Chapter 141 - A Gentleman's Invitation

Chapter 141 A Gentleman’s Invitation

“Rodney, you like boys doesn’t mean all the boys in the world like boys.” The girl sitting beside Rodney rolled her eyes.

If such a handsome and excellent boy was gay too, how were girls supposed to live?

The girls couldn’t take their eyes off Bevis. Being stared at by so many burning gazes, Bevis frowned.

Just as he was wondering if he should wait for Jocelyn somewhere more inconspicuous, the bell rang, signaling the end of the class. Professor Russell glared at Bevis angrily.

It was this annoying fellow who had been standing outside the window the entire time. If it wasn’t for him, his students wouldn’t be distracted.

Professor Russell adjusted his glasses and put the book under his arm before pushing the door and walking out. When he came to Bevis, he stopped and sized him up with a sharp gaze.

Even though they were both men, and even though Professor Russell had seen a lot of people, he had to admit that Bevis was indeed good-looking

“I don’t care which school you’re from. In the future, you’re not allowed to stand outside the door when I teach. If I catch you again, I’ll tell your professor to fail you.”

For the students, this was definitely a very harsh punishment and very bad news. However, Bevis was no longer in school.

This punishment was as harmless as a feather to him, but Bevis still nodded with an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry, Professor. It’s my fault. I’ll pay attention next time.”

The way that Bevis apologized made Professor Russel look a lot more pleased. He tightened his grip on the book under his arm and walked past Bevis.

The classroom became lively after the professor left. Bevis adjusted his clothes and walked in with a sunflower in his arms. When Bevis stood in front of Jocelyn, she was packing up her books, planning to leave and find Eliza. However, the commotion in the class made her look up in wonder.

“Mr. Bevis, what are you doing here?” Jocelyn looked surprised. She remembered that Bevis was not a student of Ivy University.

Looking at Jocelyn’s fair face that had a healthy glow to it, Bevis was amazed again. It was a pity that such a beautiful lady already had a fiancé who was even the leader of South Side.

Bevis maintained a polite smile on his face, making it impossible to guess what he was thinking.

He handed the sunflower in his arms to Jocelyn. “Of course I came to Ivy University to see you. I wonder if I have the honor to invite Miss Jocelyn to dinner with me.”

Bevis extended his palm and handed it to Jocelyn, making an invitation gesture.

At this scene, the girls couldn’t help but cover their mouths to suppress their excitement.

They did not want their voices to ruin this beautiful moment, but someone could not help but discuss in a low voice.

“Hey, Rodney, I told you he likes girls.” The girl sitting beside Rodney smiled at him provocatively and proudly.

Her expression annoyed Rodney, making him feel like his sexual orientation had been violated and discriminated against. Rodney felt that the veins on his forehead were bulging. He looked at the girl in front of him angrily and gasped for air.

The smugness on the girl’s face disappeared when she saw what was happening. She looked at Rodney uneasily and even moved away from

him.

She kept feeling that Rodney was very dangerous, as if he would grab her and eat her alive in any second.

Before Rodney could say anything, he had already scared the girl pale.
