Chapter 147 - Surely An Interesting Life

Name:Ceo Unrivaled Author:inflict
"My gosh! I don't know if I want to share the perspective recording of this match. This will end in just one kill!" some of the spectators were lamenting after seeing that Sofia was really pushing to destroy all the opponent's defensive towers.

Krista19 also furrowed her brows and quickly sent a message on their game chat.

Krista19: Do not end yet!

It was not a plea but a demand. If she would be defeated just by a single kill, it was a huge blow to her reputation. There was no way she would forgive Sofia if she would really end the game.

But after she sent her chat, she saw a prompt reply. And Sofia's response almost made her vomit out of anger.

CEO UNRIVALED: It's late, time to sleep!

Krista19 face palmed. Her two hands pressed her cheek and tried to calm herself.

Time to sleep! What kind of reasoning is this?!

There was no gamer who would use this kind of poor alibi that she had known of!

The moment Krista19 respawned from her death, she tried to block Sofia's aggressive attacks. But because of the lack of ultimate, she had no choice but to continuously retreat. If will be killed again, it would be more embarrassing!

She could not afford to gain another death! She could not afford to let Sofia end their battle either.

But, it was inevitable! CEO UNRIVALLED was unstoppable.

When the creeps entered the vicinity of Krista19's base, she could only stun those tiny soldiers to delay their movements.

Sofia was already decided. She planned to battle with the streamer in just less than 15 minutes. So, when the timer reached almost the time that she set to finish the battle, her focus of attack was already on the base.

"Ahh, no wonder the condition of entering the battle room to watch this match was not so high. It turned out, the game is not as spectacular as what I have anticipated!"

"It's still cool. What an unusual game!"

"At least, we saw the potential of the summoner character in this game. This is rare to see!"

By the time the game was decided, every spectator's views were divided. Some thought that it was not so great and they were disappointed by its flow. Others were still appreciative of seeing the opportunity for summoner character.

In the end, those who watched the game went to their social media accounts and posted "GG" as well as a congratulatory message for Sofia. The other netizens also asked them to post the spectator's recordings for the gameplay.

Most of them hesitated to upload the recordings of their perspective, however, there was one spectator who took the courage and sent the video to the public with a caption of "Summoner: It's a unique match!"

On the other hand, Krista19 was fuming in anger as the big 'DEFEAT' word was displayed on her screen.

It was over in just a single death. For sure, she would be a laughingstock to their community. She was immune to bashers calling her trash, but this kind of result from her match with Sofia still give her a hurtful impression.

For all the effort that she had done to grind EXP level and gold and reached the full build only to die once and be defeated right away, it was unfair!

She felt a deep hole of disappointment on her chest. It was a bitter feeling of frustration.

Her hand clasped the mobile phone tightly.

"Time to sleep? Does she think I'm stupid? It's just 11pm! What a joke! You are just afraid that I would get even with you if you don't push!" she muttered coldly, unable to move on about the result of their match.

For a streamer like her who usually sleeps at 3am, Sofia's reasoning for ending their battle was too shallow. To say, 11pm was too early for her.

But she was no longer in the mood to stream too. "This is not the last time that I will fight with you. Hmmph! If you think you have proved yourself, it was nothing but cowardice!"

Krista19 continued to talk in the air. She then gritted her teeth and decided to leave her gaming room full of bitterness in her heart.

Meanwhile, Sofia and Stephen were just finishing their coffee. The box of their donut was also empty.

"I'll sleep now," Sofia told Stephen. She then stood up on the floor and stretched her entire body. Despite the coffee that she drank, she was still determined to go to sleep.

"Mmmn, I'll crash here on the couch if I'll get sleepy," Stephen nodded and returned his attention to his papers. Unlike Sofia, the effect of coffee was kicking in his system. He did not felt any drowsiness at all!

Sofia walked to her bedroom and snatch a pillow and fresh blanket. "Use this, Steph... Good night!" she casually said and handed them to Stephen.

"Thank you! Good night, Sof!" Stephen said while accepting the blanket and pillow. He then transferred from the carpeted floor to the sofa.

Sofia only nodded her head before turning her back and walked back to her bedroom. Stephen could only look at her figure until the door shut closed.

"In my past life, I never had someone who stayed at my place for a night," Sofia muttered as she prepared herself for bed.

She had friends for sure, but, it was insulting for her friend's status if they stayed at the house that they did not own to sleep.

At most, the friends she had in the past would be more than willing to get their hotel room rather than stay in her mansion. And so is she. Sofia would never also stay with other places if it was not her property.

This was the elite life that she had lived.  People of her caliber had status and all their actions had consequences. In their mind, if they to a house that is not their property, it would be equivalent as they were beggars. Such an act of humiliation that they were not willing to give in.

"This new life is sure interesting!" Sofia whispered as she lay in her bed and dosed in sleep.
