Chapter 64 - Barn

A fire lit in the night, and a group of people surrounded as if to find treasures, Ezekiel and all group.

Ezekiel looked at everyone and talked: "Glenn do you have anything to say? I gave you yesterday's time".

Glenn looked at Ezekiel and was dumbfounded and nervous, yet he spoke the truth: "I..I, when I went inside the barn, it was full of walkers" after he finished, he relaxed as if a rock was removed from his ċhėst.

But the group might not, when the words just finished everyone looked at Glenn, and Shane interjected: "What the [email protected]? Why didn't you tell us before?".

Glenn shrank and said: "I just saw it yesterday, and I wanted to ask Maggie but I couldn't".

Glenn couldn't help but think of the reaction of Maggie and was quite sad, but he couldn't show it.

Nobody but Ezekiel noticed, and they continued talking, "we have to kill them all, what if in the middle of the night they come out?" after Shane words came out, it got the affirmation of almost all the people.

Rick: "No we can't, we aren't even living here and we don't want to mess this place because of our selfishness" said as he calmed everyone down.

Lori: "Rick are you okay with having a barn full of walkers, your son is still lying in the bed" after she finished screaming, everyone looked at Rick.

Rick didn't know what to say, although Lori was right, he couldn't risk leaving this place, it was too good for the outside.

Ezekiel: "Well, silence" said and continued, "we won't do anything until tomorrow and I will have a talk to Hershel then we decide what to do, well go and sleep".

-----

Next day everyone was present in front of Hershel and his family.

Ezekiel: "Hershel, why do you keep your family in such state?"

Hershel: "What do you mean?" he said puzzled.

Ezekiel: "I mean the family you put in the barn".

Hershel looked at Ezekiel and his group and said: "I need you and your group to leave this place" after he finished, he turned around.

Ezekiel: "You know, the outside world changed a lot, the laws do not exist anymore nor does property or right to speak".

Hershel stopped and looked at Ezekiel and said: "Are you threatening me?"

Ezekiel: "No I don't need to, I am just giving you the last chance to think about it".

Hershel looked at Ezekiel: "I give you till tomorrow morning to leave".
