Chapter 147 - Let Go Of Me

"Miss, is your name Vira?" Asked a police officer in the cemetery area who was on guard.

Vira did not understand why the police approached her, she stood up and nodded her head.

Hazel beside her looked confused. Why did a policeman approach Vira, is there something wrong with them?

"Then come with me!"

"Hah!" Vira was surprised to hear the police request.

"Why, why did she have to come with you?" Hazel asked with a confused face, he was on Vira's side.

"I have to secure you, there are special orders to look for you."

Vira and Hazel couldn't believe the explanation of the sturdy, big police in front of them.

"But, should I know the reasons in more detail, securing, I do not understand the word." vira hissed, she turned to Hazel, worried in her eyes.

"She's right sir, you have to give the clear and detailed first." Hazel braced herself, protecting Vira.

"I didn't get a detailed explanation but if this madam came with me to the office, maybe you guys would know the reason behind this order." What the police say is getting weirder.

In the end, Vira and hazel-- he didn't leave Vira alone, he followed her everywhere until they sat at the police station.

Hazel and Vira waited in a room with.

"I will call the chief of police, he will meet you." Said the first cop who brought them here.

vira glanced at Hazel, she looked worried.

Hazel understood the meaning of those gazed. "I'm with you, don't worry, we'll find out what's going on in a minute."

He tried to calm her down.

"But, did you commit a crime and something like that?" Hazel asked.

hearing Hazel's question, Vira pursed her lips. "Do I look like a criminal? I can't even kill a mosquito."

Vira's words made Hazel laugh, the atmosphere was a little less tense than before.

After waiting for a while, Vira was surprised to find a familiar face entering, joining her and Hazel in this not-so-big room.

Vino came with a panicked face and sweat was pouring down his body, he hugged his wife tightly.

"What happened to you, where did you go, why did you leave the hospital, how are you?" So many questions and fears from Vino's eyes.

Seeing her husband who was panicking, Vira just stood still, she didn't even return Vino's hug.

Kim and Broto were with Vino, they just stared at Vino who hugged his wife tightly.

Hazel stood up from the chair, he felt awkward being in this kind of atmosphere then the police chief came in in official clothes.

"We found Mrs. Vira in the cemetery area, she is not in trouble or serious cases, maybe you guys should have communicated often." Explanations containing satire.

"Does this mean, securing what is meant is--" Hazel said cautiously, he saw Vino's panicked and tired face.

He saw the faces of Kim and Broto who were no less tense.

Then.

Vira's face was blank. This was a difficult situation, Hazel thought, but he didn't understand the real situation.

"We only receive reports of loss after 1x 24 hours, but for Mr. Vino, we are trying our best,"

Vino loosened his hug, he nodded his head then gave a faint smile to the police chief. "Thank you, sir, you helped me, even though I insisted, you still did the best, I am very grateful." He said reluctantly.

"Does not matter." replied the police chief casually, but there was a strange look on his face.

Vira was speechless, after hearing what the police chief said, she understood that it was her husband who asked the police to look for her.

She wanted to laugh funny finding Vino's way to find her but unfortunately, she was not in the mood to laugh this time.

Broto invites Hazel to leave this strange atmosphere, they will stay at the resort villa, as well as Kim, he invites Kim too.

vino and Vira, they will return to their previous room because they don't go back to town, he is still worried about his wife's health.

Arriving at the room, Vino rushed to clean his body while Vira sat quietly on the edge of the bed, her eyes still looked blank.

vino out from the bathroom in a kimono with straps around his waist, he didn't dry his hair properly, he looked in a hurry maybe he was afraid of his wife disappeared again

"Vira, do you want to go take a shower? Or shall I call the maid to clean your body?" he asked attentively.

Vira didn't answer, just kept quiet.

Vino felt strange then he approached Vira, squatted in front of Vira who was sitting on the edge of the bed, he lifted his head, looked at his wife's face with deep eyes full of love.

"Hey, what's wrong, is there something wrong, are you still dizzy? How about something bad in your stomach." Vino stroked his wife's stomach gently, he looked very happy.

He put his head on Vira's stomach for a moment then looked back at his wife's face with sparkling eyes.

"If you don't feel well, I'll call the doctor," Vin said.

But Vira was still silent, she locked her mouth.

Vino was silent for a while, still looking at Vira's face, he raised his eyebrows, not understanding his wife's attitude.

"Vira, are you… okay?" He asked again, he was very worried about his wife's condition, especially when she was pregnant.

"Or do you want to eat something, the food you want?" Vino got up from a squatting position, he gave his back to Vira, he took the receiver, intending to order food for them.

"You can ask me a lot of questions." Vira's voice surprised Vino.

vino failed to press the button on the phone.

He looked at his wife's face which was still staring blankly, and now Vira was looking down by playing with her trembling fingers.

"What is wrong?" Vino whispered with fear in his heart, he was afraid that Vira was still sick and was out of the hospital too soon.

He should have taken his wife back to the hospital for treatment, but why did he bring her here instead.

"I'll call an ambulance." vino again busy with the buttons on the phone.

"I'm not sick but I'm hurt." Vira's voice sounded weak and trembling. "You ask a lot of things but you leave out the crux of the matter that you should have asked first."

vira lifted her chin, she returned her husband's worried look with different eyes. Her eyes were heavy, deep, and terrifying.

"Why are you looking for me with the help of the police, can't you search in a normal way, I know that you are a great and powerful person, but your way is beyond logic." Vira hissed.

It was clear that her gaze this time was not friendly, different from usual.

Vino left the phone and stepped in front of Vira.

Vira stood so that they were facing each other.

"Why don't you ask, why I was there this afternoon, why I visited the tomb. Oh, I see." Vira made a cynical smile.

"I understand because you already know the answer because you know why I was there. Isn't that right?" She asked in a muffled voice.

"What's wrong, did something bad happen?" Vino took his wife's hands, giving them a warm grip.

Vira pulled her hand and her behavior surprised Vino, his heart seemed to stop for a moment.

Vino looked into his wife's tense face. "What is wrong?" He asked again.

Vira made a small grin. "What's wrong? I should be the one asking you." She answered in an unpleasant tone.

"What's wrong with you, why are you keeping all this as if you don't know anything in front of me, what's wrong with you, you're acting normal with all the facts you already know, you're amazing."

"What you are saying, I understand, you need time to rest, you must be very tired and your body is not as strong as before." Vino tried to avoid arguing, he was afraid, he kept fear in his heart.

"I'm going to get some food, you want something special?" He asked without looking at Vira, he walked towards the main room, intending to leave the room. He forgot about his clothes.

"You are a coward!" Said Vira's slightly rose voice.

Vino's footsteps stopped hearing his wife's curse.

"You're good at hiding from anything. You're just amazing."

Vino can not let Vira like this.

He turned his body, his eyes looked dim looking at Vira's face.

"You're right, I'd rather be a coward than I should be..." he was at a loss for words.

"You are pregnant so you have mood swings, I'm wrong if I serve your annoyance, I will get out of the room, you try to rest, I will wake up if you need something, press the bell on it." Vino left his wife.

"I don't want to sit back and rest here," Vira replied with a trembling voice.

"Do you understand my feelings?" She cried and made Vino's heart sting. "Being next to you, among those people! Do you understand what it's like to be me?" Her tears were getting heavier.

Vino ran and hugged his wife. He could feel his wife's body shaking.

"Can you understand me?" Vira's voice was hoarse.

Vino shook his head. "I don't want to lose you. I don't want to..."

Vira pulled Vino's hand to free herself from the hug that made her body heavy and her chest tight.

Vino refused, he hugged his wife again.

"Let go of me, I can't live with my mother's killer."

Vino cries.
