Chapter 1035: Five Guardians

"What the heck are you saying, Helena, you bastard! I abide by that rule, and you are trying to steal the march!" Agnis snapped as his hand slowly turned into bright red magma.

"Such a display. You are turning to your true form right now?" She covered her mouth with her hand while chuckling, looking down on Agnis.

"That's right. You shouldn't even mention that." Canaan commented, trying to support Agnis.

"Can you shut up? You are bringing your daughter here, and you are trying to get justice from me? How about watering your little girl so that she can grow up a bit?" Helena lowered her vision a bit, focusing on Raise's pathetic chest. "Look. That part hasn't grown yet. Are you thinking about having her like a tree trunk? So hard."

As the thunderbird, Zerah, wanted to say something, Helena already continued. "You should also shut up, grandma. You are already shameless enough to bring your son. However, Agnis suddenly slammed his fist to the ground, silencing them, before shouting. "Can't you even think about it differently? This is his mettle and also his promise to win against that beast. If you can't even see this, you have failed as an Elemental God."

Helena and Zerah fell silent and looked down.

"I know your concern, but I have no intention to give up. That's why please help me in the process." Alex put on a gentle smile. The smile that knew his weakness too well.

Seeing that smile was already enough for the four Elemental Gods to kneel once again. "We shall help you until you reach the top once again. Long Live Eulja. Long Live Spirit King."

"Anyway, I am planning to strengthen myself in this world for a few years. Maybe I will visit you guys again during that time and talk about training or something. I hope that you won't turn me down."

"Of course not." Agnis smiled. He was fired up. Helena, Canaan and Zerah had taken advantage of this meeting, so he was the only one who really followed what Lin Xingzhi said that time. However, it would be a different case if Alex wanted to visit them in their home. It was the true battlefield.

This time, there was no hidden meaning in his expression. All of it was true and genuine. He put on a smile while cupping his hand. "I, Agnis, Salamander Spirit, pledge my allegiance to Alexander Sirius, the Spirit King."

The others also followed his example.

"I, Helena, Siren Spirit, pledge my allegiance to Alexander Sirius, the Spirit King."

"I, Canaan, Salamander Spirit, pledge my allegiance to Alexander Sirius, the Spirit King."

"I, Zerah, Salamander Spirit, pledge my allegiance to Alexander Sirius, the Spirit King."

"We hope that His Majesty returns triumph."

The return in their mouth was none other than the fight against that beast.

Alex smiled and nodded. "Wish me luck."

Zark then activated his Teleportation Array.

Before these three disappeared, four of them said in unison. "Love Live Eulja, Long Live Spirit King."

Alex blinked his eyes as his surroundings changed from a small hut into a giant field filled with green grass.

The sun and breeze completed it if he wanted a picnic.

Alex looked around with his Spirit Eyes and found five Rank 2 Gods a bit further away from his location.

As if they sensed his appearance, these five suddenly appeared and kneeled in front of him.

"Your Majesty."

Alex looked at the group and found that they were lining up in a unique way. The very front was an old man with long hair. Behind him, the four others were kneeling side by side as if they were his subordinates.

Still, no matter how he saw it, he couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows when he found someone wasn't actually in his real body.

Lin Xingzhi immediately introduced them first. "The old man in the front is the Central Guardian… No, I should explain our defense system first. We actually have two circles of defense before arriving in Eulja, Outer and Inner Circle.

"The Outer Circle is protected by the Ten Commandants while the Guardians protect the Inner Circle. However, there is only one Guardian that resides in Eulja. He is this old man, the Central Guardian. Unlike his appearance, he is a madman. His name is William. He is a human that followed you in the past.

"With his expertise which is his Bow, he obliterated his enemies. Anyway, he might be a good teacher for Rose after having her Bow Qi."

"Please don't scare His Majesty… I am just an almost retired old man." William raised his head while putting on a gentle smile. "I am honored to meet you, Your Majesty."

"My pleasure to meet you." Alex nodded.

"Behind him are the other four guardians. I will introduce them one by one starting from the right, the north guardian. As you can see…He is a dog."

"…" Alex twitched his eyebrows when he heard Lin Xingzhi's explanation.

The dog also couldn't help but raise his head. "Please make a better explanation about me like the old man."

Alex looked at this two-headed dog and noticed his serpent tail.

"As you can see, he is an Orthrus. His name is Kane, and his dream is—"

"To be Your Majesty's pet. Ah, I am sure it will feel good to be a pet and have my stomach get rubbed by Your Majesty." Kane continued Lin Xingzhi's explanation.

"Mhmm…Okay?" Alex tilted his head in confusion.

"I have shrunk myself though." Kane looked away while correcting her.

Alex looked at this young woman that looked slightly younger than Helena. "Ehm, nice to meet you."

"What poor woman? You are a poison user that even Rilt has a problem in dealing with you." Lin Xingzhi snorted.

"Your Majesty. If you need an aphrodisiac, my place will always have the stock…"

"What?" She was taken aback as if she just got the shock of her life.

The fourth guardian appeared to be non-human. In fact, he was so small compared to the others, and he even had two pairs of translucent wings.

Alex looked at this small man that happened to have the same hair color as him. "Nice to meet you. Are you the South Guardian or the West Guardian?"

"I am protecting the south, Your Majesty. Of course, I have my colony there as well while sending some to train here."

"I see." Alex nodded. "It's my pleasure to meet you. I hope we can get along."

"Your words honored me."

Lin Xingzhi nodded and moved to the last guardian. "He is in his astral body because his real body is so big. After all, he is a titan. What is your height again?"

"Only one hundred meters…" The last man whose brown hair fluttered by the wind answered with a gentle expression. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty. I am Exegesis. The Earth God has the same height as me though, if we consider his real body."

"Indeed. He is also a big man, but his heart is small." Lin Xingzhi agreed before rebuking him.

"His brain is also small…" Carissa chuckled.

"Oi, oi. Don't talk bad about people." Exegesis tried to be a middle-man.

"Well, Titan race is actually a peaceful race that takes care of their own world well. I hope you don't mind if I come here with my astral body since my real body will gather too much attention. There is a possibility that someone will follow me to see this meeting."

Alex nodded. "I don't mind."

"Well, we have discussed this earlier with the Elemental Gods…" Lin Xingzhi explained what they discussed earlier.

After a few minutes, she ended it with a question. "Do you want to add something?"

"This old man is waiting for his majesty wife to study bow under me." William smiled.

"Well, she is a genius. Make sure you don't get disheartened when you meet her." Alex smirked while adding inwardly, 'With the Bow Mastery Card though.'

"I don't have anything to add other than please rub my belly in the future, Your Majesty…"

"Yes, yes. I only want you, Your Majesty. I don't mind if it's a one-night stand." Carissa chuckled.

"That's the last thing you will get…" Lin Xingzhi shook her head helplessly. "That's the reason why he will never accept you. You always do bad things…"

"But isn't it sexier?" She pouted.

Before the two fought again, Silver said, "I hope that Your Majesty will not disappear again."

"You should say Long Live His Majesty, Silver." Exegesis corrected him.

Alex couldn't help but smile when looking at their genuine expressions. "I am counting on you guys."

"Yes, Your Majesty." The five guardians said in unison.
