Chapter 657 - Return

While the girls were busy discussing among themselves, Alex somehow felt a chill down his spines for no apparent reasons. Yet, he couldn't think of it at the moment as he looked at the scared person a few meters in front of him. 

"Your family wants to use my life to gain a favor… No, I should say your main family. At the same time, your family will have the help in resolving your current situation here because you are just a useless piece of crap that your family abandoned!" Alex looked at the middle-aged guy in front of him, who was kneeling on the ground and begging for mercy. 

Suddenly, Alex released his Spiritual Energy. "Do you think your Ancient Blue Family on this continent can defend itself when I decide to attack?"

"Young Lord. Please spare my life." The man was shaking as he groveled in the ground and bore Alex's pressure. He was only a little 4-Star Martial Emperor while Alex was a 3-Star Martial Monarch. At the same time, he was afraid to use his Spiritual Energy in case Alex thought of it as a challenge and killed him on the spot. 

"I don't give a damn on your life. Still, I can see you have another value. As long as you take a Heavenly Oath not to say anything about my Space Element, you can go. Don't forget to tell your family that if they are coming at me for the second time, I will exterminate their whole family. And this is not an empty threat." Alex mysteriously mentioned Heavenly Oath and his Space Element, despite knowing it was useless.

"Ye-yes, my lord! With Heaven and Earth as my witness, I, Tristan, won't say a single thing about my Lord Power, especially anything related to his Space Element. If I fail to abide by this promise, let the lightning strike me and extinguish my soul."

Alex didn't have a change of expression. "You have sworn the Heavenly Oath, and the moment I see Ancient Blue Family raise their weapons will be the day I extinguish your family. Now go!" 

"Yes. Thank you, my lord. Thank you, my lord." The man quickly rose from the ground and ran away. 

Seeing this person flying away, Alex turned to Nelson with a serious expression. "Nelson, I want you to follow that guy and make sure he doesn't report anything about my Space Element."

"Understood. I will kill him as soon as there is a slight hint he is going to say about your Space Element. At the same time, we can humiliate this family too." Nelson nodded and disappeared.

Alex still narrowed his eyes and thought, 'According to the information, their family is the same as the Blackwade Clan from the Northern Continent. However, this one is a bit more extreme where they won't have any connection with the main family because the latter treated them as a dog instead of a family member. 

'The Main Family might help them if the other influences want to destroy it, but they shouldn't care if it's only harassment. Besides, I will also roam around the Heavenly Continent by that time, and this continent matter won't influence me in any way.' 

"Young Master, what are we going to do next? I know that you are going to train, but how about us? Should we come to the Heavenly Continent first and raise our level with powerful monsters?" A male's voice came from his right.

Alex turned around and found that it was Artur. "That's my original plan, and hopefully one of you can enter Martial Saint before I go there… But I think that is hard."

"Indeed. The strongest of us is Leoz, and I feel he won't be able to reach Martial Saint in a couple of months unless he takes all the experiences, which is impossible."

"Well, evolving Sherry's Pure Fire is going to take two to three months." Alex nodded. "I will think about it later… But I am sure I will teleport you guys to the Heavenly Continent first after some planning in the base." 

"Understood."

Alex thought for a moment. "Still, are you going to be fine? The difference between Martial Emperor and Martial Monarch is not the same as Martial Monarch and Martial Saint. They are far different, so I'm a bit hesitant in this matter. Unlike the spies, all of you have the chance of being found out."

"We should be alright if we follow Nelson," Artur said nonchalantly.

"But Nelson will only meet you a few days later due to his current mission."

Artur fell into silence and crossed his arms. "How about we wait until Nelson finishes his job? Naturally, the last guy's fate has been determined since he will surely talk about the Space Element even if the Heavenly Oath binds him. In fact, he might even say and die like that."

"I know. I was threatening him with that to make sure it would go last. That way, the Ancient Blue Family will know our power and give some information to the main family. Finally, our misunderstanding game will begin." Alex nodded. "Besides, there are many influences on the Heavenly Continent, and they will soon know that I have given my Pure Fire to Sherry.

"At that time, they are going to kill us instead of capturing us. Their patriarch will claim that I have killed their Young Master… It's true though. Of course, he won't forget about a huge bounty on my head, especially after confirming I have a backing that can deal with their Martial Saints.

"They must surely want to manipulate the rogue cultivators and other influences to entangle in this complicated mess. Even so, only Ancient Blue Family will be the only one to participate in this conquest due to this battle. The other influences will wait and see first since Blackwade Clan, their previous ally, doesn't participate.

"They will investigate me first, and at that time, I will have a more convincing power to confront the Blackwade Clan, telling them I won't mind if they fight me as well. Of course, I hope the conversation is going well and get their cooperation. I only want to make their First Elder and Third Elder suffer first before I or Blackwade Clan kill them." Alex finally finished his explanation.

Artur thought for a moment. "I don't have a brain like Young Master, but I know the situation will calm down the moment Blackwade Clan announce their stance."

"Yeah. The other influences won't target me because they don't want to get entangled into this complicated situation. So, the situation will gradually calm down, and the Fire God Clan can only fume in anger since nothing is going their way." Alex smiled evilly.

"I have one question, Young Master."

"Ask." Alex nodded. 

"What will you do with Snow White Mountain? When will you save Letizia? As much as I choose not to care about it, her loyalty is commendable. Besides, she is a Pure Ice Element. I am sure she will grow big later and doesn't seem to be one like Shelka. Is Young Master going to take her under your banner?" Artur asked. 

Alex closed his eyes for a few seconds. "I will decide after I rescue her. After all, I doubt I will go there before reaching Martial Saint due to how dangerous it is."

"I understand." Artur nodded. "I am sorry if I ask you like this since Young Master must want to explain it together with the other spirits, so you don't repeat yourself."

"We are not rushing anyway, so I don't really mind. Besides, changing opinion twice might give me another idea." Alex smiled and shook his head before raising his hand, telling them to regroup. Alex turned around and saw the women were chatting happily.

"Have you finished your matter?" Firia waved her hand to him, asking him to come over.

"Long ago."

"Really? I thought we were just talking for a few minutes." Firia chuckled.

Alex shook his head, looking at all of their expressions. Firia had a beautiful smile on her face to show her good mood. Anya also nodded in agreement while smiling from ear to ear. On the other hand, Anna had a frustrated face as she glared at Firia and Anya while looking at Sherry with pity.

Alex looked at the book in Sherry's hand as Sherry was trying hard to hide it to the point of storing it inside her personal Space Ring instead of Inventory. She tensed up and looked at Alex with her red face. "Ma-Master, we should go home since we have finished."

A doubt raised in his mind, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he agreed with the suggestion and said. "Let's go back."

The spirits went back to the card while the contracted beasts returned inside his body, leaving Alex and Firia alone. 

"Shall we go?"

"Yes."

Alex snapped his finger and created a Teleportation Array as the two vanished into thin air.

"Good work for all of you. Should we commence the meeting first?" Alex asked.

"Firia has just returned. How about having quality time for all these years first? We can wait." Anya answered with a smile while Sherry nodded in agreement.

"Yeah. It's been a few years since you last met her." Anna ultimately nodded her head. "I can compile the information and plan that way."

Alex hesitated for a moment, glanced at Firia, and agreed with their suggestion.

"Thank you."

A few hours later,

A man and a woman were lying down on the bed as a smile was planted on both of their faces. At first, they were chatting happily about many things until the mood took over.

The woman used the man's hand as her pillow and looked up. "Alex, when are you going to the Heavenly Continent? Are you still going according to the plan or…"

"I haven't decided yet. The Star Fruit makes me hesitate once more. Of course, I will eat the Star Fruit first since it will improve my cultivation and strength. After that, I will begin training Sherry. I will decide after that." Alex nodded.

"I will also cultivate with you. Remember about Sherry's Pure Fire, and you can dual cultivate with her?"

"Yeah."

"I can actually join you because my Sacrificial Fire originated from you. According to the theory, we can increase our speed even more."

"That is worth a try." Alex also had the knowledge about it but was still unsure whether it was plausible or not.

"You need to tell me your schedule, so I can arrange my schedule."

"Your schedule?"

"Yeah. I'm going to make pills with all of your Medicinal Herbs and get us some money. Like the one that can increase one's talent, I can make it too as long as I have the ingredients." Firia nodded. "In the meantime, you can make Array Plates if you want to boost our income."

"That is a good idea." Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "If you are unsure with one thing, just tell me so I can prepare a Simulation Room for you."

"Haha… You are truly a special one to think about that. Even Uncle Maxwell is surprised to know it and create a similar array for me. Of course, for training my Alchemy Skill." Firia chuckled.

"It's nothing but my otherworldly knowledge… Still, to think Firia, who needed my teaching in the past, wanted to take over my job as an Alchemist." Alex smirked. 

"I was too immature back then and thought I could help you if I learned Alchemy. Unfortunately, I only took more of your time…" Firia sighed.

"You were not my burden and will never be my burden. That's what I always think and probably will never change. So, I never care if you are going to make me busy for a year or a few ten years, I will consider it as nothing." Alex smiled.

"This was the reason why I fell in love with you despite the first thing I had in my mind was to conquer you, so I could escape from an arranged marriage." Firia smiled while closing her eyes. "Husband, I love you."
