After reading the contract, Jocelyn found nothing wrong with it. She closed her eyes and flipped to the last page. “I’ll sign it.”

The tip of the pen quickly brushed across the paper, making a rustling sound. Seeing this scene, Aren’s lips curled up, and a triumphant smile appeared on his face.

Everything went according to his plan. He successfully made her sign the contract.

After a few swooshes, Jocelyn signed her name on the last page. After signing, the lawyer walked up and put away the contract. With a smile on his face, he said, “The contract is in effect now. If there’s nothing else, I’ll leave first! I wish the two of you a happy life!”

The lawyer smiled at the two of them and left.

After signing the contract, for some reason, Jocelyn heaved a sigh of relief, as if a huge rock had been lifted from her shoulders. Now that she finally had someone to share the burden with, she felt a sense of relief.

Although the man in front of her was cold, he looked like a reliable person.

“Miss Jocelyn, happy working with you!”

Arens’s face regained its indifference. He walked up and held Jocelyn’s hand, saying indifferently, “From now on, you are mine. If you need any help, you can come to me anytime. After all, I don’t want my wife to be bullied by others and disgrace my family name. Let’s go, I’ll take you to see my grandmother to discuss the engagement!”

“This quick?” Jocelyn was shocked.

She knew that she would visit the elders of the Brown Family after signing the contract, but she didn’t expect it to come so quickly. Her mind was still in a mess, and she didn’t know what to say.

She had never fantasized about having a marriage, let alone meeting the parents of her husband.

As if sensing her nervousness, Aren glanced at Jocelyn and said indifferently, “What are you afraid of? My grandma doesn’t eat people. Besides, she has always been kind to any woman who might become my wife.”

Although his face was still cold, one could still tell that he was trying to put her at ease. After saying that, Aren stood up and walked out.

In a hurry, she adjusted her clothes and followed Aren.

Now that she had signed the contract, she had to fulfill it.

However, she did not know what kind of person Madam Brown was and how she would treat her granddaughter-in-law.

A short distance later, Aren ushered Jocelyn into the hall, where Mrs. Brown was already waiting at the dining table.

Aren knew that his grandmother would wait for them in the living room. If his grandmother wanted him to get married, she would probably agree to his marriage even if he got married now, so she wouldn’t make things difficult for Jocelyn.

As soon as Jocelyn walked into the spacious hall, she saw a white-haired old lady looking in their direction with a smile. Her eyes were filled with smiles, and her clothes were simple but still well-made.

In the middle of the large hall, there was a long round table that was used for formal receptions.

It seemed that Madam Brown really took her seriously. She did not have the domineering aura of a rich person at all. Instead, she looked very amiable, like… her grandfather and grandmother that she had long lost.

Knowing this, Jocelyn relaxed a little. She smiled and walked towards Madam Brown.

“WOW!” When Mrs. Brown saw her grandson leading a beautiful young girl in, she sized up Jocelyn from head to toe with a satisfied expression.

Although she said just now that she would prepare the marriage agreement immediately, it was still impossible for a girl to enter the family if she did not meet the Brown family’s requirements. However, as the girl walked towards her step by step just now with a beautiful figure and a polite smile on her face, she definitely met all the criteria.

Jocelyn had a fair face that made her look youthful and energetic. When she smiled, she gave people a sense of comfort.

This girl was not bad! The smile in Mrs. Brown’s eyes deepened. She quickly called the girl forward to let her take a closer look. “Beautiful lady, what’s your name? Who are your parents? What other relatives do you have?”

She sounded extremely satisfied with Jocelyn.

Before waiting for Jocelyn to reply, Aren suddenly said to the two people in front of him, “Grandma, her name is Jocelyn, and I want to marry her!”

His words were like a sudden clap of thunder, making Mrs. Brown’s eyes widen in shock..
