Chapter 96 - The End Of The Ning Family Part 3

On Kable's command, hundreds of vampires got into position. While the other races may be less than normal humans, there were still tens of thousands of each kind. That being said, the strict rule that the Vorn family has upheld about staying in the dark and the on the surface harmony that each race had with one another was to keep an all out war from happening. If such a thing were to actually happen, then many countries or even the world could be turned upside down in a matter of hours. The powers of other races were much greater than even the nuclear weapons that the humans possessed. Their small weapons could not even kill an elven mage who could easily create a barrier around themselves and walk away unscathed or unaffected by the radiation.

Because of this, the other races rarely used human weapons as they were useless. They used weapons forged with magic, such as swords, hammers, and other melee weapons. While some would use the magi tech created by the dwarves. This consisted of guns and other kinds of projectiles that were imbued with magic.

The same could also be said about the places these races lived in. While properties of these races seemed normal from the outside, the insides were lined with what humans would call supernatural defensives. The deeper you dived into the darkness of the underworld, the more wonderful and magical it all seemed. But this wonderful and magical fantasy that the humans loved to dream about was filled with much bloodshed. It was a world where human laws did not exist and was governed by the dark world council. They were above the leaders of the human world, and only they were in touch with these world leaders.

With this all being said, for Kable to mobilize so many vampires at once showed just how big the Ning family was. Kable followed his people into the Ning family estate that was located in the countryside. From the outside, it would seem like a simple farm, but it was nothing of the sort. Using a kind of illusion barrier, it hid the small city behind it. No one would notice anything wrong as the barrier repelled humans. If they got close to it, they would avoid it without realizing it.

As soon as his people entered the estate, the orc elders all came rushing out with hundreds of orcs behind them. "Kable Vorn, what is the meaning of this!?"

The leader of the Ning family, the highest ranking elder Ning Yuhan, yelled in anger as he looked at the vampires storming in. "My meaning? Is it not obvious? I am here to rid the world of the Ning family. Your people tried to touch something they should not have. So as punishment, your entire clan must live six feet underground. Kill them all!"

The vampires did not stop slaughtering any orc they saw, even with their two leaders talking. Ning Yuhan's face turned purple with anger. He did not know what happened to ruin his plans, but he wasn't going to let things end so early! "Kable Vorn! You will never be able to keep the dark world under your control. The times are changing! Your control will one day be broken, and those who have hidden in the dark for so long will finally see the light and take over what is rightfully ours!"

"Enough talk!" Kable yelled back as he charged forward. He waved his hand, causing a tornado of fire to appear on the back lines of the orcs, incinerating anything it touched.

Seeing his people quickly succumbing to the vampires, Ning Yuhan's face was purple with hate. He hated vampires the most. They always stood at the top and looked down on the other races controlling them as they pleased. When he saw Kable charging at him, he quickly transformed and stood almost twenty meters tall. He swung his fist and slammed it towards Kable with everything he had. He did not think that with his power as an Elder orc that even Kable would not be able to withstand his full forced punch. But sadly, this thought did not last long as Kable stood there with a mocking grin on his face.

Kable held his hand out and extended one finger. The huge fist that was bearing down on him collided with his finger. But instead of Kable being blown away, the fist seemed to have been frozen in time as the single finger blocked the blow. The kinetic energy that was built up retracted in on itself, causing the bones in Ning Yuhan's arm to shatter into dust.

"Ahhh!" Ning Yuhan screamed in pain. He looked at Kable with horror in his eyes. A single finger was able to block his full strength punch and even shatter his bones. He never expected the demon of the underworld was actually this strong!

Tilting his head to the side, Kable smiled and asked: "Do you want to try using your other arm now?"

"You! Don't think it will be that easy! Zorlack! We had a deal!" Ning Yuhan yelled out. His words causing Kable to frown.

"Humph!" A figure appeared next to Ning Yuhan. Its tattered black robe swayed in the breeze. Under the hood that covered its head was complete blackness. Only the boney hands and arms could be seen through the tatters of the robes sleeves. This was a wraith, an undead being with magic power greater than the elves. They were rarely seen, and no one actually knew the total numbers of their kind, but they could be said to be very powerful. "Kable Vorn…."

"I thought wraiths did not want to interfere with worldly affairs. Why have your kind crossed over to this plane?" Kable asked. He felt something was off, seeing how a wraith was here.

"Hmmm? What we do is none of your kinds' business." After saying this, he turned and disappeared, leaving behind a confused Ning Yuhan.

"You! Damn you, Zorlack!" Coming to his senses, all Ning Yuhan could do was a curse.. He turned and looked at his people dying one after the other and knew this was the end of his Ning family. Clenching his fist, he glared at Kable and yelled: "Since it has come to this… I will fight you all to the death!"
