Although she thought that way, Jocelyn still smiled in front of Eliza.

However, her fake smile was too obvious that Eliza could tell at a glance that she was sad.

She didn’t look like someone who just heard good news.

“What happens? Did the public opinion start to reverse again while I’m on my way here? What did those netizens who don’t know anything say about you?”

As she spoke, she turned on her phone. Just as she was about to enter the keywords to search, she was stopped by Jocelyn.

“There’s nothing new on the internet. It’s just like what you said.” Jocelyn shook her head.

“Since it’s the same, why are you unhappy? Don’t tell me…” Eliza sized up Jocelyn curiously as she spoke.

Eliza narrowed her eyes slightly and started to move closer to Jocelyn. Looking at Eliza, who was getting closer and closer to her and staring at something, Jocelyn started to panic.

Jocelyn quickly reached to block Eliza from looking at her.

“Eliza, what are you looking at?” Jocelyn looked a little uncomfortable.

“Your actions and expression tell me that something happened to you that I don’t know about.” Eliza raised her chin slightly and said with certainty.

“If I’m not wrong, there are red kiss marks on your neck. Also, you didn’t turn on your phone yesterday. Normal people can’t stand the pain of not checking their phones, so someone must have done something to

distract you.”

“Red kiss marks plus distraction. You must have been with a man yesterday.”

“If I’m not wrong, there must still be other traces he left on you.”

As Eliza spoke to speculate about what had happened to Jocelyn yesterday, she pointed a finger at Jocelyn’s nose.

“The fact that you didn’t refute what I said just now proves that I guessed everything correctly.”

Feeling guilty that Eliza had hit the nail on the head, Jocelyn quickly avoided Eliza’s gaze.

“You… stop saying.” Jocelyn twisted around to avoid looking at Eliza, but she didn’t let go of the hand that was covering the kiss mark on her neck.

Even though Eliza was her best friend, Jocelyn still felt extremely embarrassed when she told her about it.

Looking at Jocelyn’s red ears, Eliza reached out and fiddled with her shoulder. “Are you being shy now? What’s there to be shy about? You’re already an adult. Isn’t it normal for you to spend the night with a man?”

“You’re a normal person too. You have normal needs.” Seeing that Jocelyn refused to turn her head to look at her, Eliza poked Jocelyn on the shoulder again.

“But you looked like you were worried and unhappy just now. Is it because Aren can’t satisfy you? Is your sex life not harmonious?”

“Is he too small to satisfy you?”

Jocelyn quickly turned around and covered Eliza’s mouth.

“Enough, stop guessing.” Jocelyn felt anger boiling on the top of her head. What had Eliza been watching all day? Why did she have so many adult thoughts in her head?

“It’s not what you think it is. It’s the complete opposite of what you think it is.” Jocelyn fought back her shame and whispered into Eliza’s ear with her red face.

“So stop making wild guesses, okay?” Jocelyn sounded like she was begging Eliza.

Eliza nodded, and Jocelyn let go of her hand.

However, Eliza did not plan to let Jocelyn off so easily. An interested look appeared on her face, making Jocelyn panic. She felt that Eliza was about to say something embarrassing again.

As expected, Jocelyn’s guess was right.

“You said it’s exactly the opposite of what I guessed, but I don’t think so. If it’s the opposite, you can’t be so unhappy, right? So… you didn’t cheat on Aren, did you?”

“That’s the only way you’ll feel sad, because you don’t know how to explain it to Aren. Am I right this time?” Eliza raised an eyebrow.

But Jocelyn let out a long sigh. “It’s not what you think. What are you thinking? Eliza, how could I have done something like that?”.
