Chapter 174 - An Aggressive Gameplay Advice

Name:Ceo Unrivaled Author:inflict
That afternoon, Sofia's usual quiet place was filled with the noise of her members. After their class, she instructed them to practice playing the ban mode.

Claire and Joey were the most energetic among the four. Clark could only gasp his reactions while playing. Stephen, on the other hand, was completely silent.

"Hahaha, Retreat! No mana! Don't push Clark. Wait for me," Claire said while her assassin character started to teleport back in their base.

"Back! Back! Back! My skills are still in cool down!" Joey also announced with full of enthusiasm.

Jing Jing reached into Sofia's apartment unit and could hear the teens playing inside. The door of the apartment was opened widely and saw the four members of the Chronos squad sitting around the mini table.

"Hi, guys! I came early!" Jing Jing called from the outside.

In an instant, the four members looked up and smiled at her. But, they also returned to focus on the game quickly.

"Miss Jing Jing, hi! Sofia informed us about the celebration for tonight. But, her class will be finished at 8:30 PM. So, we are just practicing the game right now," Claire stated while her eyes were looking at the map of the game.

Jing Jing nodded but she hesitated to get inside.

"Miss Jing Jing, please, come in and feel at home. Although the owner is not yet here. So sorry, we are in the middle of a match," Joey mumbled.

"It's okay. You guys continue what you are doing. I have nothing better to do at home. So, I came here early," Jing Jing responded. Sofia had indeed told her about the night class schedule, but because of her excitement for the celebration, she ended up going out early.

"Oh, you brought a cake! Nice! Nice!" Claire expressed the second time she looked up at Jing Jing.

"Yes! Congratulations!" Jing Jing answered. She then placed the box containing the cake in the center of the mini table.

"Wow! That is a beautiful cake! Thank you so much!" Jing Jing expressed when she took a peek at the box.

"There is a spare chair in Sofia's bedroom, Miss Jing Jing. Wait, I'll get it for you!" Stephen spoke and left the group. He expertly multi-tasked from walking towards Sofia's bedroom while both his hands were holding the mobile phone, maneuvering his virtual character to simultaneously deliver series of attacks to their opponent.

"Okay, ATTACK!!! PUSH!!!" Stephen loudly said when he got inside the room. Then, he emerged with his body pushing the chair.

"Don't back down, my ultimate is ready!" Clark announced too,

"Wait, wait, the enemy is missing. This might be an ambush!" Joey made a guess.

Jing Jing looked at the group helplessly. She found herself lost in words while watching them fully immersed in the game, but at the same time, acknowledging her arrival.

"Thanks! I'm just going to watch you guys," she said and grabbed the chair that Stephen was pushing towards her.

"Miss Jing Jing, we will finish this match soon," Clark appealed feeling a little guilty of their actions. But they had no choice for there was no option to pause the game.

"It's really okay. You don't need to rush. Hehe, I will busy myself here," Jing Jing stated as she continued to listen to the group.

"Miss Jing Jing, come and see my gameplay! Hehe, I am the assassin of the team," Claire cheered and moved her hand to give Jing Jing easy access to see her mobile screen.

Jing Jing nodded and smiled widely.

"Oh, okay, which one are you? I have played a similar game of 5 vs 5 in the pc. So, I have a bit of understanding of the game too," Jing Jing told them.

Claire made a circular movement of her left thumb on the screen and her assassin character also turned around. "See that?" she asked.

"Yes, so you are hiding in the grass. Oh, you are going to ambush that character woman? Is that also an assassin?" Jing Jing expressed asking Claire for some details about the role. On the screen, there was a sexy mage that Claire was about to ambush.

"No, this one is not an assassin. It is our opponent's mage and its power is to summon ice and freeze its enemy. I am just waiting for her to come out of their tower's range of defense. It will be very dangerous if I froze within their tower. Its damage is too high!" Claire explained.

"I think she knew that you are waiting for her to ambush. How about you attack in the back area? Just move around this wall," Jing Jing casually suggested.

Since the sexy female character stayed behind the defensive tower, Jing Jing somehow understood that the enemy was relying on the damage of the tower. Thus, it was indeed much easy for Claire if she would deliver an ambush from the backside of the enemy.

"Ms, Jing Jing, your strategy is too aggressive! I like that!" Claire expressed and quickly followed the suggestion. She activated her invisibility and went to another grass.

"AHAHA, is it? Maybe a little bit aggressive," Jing Jing agreed. "However, back then when I still played the pc game, this kind of strategy is very common. You are the assassin, so, you have to give an impression to your opponents that no place on the map is safe. Give them some psychological fear," she thoughtfully added.

Every member of the Chronos squad seemed to make a pause for a few seconds. Jing Jing's advice was not only beyond their expectation, but it was also brutal. To inflict a psychological fear on your opponent, one must be an expert.

"Oh, so you play this online game too! Wow! No wonder, you told me that strategy" Claire chuckled.

"It was just for fun. I am not famous or expert of the game," Jing Jing stated.

"Ms. Jing Jing, do you want to play?" Claire suddenly offered. She was completely amazed by Jing Jing's words that she almost wanted to see how Jing Jing's gameplay would be if she really use her character.

"HAHA, no, I am not familiar with the characters of this game. And it's been so long since I played online games," Jing Jing immediately refused.

"Okay, I won't force you to play this match. But, can you play one match with us after this?" Claire asked.

"I don't have an account for this game," Jing Jing slightly laughed.

"But, your gameplay would be something that will definitely develop our skills. It is rare to hear from someone the idea that you just told us," Claire insisted. She suddenly had the urged to learn from Jing Jing.

"Hahaha, you have too much faith in my gameplay. But, in fact, I have already seen that idea in your last match during the tournament. You are scary alone as an assassin. And your enemies were also scared when you gank and clash at them," Jing Jing expressed.

"I did not realize that we have reached that kind of level as a gamer. We still have so much to learn," Claire replied.

"Yes. Especially me. I am just an amateur in this game," Clark joined their conversation.

"The room for improvement will always be open to those who are willing to enhance their skills. Don't worry. Even if you guys are not yet at that level, you will still reach that level soon. Just continue to improve," Jing Jing encouraged them.

"Hehe, I agree to that! We needed to improve. It's because the regional tournament of the game was officially announced. And there is a newly released mode on the battlefield, so, we have to practice more," Stephen initiated an explanation to justify their actions.

"And we have to divide our time. The schoolwork, the tournament, and also the business," Claire added while pouting her lips.

"That is impressive! I'm sure you can reach all your goals! You are a group of brilliant teens. Your future is already bright!" Jing Jing stated.

"Nah, we are just shadows of Sofia. Hehehe, whatever she tells us, we will follow," Joey playfully said.

At the same time, they were facing an intense and chaotic clash. Jing Jing looked at the four of them as their thumbs pressed the screen of their phones in swift movements.

Her eyes shifted to Claire's phone and saw that only one opponent was able to survive in the clash. But the group was still trying to catch the enemy as they ran after their target.

"Don't let that opponent escape," Jing Jing blurted after seeing that the surviving opponent had almost arrived at their base.

"I got it, I got it," Stephen yelled again while his character sprinted. Then, he fired a series of attacks until the opponent died in his hand.

"HAHAHAHA, I caught her!"

"YES! Victory!"

"Still easy!"

Their series of laughter floated in the air, hinting that their match was already finished.

"Good game!" Claire announced before keeping her phone away.. She then twisted her neck side to side and stretched her hands in the air to relax her entire body.
