Chapter 656 - Firia Meets The Other Girls

"She is truly missing you, Husband."

Alex was stunned with her sad smile, yet a thought arose in his mind. "That's right. Why did you come here alone?" 

"I asked her before coming here, and she said she is in the middle of cultivation. She asked me to come here alone to help you because she would require a few years to cultivate. By that time, you might already break free from this world and achieve God Stage. That's why she decided to wait for you there." Firia answered with the alibi she had prepared earlier. Although it pained her to lie like this, she had agreed with this arrangement a few days ago. 

"Is that so?" Alex let out a long sigh, not having a single shred of doubt in Firia's words. "She is fine, right?"

Firia understood Alex's worry in this question. After all, Alicia had gotten that poison one time, and Alex was afraid she faced that kind of thing again. Hence, she put the gentlest smile she could and answered. "As I said, I talked to her before coming here. She was very energetic and cheerful at that time."

Alex felt relieved, knowing she was alright. "I see. I am confident to reach God Stage within a decade, so I will just meet her by that time."

"Haha… If we are going with your process, five years are the maximum." Firia chuckled. "I won't lose to you this time though. I will surely become a God Stage Expert before you."

"So, you are going to challenge me..." Alex narrowed his eyes.

"Of course. You are feeling confident to pass me with this difference, Husband?" She released her Spiritual Energy to make Alex remember that she was an 8-Star Martial Monarch.

"No. I quit. I won't go for the challenge because I only want you to grow without destroying your foundation only for this stupid challenge." Alex shook his head.

"I'm not that foolish. Besides, I know about cultivation as well from my Master. That's why don't underestimate me." Firia harrumphed. "Anyway, you are not going to join them?"

She pointed her finger at the scene behind her. 

Alex shook his head and smiled. "Anna and the others are strong enough to deal with them. We are in this cage made of your Sacrificial Element. I'm sure it will be strong enough to trap them."

"You trust my ability this much? I was never useful for you in the past, you know." Firia grinned.

"Don't say that. Although your fighting with Alicia was a little bit annoying, it colored my day at the very least. I was always alone before, passing my day without anyone. That was why I still felt it was nice." Alex smiled, complimenting her genuinely. 

"That is not a compliment, Husband." Firia narrowed her eyes before clapping her hands and changing her mood. "There should be another ten minutes before Anna, and the others finish. Do you want to ask something?"

"I have two questions. I am wondering why you didn't tell me that you can visit me again?" Alex asked while glancing upon her eyes.

"I almost forgot… Uncle Maxwell actually told me that he would inform you himself, but it seemed he had forgotten about it."

*Thud—!* Kai didn't know why but the past memory resurfaced in his mind where he actually forgot to mention Spatial Gate and Space Plate. "He is a forgetful person… Sigh."

"Haha… It's fine since you can focus on your cultivation rather than waiting for us." Firia shrugged. 

"True enough." Alex nodded in agreement. "Then, the second question, why at this time?"

"To finish my training with my Master first. Even alone in this world, I should be able to sustain myself. Master taught me about Alchemist as well up to God Stage Pill or a pill above rank 8, the Divine Pill. Of course, I can only make rank 8 pill right now due to my cultivation… barely." Firia smiled. She, in her mouth, was Lin Xingzhi. Unfortunately, she forbade her from saying the fruit was coming from her because of several reasons.

Due to Firia talking about her Master this whole time, Alex misunderstood her and thought it was coming from her Master. "Thank you for bringing it to me; I truly need it. If I have the opportunity, I will thank her in the future."

Firia hid her lie beneath her smile even though she was also crying at the same time. She thought, 'How many lies I need to tell on the first day of meeting my husband…' 

Alex tossed the Star Fruit inside his Inventory and remembered something. "Do you know about the System?"

"Of course, I know. I want to ask you to invite me as a Spirit Nest member."

Alex nodded and opened his system, sending an invite to her. Firia chose Yes without hesitation and officially became one of the Spirit Nest members. 

"That's right, Husband. I have seen your progress from there and know that you have trouble with money. Master didn't let me bring any items other than my clothes and weapon, so I will need to rely on you to procure medicinal ingredients while I make rank 7 or rank 8 pills for you. In other words, I will supply the money for our Spirit Nest." She grinned.

Alex nodded before noticing something wrong. "Wait, you have a weapon?"

"That's good then." Alex had no problem in her Master sealing its power. If he didn't reach Absolute Blade Saint before all this matter, he might necessarily use his Spiritual Weapons as to stimulate his potential.

At this time, Anna and Sherry suddenly appeared behind the barrier. "Alex, we are done and spare the weakest guy we can get."

"You are just corrupting Sherry!" Anna shouted.
