Chapter 220 - NOT REMOVING THE LIFE SUPPORT

Jillyanna went back to the hospital immediately after the meeting. She found Wynwyn and Diego standing outside, talking to Hawk about some things she didn't care about.

"Was there any changes to his condition?" Jillyanna asked Hawk as she placed her bag on the couch. She washed her hands and arms before walking towards her husband.

"Nothing has changed. The doctors wanted to talk to you about his condition." Hawk answered her.

Jillyanna sighed and sat on the chair beside his bed. She took hold of his hand and kissed it again and again. "Hubby, I cleaned up your messy empire earlier. Didn't you know that many people stained your place? If I didn't clean it, you'll drowned in death. Hey! You have to wake up soon cause I don't like to deal with your business. It was such a hassle. You know I hate doing business, right? I love to be lazy but here I am working for you." Jillyanna mumbled to him even though he couldn't hear her. "Wake up soon, okay? If you won't wake up I will leave you."

She smiled at your own threat because she knew she couldn't do it to him. She loves him so much that she couldn't bare to part with him.

Everyone gave her space and just waited for her outside the VIP room. No matter how much they wanted to see Travis, they could only watch him through the small glass panel on the door.

Jillyanna was very protective of him and she was having a hard time trusting anyone. She knew they were his friends but she didn't know them thoroughly. The only people she trusted were those who stayed with her for over a month already like Savannah and Hawk.

After almost fifteen minutes of talking to unconscious Travis, Jillyanna decided to go out and face everyone but they could no longer find the life and cheerfulness in her eyes.

"Are you alright?" Wynwyn asked her when she came out of the room.

"Hn. I am fine. So have you prepared the details for your press conference? I won't say anything about this matter cause I know you are better in this matter." Jillyanna replied, sitting on the bench in front of the VIP room.

"I sent it to your email already." Wynwyn answered her.

"Oh sorry. I haven't checked my own email. Anyway, I won't touch the entertainment company." Jillyanna informed them and turned to Diego. "Travis trusted you to take care of that company. If anything happens to it while he asleep, I'll kick your ass even if you are friends."

Diego flicked her forehead lightly which in turn Jillyanna kicked his leg. "I am not going to ruin something we've built with so much difficulty. I won't give you the chance to kick my ass either." Diego stated with a smile to her. He knew she was just concern of the things that belong to Travis that was why he wasn't a bit upset with her words.

"I am giving you five minutes to see for yourself how Travis is. After five minutes you have to go out and go home to take a rest."

Diego and Wynwyn didn't wait for her to finish and went inside the room in a hurry. They saw how pale he was and how many wounds he got. His arm had some stitches and he was bruised on different parts of his body. The most worrisome was the gauze bandage that was wrapped around his head. He looked emaciated.

"Cheska told me that if a patient does not wake up or response to a stimuli, the patient will be declared under coma." Diego whispered to Wynwyn.

"Do you think Travis will be under coma?"

"I hope he won't but it would most likely happen."

"I can only pray for his recovery."

They were whispering to each other to make sure that Jillyanna wouldn't hear them. After five minutes, the two of them went out of the room.

"Let me know if you want to add or remove something from the email I sent you. I'll work on it before the press conference tomorrow." Wynwyn reminded Jillyanna when they were outside once again.

"I'll check on it later." Jillyanna responded.

"Take care of yourself. If you need anything, just let us know." Diego told her before they left her with Hawk and Savannah.

Her mother left early to go home so Jillyanna didn't get to see her when she came back. She wasn't worried though since a bodyguard sent her home.

It wasn't 7 o'clock yet so Jillyanna decided to see the doctor first before eating dinner. "Hawk, Savy, I'll talk to the doctor for awhile. I'll leave Travis in your care. I'll be back as soon as possible."

"Sure. Come back as soon as you can." Savannah reminded while watching her fetch her bag from the couch.

The doctor's office wasn't very far, just five minutes away from Travis office if you walk slowly. The sound of her shoes stomping lightly on the floor echoed the beat of her heart. She was nervous and scared to know what was really the condition of her husband but she had to face it. There's no other way but to face the truth.

She knocked on the door and waited for anyone's response. The assistant nurse opened the door for her with a faint smile. "Come in."

"Good evening." Jillyanna greeted them but they could tell from her expression that she didn't have a good evening at all.

The doctor didn't beat around the bush knowing it would only build her anxiety. He told Jillyanna the truth about Travis and the chances of his survival. Her tears started falling down but she wiped it off with the back of her hand immediately.

"I'm really sorry to tell you this Mrs. Madrigal. Nevertheless, we still continue to monitor him. We will not give up on him."

"Hn. I understand doc but as early as now, I'm telling you that I don't have any plan to remove the life support. No matter how long it will take for him to wake up, I will wait for him." She stated firmly, hot tears streaming down her face, her heart broken but she will remain strong for him and for their baby. She knew that he will keep his promise to her. She believed him.
