602 Trickery

As soon as they decided their plan, Alex opened his Spatial Gate, leading all spirits inside his Blue Layered Realm. The spirits followed him without hesitation, and before long, Alex stopped in front of something.

They didn't have a space element, so they couldn't see it. But Alex could clearly watch four Martial Monarchs gathering inside one tent, talking about something. Alex halted his footsteps before saying, "Change of plan. All of us are going to attack four Martial Monarchs at the same time. We will kill as many as possible to make them use their Berserk Pill. Other than that, we don't have a change of plan." 

"Understood." Although the spirits didn't know what lies beyond the Blue Layered Realm, they knew there were four Martial Monarchs there. As long as they killed these four before anyone noticed, their situation would be improved even further. 

Before opening the gate, Alex observed them with his Spirit Eyes first. It turned out their enemies were only two 1-Star Martial Monarchs and two 2-Star Martial Monarchs. In terms of prowess, they were like 10-Star Martial Emperors and 1-Star Martial Monarchs. Of course, it wasn't that easy to kill four of them simultaneously, even with that kind of prowess. 

Alex pondered for a moment and said, "Nelson, me, Anna, and Artur will handle the two 1-Star Martial Monarchs. The rest will handle the other two."

He activated his Pure Fire this time because he could see one of them had Fire Element. "Nelson, I can suppress one of them with my Pure Fire. Within that split second confusion, I want you to kill him. Is that a hard task?"

"You have sent the invitation to hell, how can he not go there instantly?" Nelson shrugged, saying he would let that person alive even for one second more.

"Anna and Artur will wait for a few seconds before Nelson and I join the fight." Alex smiled.

"Understood." They nodded furiously before glancing at the other group who had their own discussion on how they killed the Martial Monarchs. 

As expected, with how powerful Leoz was, they decided they would do anything in their power to restrict their movement before Leoz finished them off. 

"Are you ready?"

As soon as they nodded, Alex created a single portal capable of letting eleven people out at once. 

"!!!" 

"Who are you!" 

The Martial Monarchs were confused as they couldn't understand the Spatial Gate for a few seconds. However, before those few seconds, they were already engaged in combat. 

A blazing red fire gushed out from Alex's body, revealing its mighty prestige. Alex locked his eyes onto one of them and used everything one his power to suppress this person. 

"Elemental Suppression."

Nelson released his powerful Dark Energy and slashed that person into two. Confirming he was dead, Alex and Nelson exchanged looks and nodded at each other before going toward Anna and Artur. 

They occupied him decently by using Anna's Tri Xeta and Artur's sword. With some desperate movement, the 1-Star Martial Monarch somehow managed to reach the Berserk Pill and swallowed him.

Unfortunately for him, his comrade had already died, and Nelson already appeared right beside him. Nelson cut the Monarch's hand, preventing him from eating the pill.

"!!!" The monarch gritted his teeth and took a glimpse of his other friends' conditions. Unfortunately, their two friends were not much better. One of them was restricted by four people, while the other one almost died. However, the one that got restricted were somehow able to swallow the pill. 

"You Bastard, I will kill you!" 

Alex and Nelson furrowed their eyebrows upon sensing the energy. The Martial Monarch in front of them took this as his advantage by roaring out loud. "AAAAHHHH!!"

He shouted as loud as possible to make sure everyone could hear it. Of course, he couldn't say something like "Help me" or "Enemy Attack!" because he didn't have time to produce so many syllables in his condition. The only thing he could shout was that roar that didn't contain a single message. 

The other Martial Monarchs were confused with this shout, so they decided to check. They banded with one another. Before they knew it, six of them got together, along with some Martial Emperors and Martial Kings.

At the moment they entered the tent, they widened their eyes, didn't believe that four of the Martial Monarchs had died. The one that had Berserk Pill still died under the constant attacks of Alex and his ten spirits.

"Attack them!" The one in the front shouted before taking out his Berserk Pill. Seeing how these four people died without anyone noticing, these enemies were not ordinary.

"Use your Berserk pill. These enemies are very dangerous. You don't need to care about their lives, as long as one of them is still alive, everything is good." The other Martial Monarch shouted while swallowing a Berserk Pill.

Alex frowned his eyebrows. He didn't teleport them right away, so more people would notice their presence, which meant more people would use their Blood Pills. In an instant, he ordered, "Attack them. Kill as many as you can."

His order was like a wake-up call for the spirits. Anna quickly released her butterflies, and the others followed with their respective attacks.

"The one that shouted earlier should be their leader. As long as we can capture him, we will win this battle." The Martial Monarch shouted.

"Fire Phoenix Art, First Stage. Summon Phoenix."

Alex sent his phoenix together with his firebirds to create a commotion.

"Boom Boom Boom!"

In the first wave of attacks, they somehow managed to kill one hundred Martial Kings but no Emperor or Monarch. More so, the other disciples had already arrived and waited for the order.

"Attack them. Just spare one of them so we can get information." The Martial Monarch's roar finalized their action.

"Nelson!" Alex shouted before snapping his finger, creating a pink array on the ground. At the same time, Nelson took out an Array Plate that Alex prepared earlier. "Activate."

The barrier was erected to the sky, trapping this group who had taken their Berserk Pill. Alex teleported to the sky outside the barrier.

"Haha… now you have used your Berserk Pill, and we are outside here, we can just watch you die!" Looking down on them, Alex roared. His words filled with mockery, and their purpose was none other than to taunt them.

"You Bastard!" The Martial Monarchs realized their situations. They wanted to say 'Attack this barrier!' but couldn't. In that instant, they knew Alex had Space ELement, and if they attacked them… the consequences would be big. 

"After your elders died, I will kill all of you!" Alex released his killing intent. The spirits also followed suits and combined their killing intent with him. Surprisingly, their killing intents were much more than Alex and created tension on the people from Black Devil Sect.

"No, no. If we are trapped here without the elders, we will die!"

"Destroy the barrier!"

"As long as we can destroy the barrier, the elders will surely kill them."

The situation turned worse for Black Devil Sect. Their elders might be able to keep their calm because of their experiences, but most of the disciples, especially the Martial King stage disciples, couldn't control their impulse.

"Wind Storm!"

"Blood Blade!"

They used many attacks at once and released it toward the barrier, specifically right in front of Alex.

"You fool! Do no-!" The elders were too late to stop them because many of the attacks had released their attacks. The elders gritted their teeth before shouting, "Scatter. Don't gather in one place!"

The disciples were confused with the sudden order and calmed their hearts down a little bit before their face turned pale.

"Too late!" Alex smirked evilly and created a huge portal, sucking every single attack that flew toward the barrier. He made another portal right above them and rained them down with their own attacks.

"Boom Boom Boom!"

Explosions' sounds kept echoing across the region because of the number of their attacks. Alex activated his Spirit Eyes again to check how many people had died by those explosions, and the result didn't disappoint him.

"We have killed three hundred… Coupled with the first one hundred and fifty people, we are almost half done." Alex muttered to himself. "Still, they are calmer than I expected���" 

"Alex, I believe we should go in again. Seeing those numbers, we can have Leoz and Nelson to take care of the Martial Monarchs while the others kill the Martial kings. As for the Martial Emperor, you and Jeanne should be enough." Anya advised him. 

"I know." Alex nodded. "Wait for a bit more."

He wanted to make them panic, to get an advantage in the mind battle.

On the other side, the elders were racking their brains to see a way to escape from this situation. Seeing Alex's group prowess, if they spread out, the disciples and elders would most likely die. However, if they don't do anything, they will also die.

"Spread out but not too much. We are going to attack the barrier again together. Make sure you position yourself in front of the barrier so they couldn't use that Space Art again." One of the elders shouted.

The others could only nod because they thought it was the only thing they could do. 

"!!!" Alex widened his eyes when he saw this. Not because he was surprised by the strategy, but because the moment he had been waiting for finally came. He created another portal right in front of him to confuse the enemy.

"Watch out! Make sure you don't shoot the portal with your attack!" The elders warned them after seeing the portal.

Alex smirked and snapped his finger. The portal disappeared before a pink array emerged from within the Blue Colored Realm. It was yet another Teleportation Array, and their destination was the enemy's rear.

Alex purposely chose the furthest spot after looking at how they were spread out. "Attack!"

Even though it was only for a few seconds, it was enough to kill another one hundred people with a sneak attack. 

As Anya advised, they took care of the Martial Monarchs and Martial Emperors first before cleaning up the Martial Kings. All of them were unwilling to die in this place, but Alex's group was just too strong. It was like an army of plebians fighting against eleven powerful assassins. Only their leaders could somehow fight them while the rest had no chance. At best, they could only buy a few seconds before dying.

And with almost an hour, they annihilated the bigger group.

Knowing how their tactic worked, Alex repeated it for the other groups. Unfortunately, it was a bit harder when Leoz couldn't hold his True Spirit Body. He apologized to Alex once again and said he could still fight until the end.

Alex let him do whatever he wanted because Leoz's power was truly needed in this fight. After destroying the second three-thousand men group, they went toward the third group. The battle went smoothly, and Anna leveled up in this battle.

It was only after the fourth group Alex asked Jeanne, Vera, and Fabio to use their True Spirit Body. At the same time, the night finally came, and Nelson powered up like crazy. If Leoz could still use his True Spirit Body, this would be the most powerful line-up in Alex's history. 

With how the battle of each group finished within three hours, Alex finished the battle in less than a day. Of course, suppose they didn't split their group and fight Alex's group using those fifteen thousand people altogether. In that case, it might take more than a day, and Alex would need more planning about this.

After finishing the battle, Alex took a breather first around the area. He knew after this; he would go toward the Cursed Forest and trained for a while.
