569 Meeting Charya

"Rose. It's been a while. How are you doing?"

The voice that she missed so much finally resounded on her ears. She turned around and looked at Alex with happiness.

Because of the matter from several years ago about Alex's sudden disappearance, Anna told her how to rescue Alex from his family matter. This was the sole reason she managed to put up with all the training.

Back then, Alex saved her at her lowest time and raised her to be a dignified person. This time, she wanted to help him. Rose didn't make any excessive attack on Erze because it might bring trouble to him. 

However, the nostalgic voice and figure stood tall not far from her. Besides him were a muscular man and a tiny woman. Both of them stretched their hands toward them. Now that she thought about it, the reason she could hit the elder lay on their help. 

"Who… who are you?" The elder frowned as he glared at the trio before remembering how Rose called him. "Master… You- You are…"

The shock planted on his face looked amusing. Alex couldn't help but chuckle as he said, "You have bullied my disciple; how would I deal with you?"

As he said that, Alex appeared behind Rose in an instant. Even though he was surprised, the Martial King Elder would struggle just to follow his movement. He quickly released his power to check Alex cultivation, but couldn't sense the depth of his cultivation. 

"You… You are far above the Martial Emperor Stage." The elder gasped. A few years ago, Alex was only a Martial Lord, and now he had reached Martial Emperor Stage and a high-level one at that. This situation would surely become troublesome, he thought. 

"Your excellency. We are still under the order of the Joyful Union Sect… I believe we should just end the matter here. I will bring my nephew away from here." The elder said while sweating. He was planning to run away from here because engaging with a Martial Emperor would only result in death. As soon as he ran away, he would report the matter to his family before telling the Joyful Union Sect about this.

Unfortunately, his plan would only be a pipe dream, especially when Alex suddenly took a person's head out of his Space Ring. "Do you think I will spare you? From bullying my disciple this whole time, you are sure planning deep… Sadly, the only outcome for you today is death like this guy."

The head stunned Erze and the elder. It was a head of someone they knew… and would never forget. 

"Fat-ther!" Erze uttered the head's identity. This was the person Alex killed not long ago, Rafii Sansui, Erze's father. As the family head, this was enough to prove that he had destroyed their family.

Secondly, Alex killed the Sansuin Family and escaped from the relentless assault from Joyful Union Sect to this place. Although he didn't know whether the Joyful Union Sect would attack him on this continent or not, it was a bad situation for them nonetheless.

If he couldn't escape from this place, the only result was death. In that way, he wanted to reason with him first so they could escape. 

Little did he know there was the third possibility. The elder didn't consider it as a possibility because he thought it was impossible. There was no way Alex could destroy the Joyful Union Sect, one of the seven first-rate influences on the Northern Continent.

Meanwhile, Alex simply smiled, looking at his expression. This made the elder even scared because he knew the confidence behind that smile.

"Your Exce-" The elder tried another reasoning, but he saw Alex patting Rose's shoulder.

He said, "Rose. This is your matter. I will handle the elder, so you can handle that one."

"Ye-yes, Master." Rose nodded furiously before calming her heart down. She didn't know why Alex appeared in this place, but she certainly couldn't let him down. 

Rose pulled her bow again, using her strongest strike. "Draconic Attack."

Erze shuddered after noticing the killing intent from Rose. This time, she was seriously going to kill him. "Elder!" 

The elder flew in front of him to block this attack, but before the strike arrived, Alex appeared in front of the elder, swinging his sword.

"No. You don't!" Even with the big difference against him, the elder only gritted his teeth and challenged Alex by swinging his sword toward Alex's sword.

Looking at this, Alex merely smiled as the sword moved faster than lightning. It was true that the elder realized his sword struck from above. What he didn't know was that he used his original Sword Skill, Triple Draws.

One strike really came from above, but there were two other strikes beside the first strike. The elder noticed the strikes a bit too late as it already passed his sword.

"This... Impossible." The shock planted on his face as he noticed that the two strikes sent his hands flying. The pain came a second after that like it just realized the arms were cut. 

This was the difference between the Sword Emperor. In fact, if Alex were a Martial King, he would die after taking Joyful Union Sect First Elder's strike from head-on, even if he was a peak Martial King. 

Alex glanced at his back before vanishing from the scene. 

"Roar!" The dragon roared while flying toward the elder. 

The elder wanted to block this dragon, but he lost his two arms. He lifted up his foot to kick the dragon, but he didn't have enough time.

"Boom!"

Rose's Draconic Arrow already crashed onto his body. Although he took the blow head-on, as expected from an 8-Star Martial King, he was still alive.

Alex looked at the old man's body, which had been covered with blood. He chose to end this man's life quickly, so he raised his hand and pointed his finger at the old man.

"Flame of Extinction."

An intense heat came out of his finger before releasing a laser at the old man. Because of his wound and timing, the old man didn't manage to dodge, and the laser pierced through his skull, killing him in an instant.

"Young Master, run…" The last words he uttered were still about Erze. It would seem that this man had a loyal heart. He was better than the two-face elders in the main family, Alex thought. Sadly, that alone wouldn't be enough to redeem his life.

Erze was too shocked to react. Rose might use her arrow to somehow injure him, but it was Alex who did the most. His hands and feet started trembling while his body was shaking uncontrollably.

Alex paid no heed to his state and looked at Rose for a few seconds before saying, "I see. A peak Earth Tier Art huh… only one step away from entering Heaven Tier Art. It's good enough for your present state."

"This is all thanks to Master's guidance," Rose said with a big smile. Even though she tried to be humble, Alex's praise just brought her so much joy. 

"Haha, you little girl…" Alex looked at Rose, who seemed to have grown up. When he picked Rose, she was only a 12-13 years old little girl. The time he spent in the other world, and the Northern Continent gave this little girl a chance to become a teenager.

Her light-blue wavy hair swayed by the wind as her undeveloped body slowly turned into a charming one. Rose, who never cared about what she wore, finally put on good clothes. The clothes didn't have many decorations or weird patterns, but the simple design gave her a natural feeling. After appreciating her new appearance, Alex glanced at Erze, who was scared out of his life. He patted her shoulders while saying, "Alright. I will be staying on this continent for a day or two before leaving again for another matter. After you deal with him, come to my… house? Or is there another person who lived there now?"

"No way. Master's place would be a special place. Even if Elder Charya took in another disciple, at most, he or she would probably stay on Elder Sister Song Yu's or Putri's house." Rose smirked. Of course, she didn't tell him that she was living in his house the entire time even after Charya gave her an option to change house, afraid she would be missing Alex if she stayed inside.

Unfortunately, the stubborn little girl considered Alex's house a challenge from Alex as she wanted to graduate from Heavenly Sword Sect and Alex's house.

Rose wanted to hug him to show how much she missed him like the usual thing she did when Alex trained her, albeit she needed to show some restraint in front of this many people. 

In the end, she simply pulled her bow again and aimed at Erze.

Before pulling her bow, a shout reverberated from the horizon as a woman figure slowly made its appearance. "Rose. I am going to help you." 

Alex turned around to see who it was, but the voice alone was already enough to recognize her. It was Charya.

At the same time, thinking it was the best chance he would ever get, Erze turned around and escaped.

Unfortunately, this time, Leoz appeared in front of him as a few lightning balls appeared around his body.

"Thunder Ring. Expand and Become a Cage." The lightning balls expanded to a hundred-meter radius before creating a circle.

Erze and Leoz were inside the circle. At the same time, Leoz snapped his finger and created another spark on the lightning balls. Then, each ball created a layer of lightning and connected with each other. This looked like an electric ball trapped. "You are not going anywhere."

Erze's face became pale, knowing that the person in front of him was much stronger than him.

Leoz only did his job to prevent the target from escaping while letting Alex have their own little space for a few minutes.

Alex also noticed the sudden movement of Erze, so he turned around and nodded to Leoz before turning back to Charya.

When Charya appeared beside Rose, she quickly scanned her first to ensure she wasn't injured. "Are you alright? Do you have any injuries? Is he doing anything to you? I am sorry for being late since the meeting was too long."

"Elder Charya, thank you for your concern. But everything is going to be alright now." Rose smiled at her, assuring her with the best smile she could ever give. Charya always took care and observed her this whole time, so Rose was thankful for her.

"Good Good. Don't worry. I will handle the matter over here. You can go to the clan." Charya nodded furiously as she said apologetically. She took the blame of this blunder very deeply. 

"Don't worry, Elder. Master helped me earlier." Rose assured her.

"Ehm. Right. There is someone beside you earlier." Charya didn't take the 'Master' word from Rose's mouth seriously and turned around to see the person's appearance.

She was stunned the moment she looked at his face and golden hair. 

Alex only smiled as he said, "It's been a few years, Elder Charya. Thank you for taking care of this little disciple of mine."

"Master, I am not little anymore." Rose pouted. 

"Are… are you really, Alex?" Charya asked with a shocked tone. Even though the answer was right in front of her, she still couldn't believe it.

"Yeah. I am Alex. I have met Senior Sister and Putri on the Heavenly Continent. Well… how about coming inside first. I also want to talk about Evelyn." Alex smiled.

"Yeah. Sure." Charya nodded before taking a glimpse of Erze. 

"Don't worry. Rose will handle that person, and no problem will come to Heavenly Sword Sect." Alex laughed before saying, "Let's go."

After taking another look, Charya nodded and followed him inside.
