“What? You want to get married?” Mrs. Brown stood up from her chair and looked at Aren in surprise.

Her grandson had finally brought back a girl and was about to marry the girl in front of him. This development was so fast that she couldn’t believe what she had just heard.

At this rate, she would be able to get a grandson next year!

Hearing his grandmother’s question, Aren did not hesitate at all and repeated. His eyes were very firm, and he did not seem to be joking. Moreover, Aren had a stubborn personality since he was young, and he would definitely think of ways to accomplish what he had decided.

When Madam Brown heard this again, she looked at the two people in front of her happily and said, “God, this is great. My grandson is finally getting married!”

Her grandson had always been indifferent to the women around him. Unexpectedly, her grandson actually brought back such a beautiful girl today. One look and you could tell that she was a good girl. This really satisfied Madam Brown.

Mrs. Brown continued to look at the little girl carefully. She pulled Jocelyn aside and asked enthusiastically, “Sweet girl, tell me your name and what you do. Who else is in your family?”

Jocelyn forced a smile and looked at Aren for help.

“Just answer truthfully!” Aren said casually as he sat at the side, a trace of happiness flashed across his face.

However, Jocelyn’s line of sight was quickly blocked by Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown continued kindly, “You don’t have to worry about him. Just tell me the truth!”

Jocelyn had no choice but to look away and reply politely, “Hello, grandma. My name is Jocelyn. I just graduated from university and am an intern assistant fashion designer. My father is Mr. Wilson, and I have a stepmother and a stepsister at home!”

“Good, good, good!”

Madam Brown was extremely satisfied. “If this brat, Aren, bullies you, just tell Grandma. I’ll help you deal with him! Now that you’re part of the Brown family, if you need anything in the future, let Aren help you. Don’t stand on ceremony.”

Looking at Mrs. Brown, Jocelyn smiled sincerely. Mrs. Brown was amiable and very concerned about her like her grandmother, who had passed away, used to be.

“So this is the old madam of the Brown family.” Jocelyn thought. Though her hair was all gray, because she took good care of her skin, she looked like someone in their fifties.

“I’m not gonna bully her!” Aren glanced at Jocelyn and spoke with disdain.

As if warning Aren, Madam Brown said, “Aren, don’t hate Grandma for being a nag. I have to remind you that you have to cherish someone you like. If you miss a chance, you might miss it for the rest of your life. Don’t regret it when the time comes. You have to treat Miss Jocelyn well. Don’t make her sad!”

No one else in the world knew better than her what kind of a boy her grandson was.

He always looked cold on the outside and said things that he didn’t mean to say, but If someone could enter and open up his heart, he would treat them sincerely.

However, more often than not, this cold look of his would accidentally hurt and scare off people closest to him.

Knowing that his grandma was sincerely teaching him something important, Aren put away the cold expression on his face and said, “I know, Grandma. Don’t worry.”

Hearing that, Madam Brown smiled at the two of them and said, “Alright, Miss Jocelyn, stay for dinner tonight. I’ve already asked the kitchen to make more dishes today. I don’t know if Miss Jocelyn likes them! Miss Jocelyn, you must not decline, or else I will be sad!”

In the end, Jocelyn was forced to stay for dinner.

She sat at a luxurious table and looked at the table of dishes in front of her. These dishes were all delicacies from all over the world. Madam Brown had specially instructed her servants to make them for Jocelyn.

“Aren, why are you sitting there still? Hurry up and get some food for Miss Jocelyn.’

Madam Brown looked at Jocelyn with a smile on her face. She kept making Jocelyn eat the food and said, “When you officially marry into the Brown family, I will get the kitchen to cook according to Miss Jocelyn’s taste.”

Seeing this, Jocelyn felt warmth in her heart. She smiled and nodded at Mrs. Brown. “Thank you for your hospitality, grandma. I really like the food now!”

Looking at the scene, Aren smiled secretly. He was happy that Jocelyn could put a smile on his grandma’s face and happy about choosing Jocelyn as his partner.

“Aren, when do you plan to announce the marriage? I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time. Everyone in the family will be delighted upon hearing this news.” Mrs. Brown wiped her mouth and smiled at the two of them.

“Don’t worry, I have my own plans!”
