Chapter 108 Eliza, the Queen of All the Men

“As much as I hate to admit it, you’re right.” Eliza let go of her hand and looked at the print of her finger on Jocelyn’s cheek. She rubbed her nose guiltily. But then Eliza’s eyes lit up. She placed her hands on Jocelyn’s face and squeezed it into all kinds of shapes. There was envy in her voice.

“Why is your skin as tender as a baby’s? I can see red marks on it whenever I touch it. I’m so envious.”

“What kind of skincare products did you use? Tell me quickly, I want to become like you!”

Eliza pretended to be fierce and bared her teeth, threatening Jocelyn with a fiendish look. Not only was Jocelyn not afraid, but she also smiled until her eyes curved.

Jocelyn removed Eliza’s hand from her face and explained, “I don’t have any expensive skincare products. What I use every day is baby cream.”

At the thought of how petty Jocelyn’s stepmother was and how badly treated Jocelyn was at the Wilson family, Eliza realized that Jocelyn indeed couldn’t use expensive skincare products.

In fact, Jocelyn even paid the university tuition fee with the money she earned from her part-time job. At the thought of this, Eliza immediately believed what Jocelyn said.

“Then which brand of baby cream are you using? I’ll start using baby cream tomorrow and see if I can get the same skin condition as

you.”

Eliza pinched Jocelyn’s face again reluctantly before withdrawing her hand.

Jocelyn told Eliza about the brand she usually used. She watched as Eliza jotted down the brand name on her phone. Jocelyn’s eyes turned into glittering stars because of the smile and the gentleness.

Just as Jocelyn and Eliza were chatting and laughing, a nurse and doctor walked in. The two of them checked Jocelyn’s body and found that her fever had gone away and that even the wounds on her body had almost recovered.

The doctor said, “Since you are almost fully recovered, you can go back home and apply the ointment yourself if you so wish.”

“Oh, right. Remember to pay the hospitalization fee before you are discharged.” The doctor blinked playfully, but his gaze lingered on Eliza for an instant.

After the nurse left the ward, the doctor did not leave immediately. Instead, he turned around and came to her bed.

Seeing the doctor return, Jocelyn asked in a daze, “Is there anything you forgot to instruct me?”

“Oh, it’s not that. Don’t get me wrong.” The doctor waved at Jocelyn and turned to Eliza.

The next moment, the doctor took out his name card from his shirt pocket and handed it to Eliza.

“Hello, my name is Alva Toran. You can just call me Alva. Please allow me to get to know you in such a terrible way. But can you give me a chance to have dinner with you?”

A doctor was wearing a white uniform and gold-rimmed glasses. His dazzling golden hair was combed to the back of his head, revealing his smooth forehead. He looked like a gentleman in a movie.

Eliza took the name card from him and smiled. “I’ll contact you if I have time.”

Although Eliza did not agree immediately, she did not reject him outright. Alva looked pretty happy.

“Beautiful ladies always have special privileges. I hope you won’t forget me soon.” Alva gave Eliza a flying kiss before leaving Jocelyn’s room.

“If I remember correctly, didn’t you like that type of guy?” Jocelyn looked at Eliza in confusion. Could it be that her friend suddenly wanted to change her type?

Unlike Jocelyn, who had never touched a boy’s hand since she was young, Eliza had countless boyfriends.

She and Jocelyn were two completely different extremes.

Jocelyn had once advised Eliza to find a permanent and long-term boyfriend and get married.

However, Eliza did not listen to her at all and continued to do whatever she wanted.

As time passed, Jocelyn stopped persuading Eliza. Sometimes, she would even introduce a man to Eliza.

Looking at Jocelyn’s large eyes, Eliza flirtatiously brushed her long hair and said indifferently, “I want to be by your side more than eating with him.”
