Chapter 655 - The Reason

"Firia!"

Alex released all sorts of feelings. Anxious, yearning, hope, but most importantly, love. He hugged her as tight as possible, afraid she would disappear the moment he let go of her.

She was one of the two people that he always wanted to see, the reason why he wanted to become stronger. He could face all of these tortures so as to reunite with her one more time.

"Husband. I have come back. Don't worry, I won't leave you again." Firia hugged him back gently, trying to calm him down. "I will accompany you in this world."

"Accompany me?" Alex's body shook by this word as he abruptly released her and locked into her eyes, dumbfounded.

"Yes. I have been training with your Master's wife this whole time. According to our plan, Alicia will also come back to this place, but… Due to some circ.u.mstances, she decided to stay there, waiting for you to come." Firia answered calmly. She closed her eyes for a while, recalling the meeting she had with Alicia.

Firia's training had come to an end. Her master had finally given her permission to visit Alex and helped him. She even had Zark to pick her up to meet Lin Xingzhi and Alicia. 

Of course, both of them had been waiting for her. Even Alicia stopped her training and waited in the castle.

Firia entered the room where they used to meet if they wanted to talk about Alex.

Outside the room, specifically on the balcony, two women were chatting over tea. They turned around after noticing Firia's presence, and Alicia waved her hand, asking her to come.

Firia nodded and sat while Lin Xingzhi poured her tea.

"To think you have reached 8-Star Martial Monarch this soon…" Lin Xingzhi smiled with a slight surprise in her tone.

"That's right. I'm still a 7-Star Martial Monarch right now…" Alicia added while pouting.

"It's thanks to Sister Xingzhi. If you don't help me out and meet my master, how can I reach my current state?" Firia humbly said.

"Haha… It's also thanks to your effort that you can reach this step. You even pass Alex, who is currently a 3-Star Martial Monarch. I know that you want to meet him right now, but I have a plan. Care to hear me out?"

"A plan?" Firia and Alicia were surprised.

"Yeah. In a few days, Alex is going to fight two Martial Saints with Martial Monarchs and Martial Emperors behind them." Lin Xingzhi told them Alex's condition.

"Do you want us to help him? Although I wish to help him, I know that my strength is not strong enough to help him." Firia asked with great doubt in her heart. 

Alicia also thought the same. Firia, who was stronger than her, had no confidence, let alone her.

"I know. Alex is planning to use Maxwell's token that contains the Fire Devil Strings technique to kill the two Martial Saints. This will leave Martial Monarchs and Martial Emperors. I want you to make an entrance at this moment. This will allow you to show your progress to Alex as well as make a flashy entrance rather than a normal entrance. Isn't it more romantic?" "I don't really care about the entrance to be honest. I only wish to meet him again. This is why I got stronger in the first place." Firia shook her head.

Alicia thought the same before she suddenly noticed something was wrong. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked down, leaving Firia and Lin Xingzhi talking among themselves.

Firia pondered for a moment and agreed with her plan. "I understand. I will go according to Sister Xingzhi's plan." Firia nodded.

"I know you must be confused as to why I choose this option. I have one simple reason. We have been getting stronger so we can assist him, right?" Alicia asked Firia and Lin Xingzhi. 

Firia nodded with solemn expressions. The answer was obvious. "Certainly."

"The same applies to him. He is getting stronger for the sake to meet us." Alicia looked at her with a sad look. "If we appear before him, will he still have this desire?" 

"!!!" Firia was stunned by her question. This answer was as obvious as the last question. 

Lin Xingzhi suddenly rose from her seat and hugged Alicia, burying her face under her b.o.o.b.s. "I really never choose the wrong sister!"

"Haha… This is the best for me, Firia, you, and Alex." Alicia chuckled. "His desire to get stronger will vanish because his goal has been achieved. The current him can't seal someone else's cultivation. In other words, we can't go back to the Lower World and have a happy life there… all of us.

Alicia and Firia were stupefied. They had no important matter today, so Lin Xingzhi's action was very suspicious. Yet none of them said anything as they simply had another light chat.

A few minutes later, Lin Xingzhi came back while bringing a fruit on her hands. The fruit had a star shape while releasing a powerful Fire Energy.

"Sister Xingzhi, that is…" Firia noticed this fruit as a fire user.

"Yeah. This is Star Fruit. It has a very nourishing Fire Energy that even God Stage experts would find it useful. It can boost one's Fire Talent and Strength. This is a priceless fruit… But I think the reason I bring it here is obvious." She smiled at Firia.

"You want me to bring it to Alex for his fourth refinement?" Firia asked.

"Yes. At first, I have been storing this to give him one through Gacha since this is the only one I have for his Undying Fire Body refinement. However, I think it's better to give him now because the situation is getting pretty dangerous. This should be able to increase his cultivation slightly, and the refinement will greatly enhance his strength. He will have more options to face his enemies this way." Xingzhi gave Firia another reason to go.

"So that's why sister Xingzhi asked the others to search around. It's to find all the materials for his Undying Fire Body?" Alicia asked.
