Kakarot watched from the sidelines, full of excitement, as his brother battled the self-proclaimed perfect being Cell. The two had finished their impressive warm-up round and were ready to get serious about the fight. Kakarot stared down at his now Super Saiyan son to see if Gohan was as captivated by the fight as he was. During their training in the Room of Spirit and Time, Kakarot believed they had ascended to the next stage of a Super Saiyan. He was looking forward to testing whether he was correct or not in his belief. But if his brother was victorious, he would need to look for another opportunity.

Raditz effortlessly jumped into his Super Saiyan form, surprising his allies. The collection of Saiyan warriors were stunned by how gentle the output of the emperor's Ki was while maintaining its potency. After Gohan unlocked his transformation, he and his father spent their time training in the Super Saiyan state to adapt to the strain it causes the body. They both could tell Raditz's skill in controlling his Ki was on another level. Vegeta had difficulty coming to terms with the fact Raditz yet again surpassed the limits of his imagination.

A golden aura enveloped Cell as he powered up, matching his opponent's moves. The time traveling terror used its Saiyan genetics to transform into a Super state, complete with golden blonde hair. The pair of fighters once more initiated their high speed combat. Jimmy Firecracker was at a loss for words, completely dumbfounded by what he was seeing, or not seeing, rather. The only images Lionel could get, were of the stone pillars adorning the ring exploding.

When the fighter appeared again this time, they both seemed to have taken damage from the exchange. Cell, clearly, received the lion's share of the damage because he lost a leg at some point during the exchange. The mutant cyborg concentrated his Ki into the remaining stump of his leg and almost instantaneously regenerated the limb. The reports could tell by the smug expression on Cell's face, he considered the loss of his leg as only a minor irritation.

"Your skill is undeniable to be able to take off one of my limbs." Cell praised. "Unfortunately for you, I have the regenerative ability of a Namekian. You don't have any tricks I am not prepared for."

"You really think so?" Raditz questioned.

The emperor's size started to increase as he focused his power. He let out a roar as his muscle mass increased, signifying the use of his Ape Power. Even the media crew knew something unusual was going on inside the ring.

"The Emperor seems to be building his power!" Jimmy commented, "I'm not being hyperbolic when I say you can feel the pressure from this distance."

Cell observed his opponent's transformation with interest, allowing the emperor to complete building his power. When the transformation was finished, a large and intimidating Raditz stood before the artificial being. The overly arrogant Cell was unimpressed by the massive increase in the Saiyan's power.

"You think you stand a chance against me in that form?" Cell laughed, "Even I could do something like that, but it's pointless. That form's size severely hinders speed."

A front kick from Raditz sent Cell spinning into the air. The creature barely had the chance to react to the speed the emperor used to close the distance. He narrowly managed to bring his arms up to block the kick aimed at his chin. It took no time for Cell to get his bearings, and begin his counterattack against his Saiyan foe.

Because the DNA taken from Raditz came from when he was a child, it didn't have the mutation the emperor underwent during the Hyper Moon event. Cell was caught off guard by the lack of a speed decrease he thought the form would carry. Even though he miscalculated about the speed of the form, Cell still remained confident in his superiority. He had the genetic skills, traits, and techniques of the strongest lifeforms. In his estimation, the chance of him losing was nearly zero.

A well timed Solar Flare from Cell blinded Raditz as he rapidly approached through the air. The emperor was forced to tightly shut his eyes because of the searing light. Cell used the opening to strike out at his blinded enemy. Using his Ki Field technique, Raditz was able to block the chain of blows unleashed by Cell.

The moment his vision returned, Raditz immediately began his counterattack. The two hovered in the air, continually striking back and forth at dizzying speeds, searching for an opening. Each successful block shook the area, causing Mr. Satan to become more aware of his inadequacies. He barely manage to learn the flying technique, and there was no way he could use it while fighting.

Jimmy Firecracker and his cameraman were blown back head over heels by the ring exploding into a shower of debris. Mr. Satan fearfully wobbled back to his feet after getting knocked down by the sudden blast.

"What?" the confused reporter didn't understand what had occurred, "What happened?"

"I didn't see." Tights hadn't witnessed what caused the blast, either.

"Raditz hit Cell into the middle of the ring." Vegeta explained.

"Oh." Tights seemed satisfied with his answer.

Jimmy and Lionel weren't positive about the answer they heard, but had no way to refute the explanation. Both reporter and cameraman were stunned when they saw that the Champ looked just as horrified by scene as they were.

"Mr. Satan! This fighter said the Emperor hit the monster into the arena so hard it caused the explosion. What do you think about his explanation?" Jimmy asked.

Mr. Satan was pulled out of his daze by the voice of the reporter questioning him. It took him a moment to realize what was happening. When he did, he quickly adopted his confident persona for the camera, fearing it wouldn't look good for his endorsement deals if he looked afraid.

"Ah," Mr. Satan struggled to think of an answer, "Of course that's what happened, Jimmy! It's obvious the Emperor would be able to move faster than the normal eye can see! Hahaha!"

When the dust settled, Cell stood at the bottom of a crater where the ring previously resided. The expression on his face was twisted in anger. Not only was he outside the ring, but the ring he spent time on constructing was completely destroyed. If it wasn't it would have been his loss due to a ring out, but seeing as how there was no longer a ring, ring outs were no longer applicable. Just the idea of nearly losing was enough to send Cell over the edge.

He crouched down with clenched fists to charge his Ki. His golden aura blazed around him as boulders lifted from the crater. The ground shook violently from the surging Ki, Cell was building up. When he finished, the boulders dropped back to Earth, shattering on impact. Cell exhaled and looked up, locking eyes with Raditz before disappearing from the crater.

Raditz rapidly looked around trying to locate his opponent who was at the bottom of a crater. Cell's speed reached a whole new level as he appeared behind the emperor. Before he could react to the presence of Cell, Raditz was already caught in his opponent's combination attackThe emperor was rocked by the flurry of strikes to his back. The finishing heel kick to Raditz's skull sent the Saiyan crashing into the ground, creating a new crater.

Cell was pleased that he was able to return his previous humiliation. The reporters, once again, were unable to determine what exactly had occurred on the battlefield. Even with the most advanced high speed tracking camera on the market, the fighters movements still remained unseen. They did manage to glimpse a golden streak of light race into the sky from the crater, followed by the sound of impacts resounding through the area.

"What happened now?" Jimmy looked around at his companions for an answer.

Lionel shrugged his shoulders from behind the camera. Tights shook her head, confirming she didn't have a clue either. She looked to Vegeta to provide an explanation to the group again. The Saiyan reluctantly answered her question as simple as possible.

"Raditz was hit into the ground, then flew back out and started fighting again." Vegeta said.

In the sky, the battle between Cell and Raditz continued to rage on, becoming more destructive with each passing second. Massive explosions were set off in the distance by deflected or stray Ki blasts. When the fighters landed, the landscape in the area where the ring stood had started to become affected by the battle . Now that they were still, Lionel zoomed in on the fighters, once again letting the people watching get a look at the competitors.

"It is amazing you have lasted this long." Cell praised, "But unlike you, I am comprised of the most advanced biology and technology ever conceived."

"What's your point?" Raditz asked.

"We may be nearly equal in strength, but you will tire, whereas I have infinite energy."Cell explained, "You might as well surrender this match and allow one of your allies to fight. After you rest, I will be more than willing to fight you again."

"You think I would do something as reckless as handing off a fight I can win? I must have rattled your perfect brain harder than I thought." Raditz taunted.

"So be it. I tried to give you another chance. You are a fool if you believe you can defeat me." Cell remained convinced he would ultimately prove victorious. "But if you do have something more, I want to see it."

"Fine. Prepare to die." Raditz answered.

The green haired Super Saiyan charged his energy, causing everyone to become alarmed by the spike in power coming from him. The pressure from his energy was overwhelming to his unprepared allies. Vegeta moved closer to the location of the fight to confirm what his senses were telling him. Not only had it turned out Raditz mastered the Super Saiyan form, but he might have taken it further, if the Ki building up was any indication.

The Emperor's long green hair became even more pointed as his Ki continued to rise. Cell could feel his body begin to panic from the massive output of energy before him. The golden aura enveloping Raditz manifested blue lightning that danced across it. With one last scream, Raditz finished his transformation, blowing away all the surrounding debris.

"What is this?" Cell took a step back, "How is this possible?"

Raditz appeared behind his frightened opponent delivering a devastating punch to Cell's back. The fierce strike removed the monsters arm and half of its torso. A waterfall of purple blood fell from the massive wound before it quickly regenerated. All thought ceased after the next hit removed the entirety of Cell's upper body, disintegrating it into a fine mist.

The pair of legs that survived the second attack from the Super Saiyan 2 Raditz fell harmlessly to the ground. The Emperor grabbed the bisected body by the ankles and tossed it into the air. After Raditz made the toss, Cell regenerated mid flight, stopping himself.

"If I have to die then this planet shouldn't exist either!" Cell shouted, "This entire world is forfeit!"

The creature's energy quickly rose as its body started to swell. Cell had initiated his self destruct function to win the fight. The combined might of the bombs absorbed from the cyborgs should have no trouble destroying the planet, and everyone along with it.

Anticipating this move, Raditz fired his newly created Garden Wave attack towards his inflating opponent. When Cell saw the wide blue beam streaking towards him, he knew he hadn't gathered enough energy to explode. He tried to fight back against the burning push of the beam, but it was too powerful for him, especially in his self destruct mode.

The beam pushed Cell out of the edge of the atmosphere and into the vacuum of space. The crazed monster was half filled with energy when the beam consumed him, causing a massive explosion in space. Raditz continued to stare into the sky waiting to see whether or not Cell manages to regenerate. Reiss was filled with pride, getting the chance to witness his father once again emerge from a major battle victorious.
