so you wanted this from the beginning... sigh Thanks Gil   Thank you my... Friend'

Soon Lionheart Plane landed at the Kenndy International Airport in New York, Soon Lionheart Family was escorted out of Airport without any Security check as the USA is there Territory and Security is the least of an issue when coming out of Airport anyway

While Gil and Siduri sat in one and the cars they sat in covers the highest specs in security and Durability is no less than an armored vehicle but also they do not lose out on luxury

Soon after 1hour 50 min, they arrived at Lionheart Mansion in New Jersey, even comparing this mansion to the mansion Japan is a shame to this mansion

Soon they entered the main gate and heavy security team at the gate immediately opened the gate for them without any questioning as they were already told about there arrival but if it was anyone else they will not be able to in the mansion in there life without permission and after having a security check

They travel on the paved inside the mansion premises there was a beautiful garden all around them and soon they passed a beautiful fountain soon they arrived at the entrance of the mansion building and they came out of the cars and Gil's Parent and his aunt followed in the mansion where they welcome by the staff working in the mansion who were already there to greet them

However, Gil and Siduri didn't move after they came out of the car as they noticed a little girl playing in the garden not far away from them and not his parent and aunt did not notice her as for Siduri was only able to because she noticed Gil looking toward her which was an interesting fact as Gilbert should have noticed his eyes although he not using them actively but still his passive clairvoyance should have enough to notice it even if there was any kind of concealment was done

Little Girl was around 8 years old and have black hairs that reached her back and have sharp yellow eyes which were quite similar to his aunt Semiramis and Girl also had a beauty mark under her right eye which adds charms to her adorable beauty will she was playing in the garden while wearing a dark purple dress

Gil smile seeing her as he sees her with his red glowing eyes which means he has activated his Sha Naqba Imuru but still goes toward her while Siduri followed him and soon both arrived in front of little Gil and Girl stands while she was behind her back while leaning forward and looking at Gil with curious eyes and said " Big Brother will you help put this flower in my hairs"

When Gil heard this his mouth twitched hard but still, he nodded and bent to pick a flower from her hand, and with little effort, he was able to put in her hairs and then Little Girl smiled brightly and asked "How do I look Big Brother"

Gil replied while rubbing his temples " You look, good Grandmother"

At his reply, Little Girl and soon Her figure changed to that of 30-year-old mature and beautiful women with black hairs to her neck in length while wearing Drak Purple gown with a split on her right leg and soon that woman tightly hugged and placed Gil's head on her chest and said in a tone of genuine familial love " Grandma missed you so much Gil"

And yes this woman is none other than one of the strongest if not the strongest woman in the World and Grandmother of Gil, Merlin Lionheart nee Belialuin

I have researched on Endeavor and found he was pitiful whose broken apart but still in the End he still try his best piece it together and I found Dabi quite unreasonable since he was more like a attention seeking child and main reason due which his family fall apart and I know you would say Endeavor relentless training of Shoto, then I have tell you he is preparing his for dangerous profession of Pro Hero where weak leads to death and also due his training Shoto stands best among his peers
