Chapter 1070: Law

"Greeting, Your Excellency, the Spirit God."

Alex looked at the nine shadows. The first shadow he found was none other than Myra. She had called every single God Beast in this world, asking them to come and meet Alex.

To her left was that of a monkey. His body wasn't huge like the others. No, in fact, he was the smallest one among the rest. The fur on his face was burning as he seemed to have an antenna above his head that acted like a torch.

To her right was a beast, the same size as the snake. However, it had a pair of wings and a more solid scale. Yeah, it was a dragon. There seemed to be two dragons and both of them had the same red scale as if they were twins.

The first one was a minotaur that was covered in lava. Even his hammer was melting as the molten lava flowed continuously.

Surprisingly, he saw two phoenixes that were different from each other. The first one had a similar appearance to Kyle and Stina, but the other one had a blue color instead of red. 

The last two were a lizard that had a body structure similar to the salamander he found on earth, except this one was releasing fire from its back and a red Luan.

Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "I have discussed the matter with him."

"In that case, Your Excellency should know what we will give you, right?" The dragon asked.

"Yes. It's the technique to burn the contract."

The beasts nodded simultaneously as they pointed their hands or heads toward the sky. Before releasing it, Rhadon looked at his son, Ragi. "Ragi. Can you return the crystal?"

"!!!" Ragi suddenly realized and quickly handed the crystal to his father.

Rhadon threw that crystal as the others also summoned their crystals, turning it into one.

Alex widened his eyes, never expecting that the crystal turned out to be the technique.

"Our Lord condensed his own flame to seal this technique because the backlash is too much. For example, you will end up getting weakened for at least a decade. In that state, our Master still fought bravely and fell in the battle."

Alex nodded with a serious expression. "At the very least, I don't have a plan to use it for the time being."

Alex just grabbed the papers and took a look, finding the page number to make it easier to follow. "Thank you."

Rhadon smiled and nodded.

"Since we are done here, can I ask something?" The monkey raised his hand, staring at Alex before turning to Lin Xingzhi. "I want to test my strength against a God King. May Nature Goddess bless me with such an opportunity?"

Lin Xingzhi smiled. "I don't mind, but I am here just accompanying my husband. That's all."

"I—"

Clap.

Rhadon suddenly appeared next to the monkey and blew him to Outer Space with his tail.

The next second, the monkey appeared again while shouting angrily. "What the heck are you doing? Dan?"

"Our Lord said that I needed to make sure that you don't create trouble for us. He told it in his last Memory Crystal. If you keep doing it, I am going to tie you up, so you won't participate in anything."

"Since that was my lord's order, I would help." The dragon looked at the monkey, trying to suppress him with his killing intent.

"If I am not wrong, Your Excellency plans to train here, right?" asked the salamander.

"Yes."

"Is that so? But how about you guys?"

"With this short period, we doubt that any of us can reach God King level as we haven't even understood the concept that will turn us into God King yet. May I ask whether Your Excellency has found it?"

"Not yet. I am wondering what this concept you all are talking about is…" Alex scratched the back of his head.

"It's Law." Lin Xingzhi was the one answering this question.

"Law?" Alex turned around and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yes. Law." She nodded. "This has a similar concept to kingdom's law, but on a larger scale."

"Law, huh." Alex narrowed his eyes.

Lin Xingzhi smiled. "Treating this universe as your kingdom and the people in it as your citizens, what kind of universe do you wish to see?"

Alex closed his eyes as he realized that he had no idea about it.

"Every single God King has their own natural set of laws. Take me as an example. I have Nature Law. I can't really tell you about the concept because it will shake the law itself, but I can explain its ability. For example, I have an ability that controls Nature to the extreme level capable of triggering the Elemental Disturbance itself.

"Or I can even change the Nature Element to increase the pace of the Natural Flow. That's why when you become a God King, you have truly become a "King" under your own law.

"We can talk about Phitrus here. No doubt that his Law is Fire Law. She created the Fire Authority and Godly Pure Fire from that Law, allowing him to govern the Fire Element in this universe.

"The same applies to the Sword God or even my father, the Time God. They were the king of Sword and Time and had been recognized by this universe to gain such a position.

"I don't mean to be rude, but if all of you keep following Phitrus' way, you would be stuck in this realm forever." Lin Xingzhi shook her head.

The ten God Beasts quickly lowered their heads, thanking Lin Xingzhi for the lecture.

Meanwhile, Alex was frowning, having a difficult thought to swallow. For example, he could be anything such as Spirit God, Fire God, Sword God, Spear God, or even Space God. However, Alex felt that none of them reflected who he really is.

They were just merely his past that gave him this power. It wasn't the meaning of his existence.

'Now that I think about it…What is my power? I have all the power that the universe will envy, but I feel that they are just merely the power that I have.'

Not knowing why, his Gacha System appeared in his head. Alex began to doubt himself when he saw the Gacha System. Although he did many things similar to that of the Dungeon God, his path in using the Gacha System was different from him.

Even if there were ten people with the same power, they would have ten different conclusions. Instead of searching for his true self, he just needed to forget the identity that no one would ever have.

Alex suddenly fell to the ground, sitting in a lotus pose.

"Big Sister, will Big Brother Alex be fine?" Evelyn frowned.
